Name: Sanguine Ithil. (decided to use my usual online name since, you know...)
Age: 24.
Race: Pureblood Vampire.
Class: 30 Mage, 30 Necromancer, 30 Summoner, 10 Enchanter. (basically, a character heavily based on summoning with some powerful mage spells and weak buffs/debuffs.)
Gear: As expected of a necromancer, her weapon of choice is a necromantic tome. Though at times she will switch to an unholy staff if she wants to boost her direct magic damage rather than her summoning and support magic.
Appearance:

NPC's:

Butler Jeeves:
Always composed and loyal to a fault. Jeeves started out as a simple soldier, but quickly gained fame through his strength and cold and calculating battle strategy. The man quickly moved up the ranks fighting in the name of his lady Sanguine, and gained his own following of several dozen men. Even when Sanguine was outed as a vampire, he remained loyal to his charge. This earned him a form of early retirement most soldiers could only dream of. He was to be turned into a living familiar. Remaining human, but never ageing. He now oversees the servants in the household, training them to be warriors on top of maids, making even the servants in the tomb to be feared by would be enemies. Despite his more passive role, however, one would be foolish to think that he has lost his touch. While not the strongest general by far, he can still easily hold his own against a large squad of normal soldiers.

House Steward Daniëlle Belrose de Chauvelin:
Daniëlle was once a powerful vampire lord of her own, with many a servant and soldier fighting for her. She was known for her brutality and blood lust, people hiding away in fear by just rumours of her appearing in the area. However all of that changed when one day she suddenly just disappeared. In truth, of course, she hadn't disappeared. Instead, Daniëlle had challenged another vampire; Sanguine. After a hard-fought battle the vampire elder had to finally admit defeat, realizing that Sanguine was someone she could never defeat or control. Not only that, but she found out that long ago it was Sanguine that had created her in the first place. So she swore loyalty to the victor, knowing that following such a strong pureblood vampire as well as her creator would surely lead her to greatness as well. Today she oversees the generals as the house steward, demanding loyalty through her strength and strict adherence to the rules set by their masters. Not to mention her distant blood ties to the guild master herself.

Spymaster Ryltar Corobel: (Made by former general Karon Blackhammer.)
Ryltar is a male drow, rumoured to be the guild's spymaster. Though those are only rumours, as no one has actually caught him in the act, and barely anyone outside of the guild has even seen him. A good spy keeps himself hidden after all. The man is an expert at information gathering with a team of 10 spies, 2 jailers and 1 interrogator under his command. His complete face is even a mystery to anyone but his creator, as Karon liked 'edgy' things and made the drow the brooding and secretive type. And thus he always covers most of his face with what you could assume resembles ninja head garments.

Some info on the power structure:

The guild master stands at the top of course. Below that came the 7 generals, of which only your character is left. Below that came the other players, though none of them are left obviously. Below that comes Daniëlle, kind of a main guild management npc in the game, but the head of all npc's in the new world. Below that come the 7 npc heads. They're sub-management npc's for offense, defense, guild bank, interior/exterior design of the guild, maids/servants, intelligence/information, and the guild's monster arena. These npc's are all also strong fighters with their own skills/spells and function as floor guardians of the 7 floors of the tomb of nazarick. And finally below them are a few hundred other npc's. Like maids, monsters, soldiers, etc.

Also, I figured you could think up npc's for the offense and defense positions at least? And if you happen to have idea's for any of the other important npc's I'm all ears of course. :)

Name: Oliver de Katze
Age: 22
Race: Human
Class: Paladin(30), Cleric(30), Rogue(15), Slayer(25)
Appearance:

Sorry about picture for ants, can't find a larger one. Also: He doesn't wield a lance. He's got a bigass sword, minus all the dings and chips, and a kukri. Shitty site formatting is shitty, or that would just be a nice picture.

NPCs

Siegemaster Garreth Aurelien: If Black Iron Tarkus and Havel The Rock adopted a black baby and raised him with their roommate Knight Lautrec of Carim, and then sent him off to the world's best university to get a PhD in siege warfare, you'd get Garreth. A master of defensive strategy, and a conniving bastard at the best of times, he's the most brutally efficient, and arguably the best, strategist and general available to the Guild, especially when it comes to defending things. As an offensive advisor, he refuses to offer insight on anything other than sieges, where he also excels. He likes to wear bulky, heavy armour, carries a tower shield and a spear, and refuses to go anywhere on a mount, doubly so if there's going to be fighting.

Bannerlord Jan Bielski: A former Hussar Banner Commander, Jan's shrewd, ruthless command of countless battlefields, and his peerless martial skill, won him the position as the Guild's offensive strategist. One of the few willing to refute the claim that Garreth is the better general, his string of victories is long and unbroken, and it seems that winning more glorious victories is the only thing that can keep him calm, as if it might prove him the better warrior. His favourite tactic of massed cavalry charges by heavily-armed and well-trained hussars wearing eagle-feathered wings painted in the Guild's colours has broken the spirit and the bodies of many an enemy force. Lifting the sieges that Garreth is so fond of digging himself into is Jan's most dearly beloved pastime, and he will only grudgingly concede the field when his enemies begin squirrelling themselves away behind walls higher and thicker than any horseman can get over or through.

Marquess Greblotz Goldmane: A goblin decended from a long line of surprisingly promiscuous greenskins, Greblotz has inherited a surprising number of strange traits, such as his shock of blond hair, unusual height, and his abnormal affinities for fire magic, and hoarding. The patches of brilliant ruby scales that he takes great care to conceal beneath his robe are only confirmation that there is something strange about this goblin. His wide variety of hereditary talents, combined with a horrific lust for treasure, and ceaseless ambition, and tempered by a shocking laziness, propelled him effortlessly into the position of Guild bank manager. He quickly picked out his own title and made himself a crown to go with it. When not raging about how the Guild's members are spending far too much money, his favourite hobbies include lounging in the vault on piles of gold, and "collecting" valuables for safekeeping in said vault.

Hausgeist Raymond von Katze (He wears a symbol of Pelor, not Avacyn): Once a wrathful poltergeist who'd long forgotten who he was and why he was still around, Raymond was discovered by Oliver during his early days in the Guild. Oliver recognized the poltergeist's unique flair and managed to communicate with the spirit, inviting him back to the Guild, rather than have the poltergeist continue to torment hapless adventurers. Once back at the Guild hall, the two determined that the ghost was indeed Raymond von Katze, a close friend of Oliver's grandfather Roland and a man with a head for style. In his day, Raymond was often accused of being little more than a fop, or a dandy, his insistence on fashion driving many far away from him, however that was all just a front to disguise his peerless skill as a duellist. A whole swathe was cut through the local nobility whenever he went on trips, and he went on such adventures often, to keep up on anything considered fashionable. As a poltergeist he is even better equipped to deal with the fashionable side of things, and happily took to decorating the Guild's holdings. He is still more than happy to duel anyone who asks, and enjoys giving pointers to new members in his free time...

Beastmaster Lanius, The Monster of Azerlisia: Lanius is a skilled warrior, and an even better monster tamer. She claims to have spent her youth wandering the mountains, finding strange beasts, and turning them on people she decided she didn't like. Whether or not it's true, it does seem believable. The woman holds little as sacred, and won't even say as much to most. She obviously prefers to spend her days tending the various abominations she's collected for the Guild, rather than put up with the presence of other people. On occasion, when the mood strikes her, she indulges the incredibly twisted pleasure of trying to create new monsters to throw at incoming adventurers. Her favourite accomplishment is the Orcticore, the horrific crossing of orcs and manticores, no one is sure how she managed it, or why the beasts are still alive. It seems to be largely the same as a Manticore, to those not paying attention. It's still a red lion with giant bat wings and a scorpion's tail, but where its head should be, is the upper body of an orc, covered in muscle and filled with rage. The orc has it's own smaller set of bat wings, and while it only has one set of razor-sharp fangs, its tusks are larger, and grow throughout its life. No one knows how long a Orcticore can live, but they mature so rapidly as to be horrifying. They only seem to listen to Lanius, and will happily turn on even their own family, so have to be unleashed one at a time, but it's proven more than enough for plenty of adventurers.

How am I doing?

Npc's don't really have a background in the traditional sense. I mean, they're npc's that you created for guild functionality. They're basically enemies with standard game AI that possible assailants would have to fight to get to the main guild areas. That being said, since npc's are customizable, you could say those bits of text are just flavour text descriptions you gave them when creating them. :P

And to be honest, a description like that might be good. As their personality in our rp would be determined by that flavour text. I will probably write something similar for the npc's I create. :)

Also, please don't forget that this rp will have a D&D-like setting. As in, there's a lot of fantasy involved. Demons, angels, orcs, dragons, magic outrageously unpractical gear giving huge defensive/offensive bonuses because game mechanics, adventurers getting 'quests', and all that jazz. Not saying you should change your characters. I already kinda figured you would go with a more historically accurate style. Just making sure you know what kind of rp it is. :P

EDIT:
A note on your weapon of choice. That's a Zweihander. My favourite realistic 2-handed melee weapon. :)

Oh and one more thing: The npc's literally see us as their creators. As in, we're almost like gods to them weren't it for our mortality and not residing in the realm of the gods. "Supreme beings" somewhere between gods and mortals you could say. Of course that isn't the case...we're just normal players of a game that got transferred into hugely powerful, but still mortal bodies. But that's how they see us. You can see it as, while the npc's weren't conscious during the game's time they will remember that time when they become real. Just interpreting it as if the game world was also real.

And I added some 'flavour text' for my 2 npc's so far as well.

You can't tell me that winged hussars aren't badass as fuck, even in a fantasy setting with magic and shit. :P

My weapon of choice is a kukri. That Mastodon Greatsword is as large as Oliver is tall and probably weighs pretty close to what he does, too. He spent levels and levels learning how to wield it properly until he could multi-class so he wouldn't have to.

I will work on a couple more NPCs if I have time today. Things are going to be hectic until I get back to Edmonton.

Ah, reading the start of your post...I guess I should have explained a little more clearly. The tomb of Nazarick is huge... The armoury, or to be more precise, the guild bank, wouldn't be on the same floor as the throne hall. Security and all that. So he wouldn't have heard her if he's in the bank. That being said, let's just say they used guild voice chat or something. :) Yay game logic. ^^

But yea, imagine each floor of the place being about as big as your average mansion. The throne hall takes up about half of the 4th floor. In order I would say it's arranged like this:

1st and 2nd: Offence and Defence. Basically the soldiers and siege equipment and such reside here. It's made up of two buildings with two floors each, surrounded by walls and the like. This is the only part of the tomb that's above ground.
3rd: The monster Arena. Strategically enemies would have to go through it and fight hordes of monsters before they could get to any good part of the tomb.
4th: The throne hall. It also has a large library with some crafting stations like spellcraft, alchemy and enchanting.
5th: Houses the servants. It also has a large kitchen, and a separate room with all kinds of other crafting stations. Woodworking, blacksmithing, etc.
6th: Intelligence/Information. This is basically the dungeon where prisoners were taken and where the spies and such operate from.
7th: This floor can only be teleported to by, or in the company of high ranking guild members. Such as our characters. It doesn't have a direct connection with the rest of the tomb for security reasons.

Arena master: Beastmaster Lanius, The Monster of Azerlisia. Lanius is a skilled warrior, and an even better monster tamer.
