Summary
You awake in a castle surrounded by clouds. What is this place? How did you get here? You can't remember. The last thing you can recall is falling asleep like you normally do, and now you're here, in this foreign place, with others having the same experience.
There's no leaving. The castle has an outside, a courtyard and a garden, but what space there is quickly drops off into the sky. It's a miniature floating island.
People are starting to disappear. Every night someone else is taken, and there are signs of a struggle, blood. Who brought you here? Who's taking you now? What is this place? And most importantly, how do you stop it?
Welcome to Fragments of Memory! Throwing this out to see if anyone is interested. This is a Kingdom Hearts based RP featuring your original characters. No canons are allowed at this time. You don't need any knowledge of the Kingdom Hearts series to be able to play. Your character can come from any world within or outside of the traditional KH worlds. You will have no equipment, no weapons or items (but you may find some in the castle later on).
In addition to the abilities you choose when creating your character, everyone will be granted special abilities randomly when the RP starts (list below). The RP needs at least one bad guy, maybe two. Please feel free to volunteer to be bad! Keep it a secret, though; you don't want people to know you're the one abducting and/or horribly murdering everyone.
I'd like at least 5 players, no more than 8. If there are more than 5, more vigilante roles will open up. There may also be more than one murderer/abductor, if there's enough interest in playing a bad guy.
Special Abilities Granted by the GM:
- Murder/Abduct - (PM me if you want to be a bad guy, this is the only ability that won't be randomly assigned)
- Detect - learn the special ability of one character
- Protect - choose someone to protect from being murdered
- Sense - choose 2 characters, if one of those characters is targeted for murder/abduction, you will get to know about it
- Vigilante - keep one character from doing an action
One day is one round. Every round you can choose to use one of these abilities. The action will happen at the beginning of the next round.
Round 1: I'mma detect if that guy's been killing us all, yo.
Round 2 starts: *GM sends you the answer privately* It's not him, drat.
You can try to convince people which ability you have, but please don't prove it with a screen shot. It's supposed to be a mystery: who's kidnapping/murdering everyone? But if you go ahead and prove beyond all doubt what role was assigned to you, it makes it substantially less fun. Figure it out without cheating, please. :)
Rules
- PM me your character sheet.
- Murder is only allowed if the player consents to it; otherwise, they're considered abducted.
- Every Saturday a new day (new round) will start. PM me your special ability action before then; if you don't, you forfeit your action.
