I'd believe so- if you're interested in getting involved, there's plenty a house to choose from :)

What ones would you suggest? Can I get a summary of the events that've happened as well?

Not watched all of Game of Thrones, but I have seen enough to know that the Greyjoys aren't opposed to a female ruler, if she is sufficent to hold the Iron Islands, right?

Maybe- and you'd have competition in the Iron Islands for sure, in the form of the Harlaws- though do bear in mind, quite a few Greyjoys are now basically dead, and the house is a little in tatters.....though it could be recovered.

Otherwise, the Riverlands are available, and I'd highly recommend taking them- as well as Dorne and the North.

TLDR, the plot has mainly revolved around the southern Kingdoms for now- with Aerys III, the son of the disinherrited Daneys Targaryen (twin brother of Aegon X, the dead King that this RP started with) emerging back onto the throne in a lieu period where it was effectiely a free-for-all, a war that emerges between House Tyrell and House Crakehall, as well as a revolt in the Stormlands. As of now, the Tyrells are the closest to the "loyalist" throne in King's Landing, with Lord Garland Tyrell being the current Hand of the King (though he's left that to someone else in his stead), and his uncle, Ser Willas being the last of the Kingsguards left. They have held the city off against an attack by the Westermen, with some assistance from a pair of Targaryen sisters and their dragons who have decided to leave the Seven Kingdoms for the Stepstones- though it's come at the cost of several thousand soldiers and civilians, and Garland Tyrell getting wounded to merely get into the city. As of now, Garland is quietly leaving the capital for who knows where, and Aerys is currently unconscious after a serious headwound- with trouble brewing beyond the Wall too....oh, and there's plenty of (implied) fucking and people getting brutally fucking stabbed. So yeah, it's pretty mad :P

I kind of like the idea of raising a tattered house from the ruins, smiting our enemies, and coming not from behind our enemies, but from below, like good children of the Drowned God. Let them have their war. We shall regain our lands, and then strike hard at the weakened Mainlanders

What relation would my girl be to Valorion? If, any?

Name: Egwene Greyjoy
Age: 28
Seat: Iron Islands
Heir: (Younger cousin) Davros Greyjoy
Personality: Seeing her rather, failing household from a young age, Egwene grew up less...feminine than most, at least in tone. Wishing to be heard above her brothers and cousins, she took to the martial aspects of life at a young age, displaying her disdain for being treated like a woman when she stoved a boy's head in with a rock for his tactless and rather insultive flirting. After delivering several concussions and a few broken arms across her life, she has developed the reputation as being a woman to approch very carefully if you have romantic intentions. It is not that she looks down on the Ironborn warriors, as she tries hard to fit in with them whenever she can (or though not singing because she has a melodic singing voice, and that would bring more people to bash across the side of the head) but rather, wanting something a little more substantual than the usual fair.

While certainly one to advance her prowess in combat, she understands that there are more Theaters of war than simply the battlefield you fight in, with sword in hand. So she has tried to develop an understanding of military tactics. So far, she has a basic grasp, but hopes to become better with experience. Certainly able to mimic Valorion's fierce nature, she is not quite as....stupid as he is, able to read, and even write to a passable degree, but that was a skill developed as she grew out of her teenhood. The lack of mindless violence has led her to believe that The Wall is the most important part of Westros, for if the White Walkers break through, there will be nothing left to rule.
Biography: Born to Someguy Greyjoy, Egwene spent her childhood with a father who loved her enough to not show his dissapointment, but still not able to hide it completely. Egwene simply though this was the normal way to go about things, and so it did not bother her much. Her father's attitude changed, however, when a young boy tried to court her with all the subtlety of an axe. The boy was rewarded with a rock to the head, and several years of being scared of women in general.

To avoid a life of getting into fights where ever she could, her father decided to take advantage of her boyish and martial nature to get her property trained, leading to a woman of decent skill by the time she was a teen. However, as she became a teen, her beauty grew in, and several more men where injuired by her in their attempts to aggressively court her.

Not one without a hopeless crush, Egwene has watched Nalara Greyjoy, the 'She-Kraken' for some time, and has recently tried to secure herself a place aboard the Graceful Demise, for multiple reasons, but Nalara being the captian is the most promanant one.

Appearance:

Beauty as sharp as any blade, and with a tongue and occasionally arm to match. She is of avarage height for her age and gender, but does not let that get in the way of staring down people. Another thing she does not let get in the way, is her hair, since she keeps it mostly short, never below the shoulder.

Maybe a cousin, perhaps. The existing characters that aren't dead are also up for grabs- your girl could certainly become a big part of the Greyjoys...and also, it'll give House Harlaw something to do! :)

Good evening Westeros!
I would love to be a part of this RP, but KabenSaal managed to snipe House Greyjoy :( Is there any other option besides House Tully?
Also, I've read the books and I've watched most of the TV show, but I'm not super knowledgeable on every little detail and every relationship between the hundreds of characters and houses. Would i still be able to enjoy this RP and deliver good posts?

Thanks in advance

Egwene isn't the King (or Queen) of the Iron Islands. So I don't see why you can't make a Greyjoy. Or pick up one of the currently npc Greyjoys.

Or....just have Egwene. I didn't look at the classification until just now, and I am so not confident enough to RP in an Advanced place.

I would avoid making more Iron Islanders- two is enough :D As for houses, Stark should really, really be taken, or Martell. The Riverlands need to be taken too :D .....

Do stay- it's Advanced, but honestly, I think this RP just needs fresh blood to be drawn keen people to get involved. There are some stupidly long posts, but they came from collabs that spiralled out of control, and they make for some pretty wonderful reading :D So yeah, don't let that put you off- if you're keen on GoT, get in :)

Also, in regards to a Stark CS, you might have to use what is already there- or at least, perhaps play from a new OC in the Stark family that could take over, for example. Use their lead- then make your own impression upon it, perhaps?
