I was hoping Section and I could collaborate on this post, but I felt it best to post my contribution first and then let him feed off that. I have given him permission to control my character "Joe" and his daughter "Theresa" in as much as moving them around. The three should remain together. He doesn't have to write dialogue or thoughts for them, but movements and even rifle fire would be appropriate, if he believes that is necessary for his post.

Joe Jr. will be positioned either on the back of the tank or nearby on the ground. If the tank should come under fire, Joe Jr. would jump down and return fire with his M4.

@Vermillion Looks like we have 7 official players. What's the minimum number of posts before people can post again?

@MatthiasAngel I'd say 4 maybe 3, however I can interact with players as NPCs to speed things up.

@Vermillion Gave Amie a tough baton and scabbard, reason being that she got both of them (and the training) prior to the Green Age. Consequently, they're about 15 years old and have been banged up pretty well (and likely used as a crowbar or hammer), which is why I picked a high-grade baton: it's still in good working order.

I know we've already established a post restraint to avoid one player posting too frequently, but I was curious about a time frane in regards to how long we'll have to wait for people before we post. I'd just like to know for future reference, so no one is sitting around waiting for too long.

Finally got a post up! I'm going to add a rifle or two into the community, with permission. It seems logical after 15 years, and I'll keep Amie from using one.

@CourierSix Maybe just bump the thread and tag everyone if it's been quiet for too long.

@MatthiasAngel youtube.com/watch?v=aSE1zySpGuo Granted I need to lower my range but it can definitely kill. With a single shot barrel break action air-rifle maybe we can increase the range a tad... possibly I can shoot two blocks with a clean kill and more with major injury?

I got up very early this morning and drove to Lexington, Massachusetts with three of my children. We arrived around 0445 this morning and watched a re-enactment of the Battle of Lexington on the Green. It was "Wicked" cool!

Me too!

We were located near the Minuteman Monument on Massachusetts Ave, across from Buckman Tavern. So when the engagement occurred, we were behind the British Infantry. Here are a few shots I took this morning around 6AM.

Seems like a good time, glad you had fun. I on the other hand was still in bed. I need sleep for my work or I'm exhausted all day. This site is always a nice break for me though.

I can't wait for Vermillion's next post though. There might be some interaction with Drei in it so I'm trying to wait patiently. I'm just excited to be getting back into all this after a pretty long hiatus. Nearly destroyed my wrist a while back, then I forgot my password for my old account.

@Treue I dunno. It feels like it's kind of early for a confrontation. Seems like it would be a turning point of the story, and you don't write a turning point in the first chapter.

@MatthiasAngel Interaction doesn't necessarily mean confrontation.
EDIT: I'm kind of eager to see @Section's post as well.

Vermillion will not pot until after Section has posted. More than likely, they will be about a confrontation with Vermillion's three NPCs, Frier and Watson Brothers.

@Gunther Yeah, they're already out for blood. It'd be a shame if he had to argue about using his one shell so early in the story. I'm looking forward to that happening later on, after some character development and world building. Heck, we don't even know he only has one shell yet. It doesn't count until it's IC.

@MatthiasAngel That kind of ammunition need not be expended on men armed with pebbles in comparison. xD

I really hate to have broken the norm and have been a bit unorthodox, but I didn't want to hold things back for everyone else as I fought my writer's block over Gregory's character sheet, as that simply wouldn't be fair, so I made a fairly lengthy post to move things along even without the real sheet. I'm really sorry if I slowed things down, I had a very long day today, but I hope to be more punctual in the future. Enjoy the post!
