Backstory:

Before waking up in a world unfamiliar to her, Nova wasa a human trainer just like any other... Well, almost. Trainer might not quite be the right term for her as Nova was a member of her region's Ranger force. Devoting her life to the preservation of Pokemon and their natural habitats, she worked alongside a loyal friend she had rescued from the clutches of an abusive trainer. A Fennekin by the name of Salahyna trained and grew with her new friend, helping her out as best she could.

Bother human and Pokemon grew together doing the best that they could to bring about peace and protection to Pokemon everywhere. Fennekin eventually evolved into Braixen and again to the fierce Delphox over time, the pair about as close as one could be with another living being. When Salahyna fell sick, Nova herself was sick with worry frantically searching for a way to nurse her beloved friend back to health. It was during this search that she crossed paths with a Pokemon shrouded in mystery that promised to heal her friend if Nova helped heal the world. Desperate for help, Nova agreed without any idea of what it was she was supposed to be doing.

Next thing she knows, she's waking up in a forest with little memory of her original life and absolutely none of the promise she's made... Oh and did I mention, she's now a Fennekin?

Personality:

Nova is a determined soul with big dreams motivating her every action. A bit on the extreme side, she has a desire to protect everyone and gets upset easily when faced with the reality that she can't. She also has an unfortunate habit of biting off more than she can chew with a situation, whether that being facing up against a foe much larger than her, or carrying more objects than she can hold. Ambitions aside, Nova at her very core is a kind and compassionate person who feels and tries to take on everyone's problems for them.

Because of how much time she spends trying to take care of everyone else, Nova can get pretty down sometimes as she feels rather alone in her fight to end all things bad in the world. She's not sure what it is she's actually looking for, but Nova knows that there is something missing that she needs to get back.

Nova doesn't remember much about her previous life. She does know her name and she is certain beyond belief that she is human... But there's a second name that floats around her head from time to time; Salahyna. She doesn't know what it means, but she's determined to find out.

Backstory:
Before all of this started, Dylan grew up in a suburban community, and lived a relatively normal life. However, being young and foolish, he tended to procrastinate various things (or at least try). Homework, chores, family obligations; almost anything was fair game to pushing back. His grades and motivation quickly decreased, and was frequently scolded. He valued his time with friends above all else. What he lost in procrastination, he made up for with general care for his friends He often was afraid that he'd lose his friends, so he tried to make them happy whenever possible. However, when one of his small group of friends had to move away, the group started to fall apart. Dylan slowly grew depressed, and with nothing better to do, stopped procrastinating. He worked with little emotion or enthusiasm. Only when he found a new group of friends did he become happy again. He continued to do his work (though still tried to get out of it here and there) and found a balance in his life. Currently he has no memory of his human life, only knowing his name, and knowledge of Pokémon.

Personality:
Dylan tends to be wise for his age, due to the world wide web, as well as having to deal with some stress. He also puts others before himself mostly, however, he leans on those he trusts or absolutely needs help from. He tends to keep his true feelings and issues to himself, not wanting to bother others with his problems. Dylan enjoys to play games and has a competitive side to him when he plays. He makes friends fairly quickly (if they seem nice to him, that is), and once he considers someone a friend, he'll hold on to that title for as long as he can.

Name: Pip

Gender: Male

Pokemon: Kricketot

Backstory: Was raised by his doting mother Lyra, a Kricketune that was an intelligent and influential member of Valiant Village. He called her "Ma" and always admired her, though she was very stern. She went missing a few months ago when she tried to rescue another Pokemon from a dungeon, but neither of them ever came back.

Personality: Pip is very quiet, thoughtful, and often nervous around new people. He's a very level-headed and calm Pokemon, not as rash and abrasive like his best friend Jaki. His moves utilize his strengths, namely singing and bug-type moves that he's known since he was hatched, because he's not inherently a very good fighter. He was frequently bullied by bigger and stronger Pokemon when he was younger. He hopes that by fighting alongside Jaki and helping others he can become stronger. He admires and misses his mother, who was headstrong and brave; he hopes to find out what happened to her by going through dungeons and exploring.

Name: Jaki

Pokemon: Gligar

Backstory: Jaki has no idea where her parents are; they disappeared when she was a young hatchling. She fended for herself in the wilderness for a long time before arriving in Valiant Village, where Lyra adopted her. After Lyra disappeared, Jaki made it her goal to become an explorer and formed a rescue team with Pip to not only find their dear Ma, but altos help anyone else who needed it.

Personality: Jaki is hawkish and quarrelsome, a natural-born fighter. She's often very warm towards others, and in known around town for her loud and cheerful personality. She's very impulsive and fiery, and she's as quick to pick a fight as she is to crack a joke. Jaki is very protective of Pip, whom she fully considers to be her baby brother.

Special Features: She's notably smaller than the average Gligar, measuring about 2' head-to-tail instead of 3' head-to-tail, a fact that vexes her daily.

Name: Zaru

Pokemon: Chimchar

Backstory: Zaru was born and partially raised outside the village. Their tribe usually travelled from one place to another to hone their talents further. They would climb mountains, travel through forests like it's any other day. That was Zaru's everyday life and he enjoyed the heck out of it. He and his brother would usually compete on who's better which just makes Zaru better and better. They were one happy family but then their parents got sick and soon died from this illness because they didn't have the necessary herbs to heal them.

So Zaru and Rick departed for Valiant Village, the nearest village to their position. They managed to ease in perfectly thanks to the hospitality of the people there. He didn't think about it much but he was interested at Spirit's Guild. It was for explorers they say. Before he knew it though, he had gone through four seasons in the village already and he grew up. Despite coming from a family who can't stay put, he seemed to be very relaxed and just watched the other pokemon play. Suddenly, Rick up and left and said that he didn't want being stuck in one place. He asked Zaru if he wanted to come but the chimchar politely declined and stayed at Valiant Village.

Another year passed after that and he finally decided to join Spirit's Guild. Although this would be his second year there, he still hasn't joined a team yet. He usually takes applications that are basic and that's why he managed to get by without a team. But he seemed keen on joining one so he can get to more explorations. Sometimes, even a laid back pokemon has the spirit of an adventurer after all.

Personality: Zaru's the type of pokemon who is very laid back. He seems to just go with the flow, and doesn't seem to think about what the future has in store for him. He is friendly and usually spends most of his time basking in the glory of sunlight while sitting on a tree branch although he likes rain too of course. He also likes watching other pokemon play around while he simply watches, not seemingly intent on joining in on the fun. It's odd that he isn't as hyperactive as pokemon his age but that's just the type of guy he is.

Although this doesn't necessarily mean you can't pump him up to go on expeditions. Actually just say the word and he'll spring to action. He won't take the lead or become one of the most hyperactive person but he will follow around and try to help as much as he can. Despite being very laid back in his free time, he's seen to still be more agile and quick than most Chimchar's out there making him quite an asset. He isn't afraid to get down and dirty and can hold himself against a real fight.

Team: Zaru's planning to join a team who needs an extra member.
