I am currently studying Safety and Security Management and I intend to join the reserves in a month. Hopefully after that I will be able to enlist in the army. I hate rules in these kind of threads.. just don't be an asshole to me.

• Be respectful. I cuss a lot but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna be respectful to you.
• I RP at a casual to advanced level. God, I hate how I label myself advanced. Look don't be put off by this. I RP with anyone at any length of posts. Just don't do one liners and write something that I can work with. Ignore the rest.
• Please pay attention to spelling and grammar. Mistakes are human but I don't want to spend my day deciphering your post. English is my second language too, but I don't think that's a good excuse to not put in some effort.
• Be prepared to converse. I wanna know what you think of my character(s), the plot, and future possibilities plotwise. I don't want to know about your day. It's fine to mention it, and if I ask then feel free to explain, but keep private things private.
• Be involved in the plot - I don't want to be the only one putting forth new ideas, and it's a real problem to me even if the setting is really good. It just doesn't work for me.
• I don't have limits. Well probably I do but I don't know about any. Anything goes.
• I hate it when people make me guess about what they want - if you want to include something in the RP, tell me.
• I play OC only. And I want you to do the same.
• I mostly play males but as you can see in the character list you'll find I also play females.

Are you willing to do an apocalypse (most like zombie apocalypse) where we start at the beginning of the what-ever-you-want-to-be apocalypse? Or we could do Viking or Victorian era and make a plot based on that?

Hello there.

I haven't picked up many non-fandom based RP but I feel like you and I could click. As a disclaimer, I am a full time college student so I may only be able to post 1-2 times a week. There are other advanced roleplays going on but I try my best to be fair and not play favorites with partners since that just leads to drama. Momma want not drama, thank you very much.

Ahem.

My posts tend to be upwards of 4-5 paragraphs. The minimum I tend to give is 4-5 paragraphs but I can easily write more. I think writing more is better than writing less. At the same time, I try to ensure I'm not writing about pointless fluff or prose. Themes are fun to develop, same with metaphors and the like. Did I mention my major is English? It is. And it's both awesome and exhausting. I'm also trying to seek a part time job or an internship but so far, no luck. But be aware if I do get something, at some point (please) it will further limit my activity but I am doing my best to be more active on here like I was a year or two back.

Now in terms of what interested me? I think Victorian would be a fun era to explore. It has different social norms and expectations. I did take a Gothic Lit. class in the fall and I had a lot of fun with it. I also found myself enjoying both American and British authors of the time so I feel that also helps with my knowledge. Of course there is Google. And I have to admit the Sherlock Holmes films with RDJ are another inspiration for me. I'm not looking for the fandom since you aren't into that, but that is the aesthetic that springs to mind so do correct me if you're on a different page.

Low fantasy in a school setting might also work if Victorian doesn't. I also think with Victorian, we could add some fantasy elements, if we did want some kind of a detective duo dynamic. I am also fond of mixing fantasy medieval with modern, in the premise of people going from one would to another, usually on some epic quest. I did have fun with a RP many moons ago where two strangers were just swept into a fantasy world and sent ons some journey/quest. It was fun while it lasted.

Post-apoc doesn't appeal much to me. And sci-fi can be hit or miss. I'm more into cyberpunk than say aliens or biological testing, for example.

At any rate, I'm trying to be selective about the RPs I add on because I know time is already limited but I thought I'd contact you to see if anything can be had.
