Jen doesn't plan on working. She plans on getting drunk as all hell and seeing who she can con into going to the back alley to steal their soul.

Then my character catches on and kicks her butt. Or dies on her first day on the job, the opposite of dying the day before retirement. But even if she dies she won't be killed and be back to work the next day, inexplicably.

I'm assuming they wake up the next morning (at their starting location) had they been killed? Murders will have a ton of trouble getting away with it so I dont imagine miss soul suck could trick many people until word gets around that, "hey, that's the lady who killed me!" unless there's a loophole where people loose memories of their murderer so only remember fights/deaths between willing battles.

/shrug it's what she does, it's up to the GM of the thread to figure that out.

Edit: I'm assuming leeroy knows about shadow hearts so he would know what she would have to do to power herself up and grow.

Of course, any character is allowed. As long as they aren't a terribad or godtier.

If you post the sheet I'll review it shortly.

Cool. I'll start working on a character :)

I feel safe in speaking for LeeRoy when I say this is going to need some work, Arena CS's tend to require a bit more detail than you may be used to, unless you want to enter the character at the highest possible tier, because as it stands his power set is way too broad and general.

Check Here for some examples of Arena character sheets.

Good character, Titan Force could use a little more precise figures though so your opponent has some sort of idea of exactly how 'Superhuman' he gets. I'd recommend either statistics or just a X5/X10 or however powerful you want him to be.

The only problem with this character is that it's very strangely balanced. Without using Titan Force it comes in around low/mid powered ranges in terms of durability, but his magical powers are very strong, the plasma sword for example is essentially making a lightsaber at whim, which would kill characters like mine instantly on contact. Basically despite how he's set up he's a bit of a glass-cannon, his damage potential is high but his durability is very low, which means in a fight with a more balanced higher tier character you're at a severe disadvantage unless you start no-selling (avoiding everything) your opponent's attacks.

Still, I'm sure you're aware of the disadvantage, but if you wanted to avoid it I'd recommend either re balancing him so his damage potential is either reduced somewhat so he falls back into mid-tier or create contingencies for fighting opponents with high damage, because as it stands despite all his abilities an opponent with an anti-material rifle (which is probably around mid-tier) could put a round through his chest and kill him instantly.

Also I'm just going to start providing unofficial and completely unasked for advice on every character entered to save LeeRoy some time, as he's busy at the moment.

What all do I need to change

Less change, more add, first are you playing as Dante from the DMC universe? Not sure if LeeRoy is allowing un-original characters, but you can probably create a character using the canon with similar skills/weapons. Regardless, presuming this was an original character.

Name: Dante (Fine)
Age: 17 (Fine)
Appearance out of armor: (Devil may cry Dante) (Provide a picture or a written description.)
Appearance in armor: (my avatar but smaller) (Provide a description of the armour's capabilities, it it similar to steel plate or does it have supernatural resistance, if so what sort of damage can you expect it to repel?)
Bio unknown: (Some characters need a Bio to work with, but having a hidden backstory is usually fine for Arena.)
Weapons two revolvers: (Six shot? Are they magical in any way? Etc)
A steampunk scythe: (Needs a better description. An ordinary scythe is literally useless as a weapon, is it a weaponized scythe? How sharp is it? What can it realistically cut.)
Power polarization: (What does this mean? What is its limitations as a power, what are its strengths, etc.)
Special ethereal chains: (Why are they special?)

Like I said, check the link for an indepth look into what is expected of an Arena sheet. You have the basics set, but some things missing are physical attributes (at the moment your character would default with average human strength, speed, etc, which is clearly not what you're going for) and skills.

If he's Dante from the series (which I sort of doubt, unless he just neglected to post some of signature abilities) watch the most recent death battle where he demolishes Bayonetta. His skills are broad because it seems like he can do almost anything and is basically immortal. He would make my op characters proud. XD

Okay. I really, really should have my character edited tonight and post another character a day. At long last my nature manipulator Halfwood. Not likely having him in this multiverse because he would be too hard to fight for an average character who can't sense "natural energy". Controlling plantlife, especially uderground, would come up to get them and they couldn't really see it happening until it's too late, as they could only see it pop up right next to them for a split second before it connects. Plus he had plants that can inject herbs into his body or others that heal without him having to charge or focus on it. People usually don't like auto healing.

@Melonhead
Tyvm for the help.

@Blueflame
Okay, I'm online now. I can help you since I'm off today.

As a rule of thumb, I've noticed that any equipment, unless it is a very standard piece of equipment, generally needs about a paragraph of description.

Say a Desert Eagle. We all know how they shoot, so we wouldn't need a description.

But then we get into stuff like my Hi-Magnet Blade and we're gonna need a bit of explanation.

If you catch my drift.

Giving you a required length might help you out with filling in the gaps.

Edit: Also absolutely not Dante from DMC. Not because I have anything against him, he's not the worst character I've ever seen. It's more that most conventional characters can't kill him.

Kanitah, Fury, Skallagrim. These could, but I wouldn't call any of them conventional.
