Okay standard fight, winner is declared when opponent dies, is incapacitated or gives up. Happy for judge intervention at any given time if we cant come to an agreement on anything or need a victory decision.

No auto-hitting, super speed or obnoxious post cutting.

Pirate King's Cove

Main Deck: 50x30 feet. Surrounding Area: 150x200 feet of land space.

Ship is resilient but somewhat destructible, water surrounding the ship inside the cover is very shallow only 8 feet deep at the very middle and even more shallow at the edges. Cannons on deck still work. No magical properties.




When the pirate king arrived here, the bandits waiting for him already knew who he was and how much treasure he had aboard. They outnumbered his crew 200 to 40, but the Pirate King would not run, partly because of his pride and partly because of how much loot he would have to give up if he surrendered. The ambush was a drawn out a bloody affair and despite the numbers the more skilled crew of the pirate King managed to even out the numbers very quickly. With only the pirate king and the chief bandit left. They fought on deck, with hate and rage, having lost their entire crews. The final moment of the fight was when the chief bandit casted some demonic magic at the deck to create a huge explosion, which killed them both instantly. The cost of the spell was that the demon would then erase the names and legacy of the Bandits and the Pirates from history, so nobody would know their names. The largely damaged ship now remains at the cove forever, waiting for the new pirate king to take the helm.

@Athinar Hey, really enjoying this fight so far, I hope you are too. I generally really like your posting style its competitive and fair.

I just had one tiny request, I realize that your guy has currently doubled his durability but would he not take a bit more damage from a direct flame explosion (prepped over two posts) at close range? I'm not expecting him to be seriously injured or killed but beyond his enhanced durability I cant really see leather clothes being that much of a defense against magical fire. This is only going by the picture you've given me and the Character sheet doesn't specify any armor he's wearing so I can only take it as him wearing a stylish jacket.

I apologise in advance if there is a detail I've missed though.

Can you edit your post to reflect a more reasonable level of damage? Apart from that detail everything else is absolutely fine.

@Dynamo Frokane Ah, okay. I was assuming that the fire is of, say, gas fire intensity, and thus, leather would work pretty well against it. But I shall do as you ask.

@Athinar So where is Athinar standing at this point?

and rodetta hasnt climed the stairs, shes still on the main deck in front of the hole in the floor, so I take it he fired the cannon at her?

@Dynamo Frokane Athinar is on the fallen mast, above the half-deck (where the wheel was). If she was still at the hole, he would've taken the shot at the mast.

@AthinarIs he in front of her or behind her? and I take it hes shooting at the mast to have it fall on her?

@Dynamo Frokane If she's still at the hole, he's in front of her, and he shot the mast so she would be forced into combat on the beam, or be roasted/suffocated alive on the maindeck under canvas.

Not saying you'll run into any problems, but you're supposed to have one so they can A.OK Rilla when he gets around to sorting things out, so we don't have boosting or anything weird going down.

Yeah you need one from the start, that's basically what makes a ranked fight official, as anyone can -say- a fight is ranked. I suspect some people have been playing fast and loose with this rule, which is bad form, because there's no one looking over fights and making sure people aren't fucking over new guys, to reap up easy pointz.
