A rather ordinary girl is suddenly thrust into a world of might and magic as a benevolent force comes for her death. Her rescuer and secret long time guardian explains she is the reincarnation of a goddess and heir to the throne of a once mighty kingdom brought to be raised in the mundane world when theirs was overrun by evil. Beset by danger all around her, she must come to decide whether this is all true. Does she really have magic? Is she the real reincarnation of the once powerful God Queen? And if so, can she really realize all this to fruition to save herself and her kingdom?

I like to write full descriptive bios, no picture or character sheets. Not because this isn't casual RP but because I don't want to call it advanced and say you have to write a certain number of paragraphs for me to be satisfied, if there's little to say than that's it! But that doesn't leave excuse for laziness :) And I'd appreciate the same expectation from you. If you're looking for an advanced RP, I think I can keep up, but I'm not going to force out something that doesn't feel natural.

I'll use an example from a 1x1 I'm doing now:

"Shit, shit, shit," Victoria Flemming quickly darted around large crowds of people attempting to get to work. She generally came in a tad early each day to make sure she wasn't ever late, but today was different. Her alarm didn't go off, her subway was running slow, and yet somehow she managed to walk through the doors perfectly on time, coffee in hand. She tried to uphold a certain image at work; completely put together.

Victoria kept her long, chestnut hair pulled back in a high bun, her makeup simple but clean and professional. She almost always wore the same type of clothing in different color combinations; today she chose a black pencil skirt and a light pink button down blouse, her black heels clicking against the hard floor of the office as she made her way to her desk.

It was the same story every day. Get to the office, answer emails, check on new projects, and edit the current. She took a seat quickly, sipping at her coffee as she flipped up her laptop. The office was set up bull pen style, all of the editors' desks facing one another in a square. Some of the editors had purchased privacy walls while they worked, while most simply kept it open. Victoria was one of the latter, preferring to keep tabs on what her coworkers were writing up on.

In Victoria's spare time, she bounced around the city in a flashy deep green and gold suit protecting the innocent from the criminals. She went by the name of Wallflower, possessing the unique ability to control certain aspects of mother nature. She tended to stick with vines, using them to attack and bind her targets. Things had started to pick up lately, forcing Wallflower farther out into the open. There was a particular criminal she'd been trying to get her hands on, yet they constantly seemed to slip from her grasp.

credit to my partner who wrote it but this is perfect for what I mean. You get a description of the character, without having it read like a dinner recipe.
