For as long as any of them can remember, it has been this way. All the wolves have ever known is unity, strength in numbers, and, ultimately, loyalty to the pack. They live together in peace and harmony, bonding with one another through play as pups, and then solidifying that bond as adult wolves during the Hunts that they attend. Each wolf has his or her own place in the pack, and none is more or less important than another. The pack has a sense of balance and believes in the continuing circle of life. They respect all pacts made across the land and are in tune with the nature of the surrounding rock caves and forests in which they reside. The wolves know that their way of life is the right one, morally, and feel strongly that all life should be valued. And there is also one other thing that they have always been certain of: their rivalry with the lions.

The lions, as opposed to the wolves, are greedy, selfish creatures, who believe more firmly in the mantra of “every one for his or her own self”. They tend to split ways when hunting to cover more ground, and will only bring back enough food for their own individual kin, as well as a portion for the pride leader, usually (but not always) a dominant male lion of a greater age. The lions are trained from birth to think individually and to become self-sufficient, not leaving much time for play or clan bonding. Despite the distance that they put between each other, lion prides usually grow to be rather massive. The lions are also all sure of the fact that they and the wolves do not, under any circumstances, get along. They have even been known to break a pact or two so long as they can continue their rivalry against the wolves and/or benefit themselves.

In between the two main power houses (the wolves and the lions) is another group that is of a higher status in this land: the tigers. The tigers what would be considered the closest thing to neutral in the territory, as they tend to stick to themselves. The tigers are not fond of either group, although in the past they have had a tendency to side with the wolves when it comes to a problem with the lions. Tigers are typically strong, fierce, and agile, training their young to remain peaceful until it is necessary for them to become aggressive. The tiger community is a smaller one, consisting of only about 5-10 individuals per separate clan. They are usually considered the tie-breakers when it comes to voting on major issues with the wolves and the lions.

Whether you are a wolf, a lion, a tiger, or any other creature roaming the area, you will have to find food, shelter, a water source located near enough your home, and acquire skills to get you what you want/need. And, you will probably also gain friends (as well as foes) along the way. The choice is yours: what will you become?

So, all in all, I made this thread after watching the phenomenal new Jungle Book film, so the concept of the rivalries and land pacts are relatively based off of that. However, obviously I have made my own changes by causing the wolves to rival with lions and having the tigers be seen as neutral, instead of evil. I don't want humans existing in this place, either. And it doesn't necessarily take place in India, because well I want to be able to include all creatures that are desired and not every biome will fit that: so this is a fictional place where really any kind of creature can exist (although I'm going to veto dragons and dinosaurs, etc., for the moment being, because I am wanting to make the wolves and the lions hold the most power possible across the land area. If you make a bio, please include your Zodiac (or Chinese Zodiac, if you feel like being special) sign under the final section. With that said, feel free to create a bio and I will check it ASAP. I might not be able to be on as often as I'd like, but I really am hoping to get back to RPing a lot more, like I used to, if I have the time (especially with summer fast approaching)!!!

Appearance(not just a pic, actual description please): Stormy is a wolf of a slightly smaller build, but what she lacks in physical size she makes up for in strength. She is a big-boned animal with razor sharp white teeth and a dark gray pelt, at times almost appearing blue. Her eyes are also gray, but in this case, the color of clouds on a rainy day. Stormy has perky ears and sharp claws.
Personality:. Stormy is loud, confident, wild, and free, commanding her warriors wisely and caring for her entire pack gently and diligently. She isn’t usually one to back down from a challenge, but she knows when it is wise not to do battle with an enemy. Personality: Leila is an intelligent lioness with a gift for articulation and public communication. She is a rational thinker when it comes to negotiations, although she can have quite the quick and relentless temper when it comes to her own personal interactions with others in her pride. She is fairly courageous and thinks somewhat highly of herself, never afraid to counter someone else’s attack (at least verbally). I am bumping my thread due to the fact that mass amounts of spam were occurring while I was trying to create this and I doubt that anyone actually got to see this, and am hoping that someone will be interested in RPing. I have to leave for work soon but hope that if someone makes a bio before then, that I can accept it. (: Should be back on later tonight if not before then (in about 9 hours).

Appearance(not just a pic, actual description please): Ajani is a wolf who is not too big in overall size, but very muscular. He has jet black fur fading to a dark grey once it reaches the paws and belly. He has a long scar on face starting just under the ear and traveling down to the chin, and has multiple scars all across his body. He has small but sensitive ears which twitch at the slightest sounds.
Personality: Ajani has lived in the wild almost all his life, making him very careful and maximizing all his senses. He shows no mercy when fighting and has an aggressive, hardened personality from his years in the wild. He has a hard time trusting anyone, especially lions, and always tries not to get too attached to anyone, because he usually ends up losing them. He prefers to hunt and work alone whenever possible, mostly because he has never had anyone to do either with. Ajani has a hidden personality of sorts that most people never get to see. He only shows it to the few people that he learns to trust and/or love. (I wont go into too much detail here because you will see it in the RP.)
History(optional): Ajani was born in a clan called Northpoint. He was raised here for about 5 years. One day (when he was 5) his parents brought him on a long hunt that they had been planning for a while. They had picked out a spot that was very far from the village. Everything was going fine until suddenly a fearsome lion jumped into view, tackling his mother and killing her instantly. Ajani and his father were further back, and his father told him to hide. Ajani obeyed, running and leaping into a dark rock crevice he saw. He sat there and watched, helplessly, as the lion grabbed his father in his mouth and dragged him away. Ajani could never find his way back to the village. Since then, he has been living in the wild for 18 years with very few social interactions with other animals. He has never seen his father since that day.

Appearance: Darius has one would call a muscular physical build for a male tiger of his age. He has one of the strongest legs in their clan, making him a fast runner and therefore a good hunter. Like most of his clanmates, he has orange and black stripes across his body while the bottom part fades to white. Although what is most notable is his eyes always looks somewhat sleepy, no matter what is happening. Although this is just the natural state of his eyes and he cannot change it unless he forces himself. One could easily notice a long scar on his right side made from a fight with the lions before.

Personality: Darius used to be a very arrogant tiger when it came to fighting. He keeps on going and never backs down. That was until someone put him in his place. Now, he seems like an easygoing person who is loyal to his clan but there are exemptions to this. He is now calm and thinks things through so it would benefit all sides. Considering that they are the 'neutral' corner, he needs to not take sides. He doesn't harbor any hate towards the lions, even after what they did, but isn't too close to them either. He tries to avoid most conflicts so it wouldn't result to more bloody fights but considering everything? There's only so much a tiger can do.

History(optional): Darius was born to two tigers who soon died after birth because they got caught up in the fight between wolves and lions. He was considered a very good addition to the fighting team. He was straightforward and doesn't hesitate to do anything at all. He doesn't back down and his roar could intimidate people. But there was a problem. He was too headstrong. One day, when he was fighting with lions when he was 17, he was gravely injured resulting in the scar on his side. He managed to live through it but the difference in his personality was seen immediately. He quieted down and then just became a hunter and would only be released as a fighter at an emergency. He became a diplomat and everything went well.

Thanks. I think you'll often see him roaming around, talking to other clans and stuff because he likes to keep in track of whatever is happening outside his own clan.
