Being an image of me, his mind and my mind involuntarily made a connection just before he was consumed, because his mind wanted to preserve itself. He became tiny section of my mind which was not technically Evil Spirit, or anything at all.
-I was created as a last-ditch effort to preserve Spirit's goodness. This little part of Spirit's mind, which he could not eradicate, saw this as a threat and attempted to recreate Evil Spirit. We worked together to repress that and made it think that I was not a threat. It returned to dormancy. We then attempted to make it not see anything as a threat.
-Spirit- However, when Spectre split off, as I was being fixed, his part in the repression was severed, which we did not expect. Therefore, that part of my mind did the same thing I had done before--it created a new form in a last-ditch effort to preserve my evil side. This new form has taken on the properties of a DarkSoul in addition to control of light and shadow.
-He has the personality and memories of Evil Spirit.

And unfortunately, Tempo and Rhythm are corrupted by the Dark Power at the moment. Connections restored, they have been pulled to the side of evil and consumed by their DarkSouls.

Is this something you've known about for a while?

-Spirit- No. My mind did most of this automatically. I only became a voluntary factor in the process when I was turned evil. It only took a matter of minutes to do all that we said afterwards, and then we thought that it was done for and that it would even eventually disappear. Luck was not on our side.
