With that, I think we'll be closing demigod applications. revan and oldmanwong are the last whose CS's we'll consider.
Also, Lauder's character is either going to be fathered by Vakarlion alone or, if anyone is interested, by two gods. If you can see your character fathering such a demigod, feel free to nominate yourself. Else Vak will be going more or less asexual.

@Kho What if we create or have characters who may later ascend for some reason or another?

Also, how did Zephyrion change the Codex when he made elementals. Did I miss that part?

Well, i just want my metal capes, although I do like the idea of the gods gradually introducing new alloys with wildly different properties. Would make technology advancement interesting.

That's a different story, and a bridge we'll cross when we get to it.
And yes, it's all in the IC. He didn't do it by directly taking the Codex, but just changed the inherent laws of the universe so as to account for 'flickers'.

@Kho Fair enough.

So since Zephyrion broke the rules, he's gonna get his ass handed to him?

Eh, he'll be punished in some way, it'll probably serve as a jarring reminder to all the gods: Above every powerful is one more powerful

Change Incarnate ain't just a title; the power that he put into the Codex became Change and was spread out globally. It's as omnipresent in the universe as physics. Naturally it works autonomously and he doesn't have to enable every chemical reaction or Change, but in his sheet I mention that he still retains a large degree of control over Change. That's why he was so unbelievably angry at Vulamera in that collab for trying to use his power even though it was to save her own life.

Yes, I realize that in theory this makes him absurdly powerful because he could just will things out of existence or decide that gravity no longer existed, but rest assured that nothing of the sort will happen. If you read the post in question I'm pretty sure that I even made Zeph nervous about makign even that minor alteration and try to make the Change as quickly and subtly as possible.

So he exploited this predicament of his by manipulating Change in such a way as to allow for those artificial souls that would otherwise be inconceivable. OOC I see no godmodding in him doing something so minor, but on a conceptual level it violates the still-untold rules of Fate and Amul'Sharar.

Or something along those lines.

@Cyclone@Dawnscroll Basically, we have a few gods who could quite easily be way overpowered: Logos, Zephyrion, Vestec and Vowzra. Each player is in a position of responsibility to not do anything stupid, but the restrictions of the Codex and the Wrath of Amul'Sharar are both there to ensure that any OPness is swiftly dealt with.
Regarding me, something even more scary holds me to account: you lot.

Edit: Ull'Yang as well, now that I think on it.

Well, all gods are, on some degree, able to will things out of existence. Not only Zeph. It's just that Zeph is able to do that with not as much effort when compared to the to the other gods.

I am currently in the works on a post where I will be creating my plane. I plan to finish it all in one post and then proceed to create dragons in the next one, so anyone who might want to do anything with dragons, sit tight.

Ah, in true Egyptian fashion Vakarlon should just make sweet love to his own shadow and thus create an entire pantheon of gods.

@Kho@Cyclone To an extent, Logos is both an powerful god and a weak one. He can totally fuck over an army by increasing gravity to the extent they become jellyfied. He can melt metal by freezing the air around it and concentrating that latent energy into the obect. He can turn some elements/materials into others, which is how he changed the landscape of Arcon over time.

He can't make something out of nothing. He has no control over souls or minfs; those of you who saw him mind raping Vulamera and/or Ilunabar would note that it was more Pavlovian torture than changing who she was. And above all, he cannot break his own rules: Physics must remain as a law; so stuff like magic and the ilk are completely off fornhim. If his followers get 'spells', it would be akin to his own current power. He can't even make a personal plane because in theory, this universe IS his plane.

-Formican (Ants change the land, giant ants cause instability and extinction ensues)

Keep in mind that Mammoth Ants are herbivorous and only exist in the Deepwood's heartlands. The Bull Ants are very aggressive and may have caused some extinctions, but they only live in the Deepwood heartlands too, so do all giant ants.
No giant ants live beyond the Deepwood's heartlands. All other ants live wherever.
