I don't know about the rest of you, but every other few weeks Marvel Comics is announcing some new team title with a handful of unlikely teammates being thrown into intense situations. I wanna do something like that but with a twist. You can put your own spin on a character. Make it like a reinterpretation meant for tv or a movie, take inspiration from whatever material you like. I've got a few 3rd and 4th string favorites I might try and work with but I'm gonna wait and see what kind of interest this builds before settling on a character. We could do a Smallville take on the universe and have the generations of heroes developing with folks like Reed Richards and Tony Stark already out of college and with powers/wealth to do the unimaginable while Spiderman, the Human Torch, and Iceman could all be students at Midtown High. Whatever the case I'll figure up a reason for the group of heroes to meet, a mutual enemy or goal, and then go from there with the CS's, OOC, and IC. If you want to go ahead and do a write up for a CS for earlier approval it'll need to look something like this...

Anybody I'm willing to accept. Basically if the CS is good and you have a firm grasp of how you want to use a cannon character differently then I'll accept it. You copy/paste a bunch of useless crap from some wiki site and I won't bother looking over it all.

So by remaking the Marvel Universe could we essentially change genders, alignments, race. That sort of thing? So make Captain America an evil, latino-american, female for example? Not saying I'm going to do that though. Captain America = not my favorite superhero...

Yeah that's generally the idea. You know how the Ultimate Marvel Universe is different? It could be like that and there could be a ton of extremes or it could be like the Ultimate Universe before people starting getting killed on a regular basis.

Chances are we have a female take on Cloak from Cloak & Dagger, and I'm thinking of either a more anti-hero version of Whirlwind, Stingray, or Thunderstrike...

What age range are you looking for for this new team? Teens? Early to mid 20's? No preference?

Might be cool to try. I've only got a few ideas of who I would want to play, but they could all be very well done if I can pull them off.

Age range doesn't matter, like I said this will be in impromptu team-up essentially making us all part of a new team within the Marvel Universe. I'm honestly going through some 5th and 6th string characters now.... my God the gold just laying around. Red Wolf? Sold. Jack of Hearts? Forgot how cool that guy was... I'm also tempted to go Ultimate and do something with Rick Jones...

Yeah, everytime I begin to settle on one character one or two ideas pop up in my head. So far I've thought of doing Karma with different powers, Aurora, Sasquatch, and even doing a mash-up of sorts giving Frank Castle some powers...

I'm presently looking at the Constrictor... I REALLY can't wait to see who some of you choose.

Sasquatch was always cool and had the whole Hulk thing going as a scientist underneath all the fur and muscles. IDK about giving Frank powers though, last time they turned him into Frankenstein and the time before that he had orange glow paint on his forehead and weird demon killing guns...
