This is a sci-fi roleplay where you take on the role of some kind of soldier of fortune, mercenary, or other for-hire type who has been hired by an unknown corporation to do mercenary work in space. So you decide to join up and make some money, probably kill some people. You know, usual merc stuff. Maybe take some side jobs to make extra money. As long as you don't get arrested, the Galaxy is yours (according to your unknown employer).





Cause see, since this kind of work isn't really totally legal your employer is (rightfully) nervous about your work being linked back to them. So they decided to erase your memory without you knowing. Well most of is at least. When you wake up (the beginning of the RP), you realize that all you remember is your name, skills, and the job. Now, I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty upset at finding out my memory was erased.



So that's all I've got for the Interest Check. I'm sure I'm forgetting to say something and if you want more details or have any questions feel free to ask. I'm looking for a small group, maybe 4 or 5 people. The CS is below, but don't worry about posting it yet. I just wanted to let any body interested have a chance to start coming up with ideas for their characters.

This looks interesting. Honestly I feel like this is a movie cliche. I haven't seen one of these in a while and I am interested in where you are going with this. I can't say I will join because I have no idea what I'm doing but I will check in once every few days. Have fun! I hope people join!

Yeah, it probably is kinda cliche. I got the original idea after binge watching Dark Matter and I'm stealing some ideas from the Mass Effect series and other sci-fi sources. But hey, gotta start somewhere.

Playing a gun-for-hire sounds fun, and I've had an itch for sci-fi recently so you can count me in. Can we create our own races, is this a strictly human crew, or should I just be patient and wait for the OOC to come out for more info?

I'd like the starting crew to remain human. Much further on I may allow you to create a new character or RP with multiple characters, but for now I'd like everyone to stick with a single human.

Since I've got about twice as many people interested as I need I'll be doing a first come first serve system. Once I get the OOC completed and linked here, the first 5 COMPLETE character sheets posted there will be the crew.

There's the OOC. Please post your Character Sheets into the OOC first. Once I've accepted the crew member then you can post it to the Character Tab. Also note that I added a section to the character sheet in the OOC. Without it, I won't consider your character complete.
