Might as well post my character but then I'll edit Evvie into my post a little later, like the weekend or something. She'll be tough, so Niks can only stand a decent shot with his horrible trickery.
EDIT: All I changed was I took the extra "i" out of Ria's name. I don't know how to pronounce her name with two i's.
I'm introducing Dunnaman here as an optional guy you can fight, but I want y'all to choose the other characters that I bring in. Fill out the roleplay with a couple bosses or roaming fighters.
I'm trying to sort out which characters I did and didn't introduce during each year I've been here. To organize which characters actually do and don't get fights.
@Starfall Former Cheerleader and Gymnast, became a superhuman during The Event. Brought to her a queer ability to control projectiles in all forms. She used this power to become the sidekick to Captain Explosion, she bought RPGs, grenade launchers and all other sorts of weapons to compensate for her lack of any real superhuman physical ability. She operated under the name of Lady Dynamite.
When Captain Explosion went rogue, she changed her name from Lady Dynamite to Bubblegum Cherry Pop for undisclosed reasons and began using an incredibly complex weapon created by the US government designed to combat Captain Explosion. This weapon fires rockets of four sizes.
The largest rocket that she fires weighs 900 lbs and she can ride it like a surfboard. Using this weapon, a jetpack, and retractable roller skates she is a hero for hire, always on the hunt for her former partner.
Looking at leeroy's roster there's no evidence that character is an eye stabber, given all we know is his name, unless you know the character from somewhere else.
For some reason I usually hate characters who wear sunglasses. Dodging a serial eye stabber might be better because you know where the attack will come from much easier and dodge it. In one of my settings there's a guy named Margo the Disembowler so his opponent knows to guard his stomach when he couldn't see where the attack would hit. Margo is kind of stupid and predictable that way.
@Divinity Benedict Longinus, also known as Bennett also known as Doppler, also known as Long Ben.
In a past life he was a God of Greed. His envy of others possessions was so great that he tried to steal the powers from greater gods.
This angered the gods and his power was stripped from him, and he was stricken down to reincarnate as a mortal for all eternity.
Benedict is the most recent reincarnation, and the greedy envious personality of the Greed God still lingers strongly.
When The Event took place, the Greed God's power was returned, at least to some degree.
Benny steals the power and visage of the person he is fighting.
Almost.
When he touches your flesh with his flesh, his face and body take on your features. But instead of just taking them, it merges them with his own, giving him a haunting and uncanny visage.
As the theft of your visage is incomplete, so is the theft of your power. It isn't permanent, he always needs to hunt for more supers to leech off of. Nor is it a perfect facsimile of the power.
Fire breathers who can create dragons with their flame give him the ability to breathe fire to the same degree, but not as refined or practiced. Obviously powers that he has experienced more than once are easier.
Doppler is his current alias, but originally it was Doppelganger. He shortened it for personal reasons.
Put bluntly, Blythe is a brick (house!). She’s mighty mighty, letting it all hang out, and it is also fact that she is stacked, and ain’t holding nothing back, but then again, it's hard for anyone her size to hold anything back. Beyond her height, no matter what she wears it's plain to see that Blythe is amazonian, a statuesque beauty carved from the finest materials, sculpted into a solid tower of muscle, and then filled with jello in all the right places. While Blythe is built like a pro wrestler, she cuts an undeniably feminine silhouette; flaring hips, thick thighs, a full, heaving bosom, and a round behind, every inch of taut, rock-hard muscle stretched across her frame is matched by soft, alluring curves, as perfectly as if they were crafted by the hands of a deity. Not to say that she's not cute, either! Bright, big, bold amber eyes, wide and mischievous, set in a soft, round, bronze face, as beautiful and innocent as a newborn's, framed by an unruly mane of curly raven locks, hanging to the small of her back.
Blythe decided long ago to focus all of her pain and all of the anger she felt at the world around her and bury it beneath a smile. It was more than the fact that none of it was her fault: nothing was her fault at all. She wasn't going through this because she was a bad girl. She was a perfect being in an imperfect world that would never recognize or even comprehend her full potential -- no, a world that was not even worthy of her full potential So she was going to smile. And like the bouncer with the great hair had said, she was going to be nice.
Put simply, Blythe is a sadist with a superiority complex. A harsh upbringing and an early indoctrination into violence helped her to realize that what she had longed for all her life was indeed the basest of human contact: the contact of flesh on flesh, bone on bone as she beat the inferiority out of all of those beneath her. At last, she had a way to prove her superiority, and to ensure those unworthy of her knew full well how much better she was than any of them. The most important lesson she has learned over the course of her short life is that those who fight the hardest are those with something to lose, those at the height of their emotions, be they from anger, loss, pain or betrayal, and to that end Blythe sees everyone around her as an enemy, but woe unto her allies: her targets will die suffering, but Blythe fantasizes constantly of the day when those closest to her die screaming, all of them wallowing in their own blood, tears, and innards after Blythe has taken everything from them.
Her Power
Ultimate Muscle - Blythe is a powerful metahuman with complete control over her musculoskeletal system, an ability most often used to greatly increase her size, strength, and durability. Blythe is likewise capable of reattaching or regenerating vast amounts of damaged tissue, including limbs and bones, as well as rapidly regenerating from most wounds. Blythe has yet to find a size limit for her growth, but thus far the largest she has grown has been roughly 10’ tall. Likewise, Blythe can strengthen her muscles through natural exercise as well as direct manipulation, meaning that (given enough time) her strength can also increase without limit.
PhenomenalCosmicPower - Blythe's is capable of enhancing her muscles, granting them superhuman power and durability. Naturally this allows for super-strength and super-speed, while also preventing muscle tears and similar injuries from stress or external forces. Similarly, these enhancements allow her to thicken her muscle fibers, making them -- and by extension, Blythe herself -- extremely resistant to damage, capable of withstanding cuts, punctures, and incredible impacts. Should she suffer any actual damage, she is able to rapidly regenerate lost tissue, or even growing new muscles where they don't (or shouldn't) exist. Finally, Blythe is able to instantly eliminate fatigue poisons from her musculature, granting her infinite endurance. As one would expect, Blythe is naturally immune to any diseases and afflictions of the muscular structure.
Dem Bones - Given her ability to expand her muscle mass, it follows that Blythe is able to augment her skeleton to supplement the growth. As such she is capable of altering the shape, size, density, and number of her bones as she sees fit. Naturally, in keeping with her abilities she utilizes ability this to maintain an extremely damage resistant baseline by way of rendering her bones nigh unbreakable, though she is actually capable of further enhancing her own offenses and defenses by forcing her bones to grow through her skin (or growing new ones) to form armor or spikes. Much like her musculature, Blythe is capable of rapidly regenerating and/or replacing lost bone mass, and is immune to all bone-related diseases and afflictions.
Tenacious B - Rapidly altering her musculoskeletal structure willy-nilly would wreak havoc on Blythe's insides if it weren't for her body's ability to naturally adjust to a constantly shifting physiological landscape. While she possesses no conscious control over this ability, her internal organs automatically make the necessary adjustments to sustain her changes in size and stature, and are naturally tougher than a baseline humans, a necessary evolution to prevent herself from crushing her own innards during a bout of rapid expansion. That said, Blythe's organs are not as tough as the rest of her, and, beyond her own muscles and bones, cannot be reinforced. This of course leads to the paradox of external damage piercing her skin, but not the muscle beneath.
Melty Blood - Blythe is capable of forcefully expelling her blood from her body in the form of a powerful, crimson energy she calls Ruby Flash. Able to emit these flashes of energy from any portion of her body, Blythe can shape and mold this energy through willpower alone, allowing it to take on many shapes and forms. With this 'blood energy', Blythe has been able to fashion ropes and whips of incredible tensile strength, claws, gauntlets, weapons, solid armor, costumes, and even sticky, 'webbing' that she occasionally uses for locomotion and/or restraint in a manner quite similar to a certain friendly neighborhood superhero. Furthermore, the nature of Blythe's energized blood allows her to heal from most wounds at an accelerated rate, to survive without food, water or oxygen for extended periods, and to heal instantly by consuming blood (aside from her own). Additionally, this empowered blood grants Blythe a complete immunity to blood-borne diseases, poisons, and exsanguination, as well as the ability to transform into an Exemplar, a living embodiment of Vorsours' power.
Genetic Memory - Vorsours brought with her the memories of her last four near-Exemplars, Shimmer, Harley Powers and Noemi Honda, in turn gifting Blythe with all of their combat experience and skills. As a result, Blythe possesses skills and knowledge well beyond her years, including proficiency in judo, sanshou, mixed-martial arts, kajukenbo, krav maga, and pro-wrestling, as well as advanced stealth techniques and olympic-level gymnastics training as well as exotic dancing and bartending.
Her Power
To Outrage - Not to offend, but to overcome. Vorsours grants to every host the ability to assume the form of Her avatar, thickening the blood, distorting the coloration of the body's pigment of Her host, transforming them into a black-skinned, raven-haired beast, a form known as Outrage. In the past, the use of Her power even caused the host's muscles, skin, and even their bones to expand, but this only occurred in imperfect vessels, as their bodies expanded in an attempt to contain her power (Blythe could expand her size in such a manner as well if she chose to do so, but would gain no strength benefit from it due to the nature of her powers). As Her avatar, Vorsours' hosts are also granted vastly enhanced physical strength (with a baseline lifting strength of several hundred tons), durability, and endurance -- the Outrage avatar is capable of surviving multiple tonnages of force on impact, explosions, sustained heavy arms fire and falls from great heights with only minimal to moderate harm to her person. Furthermore, Outrage is largely resistant to mental probes and most psionic scans of any kind, save for surface scans which would indeed reveal a second and highly advanced intellect beneath the host's own. Powerful psychics probing deeper would find themselves facing down a powerful intellect, but with no mental powers of her own, Vorsours instead relies willpower to attempt to force intruders out, or else prevent any would be intruders from taking hold of Her host body. Counter to Blythe's Ruby Flashes, Outrage is also capable of emitting energized blood in the form of powerful shockwaves, either extending from her body in all directions, or directed through the movement of her hands.
To Overrun - Not to conquer, but to exceed. As the Goddess of Power, Vorsours is never to be outdone, neither in strength, nor speed. Refusing to sacrifice one for the other, the Outrage is also capable of increasing the flow of the energized blood through Her body, rapidly increasing delivery of oxygen and energy to her muscles and brain to grant herself advanced greatly-enhanced superhuman reflexes, speed and agility over Her host body's already considerable abilities. During this 'overclock', the Outrage’s outward appearance undergoes wild changes, her skin taking on a blood red hue as her blood vessels dilate wildly. While not capable of attaining the inhuman velocities of metahuman super-speeders, 'Overrun' is still capable of moving faster than the eye can see in extremely short bursts -- leaps or single steps at most. As a result of the vastly increased pressure on the blood inside her body, Blythe's 'ruby flashes' exit her body with far more force than usual while she is in her 'Overrun' form.
To Oppose - Not to battle, but to stand against. The nature of Blythe's energized blood, combined with Vorsours' raw power allows Outrage to literally level the playing field against most any opponent she faces while simultaneously further enhancing her already considerable durability. When grappling against stronger foes, stopping an oncoming train, pressing back against heavy objects, or withstanding heavy impacts, Outrage's blood takes on the properties of a dilatant, acting as a shear-thickening fluid to meet the forces applied against it with an equal and opposing force. As such, Outrage's strength is theoretically without limit, dependent on the strength measured against her. Recently, Vorsours has learned to further bolster her defenses by directing more blood into her muscles, using Her lifesblood’s impact-deadening properties to greatly strengthen her durability, or coating her body in a layer of energized blood that acts as an impact-deadening barrier to provide additional protection against energy attacks. Furthermore (and much to Vorsours’ chagrin), Blythe has been able to exceed Vorsours’ own strength limits; while Vorsours can only match power measured against Her, Blythe can then utilize her control over her musculoskeletal structure to further boost her strength beyond the new baselines Vorsours has established, and through continued exercise, make those increases permanent.
To Overflow - Not to exceed, but to empower. As the goddess of power, Vorsours' blood is capable of boosting the natural abilities of any superhumans who come into contact with it (typically through ingestion), as well as granting new superpowers to non-empowered entities. Vorsours' blood acts as a stable, safe, completely 'natural', and long-lasting metahuman enhancement agent, boosting metahuman abilities, or in normal humans, granting them greater strength, speed, endurance, and a limited-degree of regeneration. While the boons eventually wear off (within roughly 48 hours for a metahuman, or within 3 hours for a normal human), they can be reapplied repeatedly with few side effects.
Equipment
AR-MRS00 Unit "Mars": The first prototype in a line of mass-produced personal powered armor suits, the Mars Powered Armor is designed as a multi-role unit, capable of engaging a variety of targets at multiple ranges, and as such can be fitted with numerous configurations and loadouts specific to the intended mission at hand, from scouting and recon, to infiltration and sabotage, to direct engagement. Fitted with Mako-Infused Neo-Titanium armor plating reinforced by Mako-Infused Kevlar/Flexsteel-weave sheathing with overlapping ceramic inlays, Blythe's has been model stripped of all systems save for its Pneumatic Drive System and Sister-6 Sensor Array, and instead fitted with microchannels allowing her to spread her blood throughout and across her armored suit, exponentially increasing its durability. The Pneumatic Drive is a hybridized power-suit system that functions in unison with the operator's own physiology to drastically increase their strength. Consisting of a series of ultracompact pneumatic drives woven together into a pattern resembling a humanoid muscular structure, the 'muscles' inside the suit follow the movements of the operator, dramatically increasing the body's power output with little to no effort. Meanwhile the Sister-6 is a powerful sensor array fitted into the helmet of the Mars Unit, allowing for optimal scanning and monitoring in a multitude of situations and environments. Fitted with long-range optic sensors, night vision, infra-red, a directional microphone, ether-mapping, target-tracking, threat-identification, thermal-imaging, sonar and motion-detecting equipment as well as an oxygen-recycling system, and HUD targeting display, the Sister-6's sensors are among the most powerful available to ShinRa Troops.
@Negatomsk Well I can't say I hate the sheet, in fact I quite like it, but you are terribly vague with the limits of her ability. As it stands, she's infinitely strong and infinitely fast with infinite regenerative ability and infinite endurance. It seems that her only weakness is the inevitable heat death of the universe, and even that would be a slow process.
Could you give me a range where she'll be fighting at? Since we can't have someone who's capable of erasing universes with a flex of her left bicep roaming around.
@LeeRoy Gah, of all the things I meticulously checked over, I forgot her starting baseline... Blythe starts at roughly 100 tons lifting capacity, and every strength increase from that point forward is directly measured against the forces leveled against her, i.e. if someone attacks her with 200 tons of force, Blythe's strength increases to match that attack, for however long it is measured against her. The instant increases in strength are temporary, for Blythe to permanently increase her strength she needs to work out like anyone else, but that would entail having a powerful force measured against her constantly and repeatedly while she works up her new baseline to match it. In other words, an infinite increase would require constant and ever increasing amounts of force, constantly applied over days, if not weeks or months.
