Running to the sound, I found a dented up fire escape. Oppon closer inspection I found the dents perfectly matched those made by human hands. "Who the hell was I dealing with?!" I thought "They bent solid steal with there bare hands, and just vanished." I was going to call it a night and see if I could figure out what the hell was going on wen I noticed the dumpster. It had moved. "so this is were you're hiding..." I thought as I pulled out my gun. "You! Behind the dumpster! Stand up with your hands behind you're head, NOW!"

At the speed she moved a normal human would only see a blur. Nia pumped her legs faster and leaped across a long gap between buildings. Dropping into a silent roll she breathed in a sigh of relief. She was in the heart of her territory one of the main forests on the east coast. Glancing down at her now ripped clothes she sighed. Several tiny rips were scattered along her jeans and a a large gash in the fabric were she hit the fire escape. Slipping into the woods, Nia crept along to her den. When she first left home she had made her den at the top of to large gnarling oak trees. Nia had dug out a large hollow inside the tree and lined it with soft moss, scraps of cloth and anything comfortable she could find. Using her claws she funneled a small hole that curved slightly as not to let rain in but provide good ventilation. Since her body functioned at a much lower heat level warmth was not a problem.
A bucket allows her to pull up Zula a 6 month old wolf pup she adopted. Zulu normally hung around the tree inside a small hollow underneath the roots. Yipping from outside announced her presence. Laughing to herself Nia pulled the happy pup up to her. Immediately she jumped out and licked her face, the wolf's tail wagged happily as she greeted her. Laying down Nia sighed and stretched out. Her hollow was about 6 feet across in diameter with the small opening being 3 feet wide, just enough for her and Zula to fit.

i sat still..my hands are sire from my previous struggling.. I'm so tired..I cant even think of what i'm going to do. If I tell him the truth he'll think i'm lying or throw me in the mental hospital. Damn You vinny..why'd you have me promise you do this fucking shit. And even If he concludes that in my picture is that vamp lady..dosent save me. The forest was quiet, miles away from any human settlement there was peace. Something was nagging her though, telling her to go back to the city. Zulu barked down below to get her attention. Nia sighed, Zula was perfectly fine on her own, she herself had scared off the massive predators and plus, she always followed her instinct.

Three hours later she found him. His scent lead inside a police station, a place she definently could not follow. However, she might be able to hear.... Moving silently she placed listened through an air duct on the side of the building. All was silent for several minutes until a mans voice spoke. What was going on? Ria's brow furrowed. When she saw the curious human she had come for walking out she was even more confused. What was happening?

Nia snooped around the building, she could see a middle aged man sitting at a desk with his head in his hands. Blinking slowly she looked closer. He looked tired and...revenge driven. In front of her was the picture of a tired man looking for revenge.
