@Zelosse I am ambivalent regarding the question of a new thread, provided that all else remains contiguous. Also, I'm working on a post... finally. It's been a madhouse... of neurotic nautiluses and cantaloupe fries.
@Lightbox Because I fear she has developed into nothing but a mascot whose only redeeming feature seems to be her foxyness. I want her to have some development, some real character.

Then develop her character past her appearance. The fact that perhaps people only concentrate on her fox appearance could be a good defining point in development, perhaps she doesn't like that people don't see the real her? Perhaps she feels she needs to prove she can be of real assistance and that she is more than just a fox looking person. Perhaps she wants to get stronger after the glitch fixers so she can protect herself shoud they come for her again or something similar?
There are myriad way to progress character development without necessariy having to take off the ears. Development is more often about adding rather than taking away of course :) having flaws or things they dislike is integral to a well rounded character.
