Alright, and so they're going to technically be 2nd generation prometheans, though with far more promethean in them than human. My thoughts being that despite the incredibly low rate of promethean-human half-breeds, those half-breeds were naturally more resistance to the plague and were thus more fertile even when mating with other prometheans (which most probably would since humans would still consider a half-breed more promethean than human unless they were really human looking). The end result being prometheans that are predominantly promethean, but with enough human admixture within them to fix the prometheans' fertility problems (or at least lessen them). That sound good?

I take offense to that; I, for one, think they're absolutely adorable. I also quite enjoy thinking up names for them, since I decided to go the route of making their names just literal sentences strung together and I find it amusing. I was inspired by some of those amusing Puritan names like "If-Christ-had-not-died-for-thee-thou-hadst-been-damned" and "Jesus-Christ-came-into-the-world-to-save". I kind of realized that I couldn't give them, like, name-names since I'd want them to be in the Ayelic language and quickly came to the conclusion that I was not going to try and figure out how to transliterate names from a language composed of wet, sucking noises and clicking teeth.

I remember those Puritan name. Like this guy. It was silly when I read the Puritans did it, although the Ayelic names seem more intimidating, somehow.

Well they're longer. That's probably it. Well, that and the fact that the ayels themselves are rather intimidating. Plus the one has a name that is pretty much literally saying "I will show you no mercy".

And I just realized that the ayel whose name actually has "For-I-Shall-Not-Stay-My-Sword" in it, I specifically mention prefers the mace over the sword. Unintentionally irony, there. That is irony, right?

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd the IC is now officially open.

If you guys are all scaredy cats about posting first, then gimme an hour, and I'll have my first post up.

Not entirely sure what format to use to keep every prim and proper, so don't feel the need to copy what I do, as I might change it as things progress.

We'll start in ... Spring, shall we? The Spring of 500 A.E? That's what I'ma run with. After that, time will go into a free-fall kind of state; just avoid skipping ahead by months/years at a time or you'll break the Frengo-Time Continuum and the RP will collapse into itself, taking Shorticus with it, and reducing ZB to a pig-shark from the sixth dimension.

Feel free to add characters as you go, that's what I'm going to do. Got my main peeps, but I imagine I'll need to add a few more as I go.

I will get a post up today, methinks! If not today, tomorrow is a posting day with certainty.

Actually, due to the obscenely high infant and child mortality rate among ayels their mother (since no ayel knows their father) gives them a shorter, temporary name if they manage to make it past infancy and if an ayel makes it to adulthood they choose their own name.

Fabulous, I'll get to work on a post right now. It's a weekend, so my family's home which means I can't hog the television with Dark Souls III. So I should have the time. And if I don't, tomorrow for sure.

Huh, that's really cool. I guess that's another odd cultural similarity between Zaqir and Yossod (well, Zaqir and the Ayels), even if it's an epithet for saurians.

I will wait to post, many things on my mind and little time on this computer. Tomorrow the library I'm in right now will be closed, so I'll try to have something up by Monday, failing that I know I'll be able to come up with something at least by Tuesday.

Hmm... One hour on library computer. An additional hour granted if computers aren't in use.

I believe myself to be in love with this city, even considering the fact that I'm homeless. Considering the fact that there is a lot of others who are also homeless.

So, mildly bad news. I've been feeling sick since yesterday, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a post up today. I'll try to get one when I feel better, though.

I was hoping to post over these last few days, but other roleplays and real life have worked together to distract me.

Likewise I've been kinda busy with work, friends, and chorus (we have a concert coming up this weekend). But I'll get a post up in the next couple of days at least.

Lol, I love how the RP's one and only homeless guy operating out of a library is able to best the others.

Not that I'm moaning mind; like I've said, I like this RP's slow pace, it soothes me. Plus I'm likewise busy trying to stop Shorticus from overtaking another fantasy world with his horde of reptilian Halfling slavers.

It's a bit of a joke. We're working on a nation of dragon-worshiping human knights and their halfling allies, and we contemplated whether we should go all DRACOS VULT on some heathen ass dragon-people down in the mountains to the south.

Ultimately, Frengo decided that we'd stop being goodly knight folk if we did that.
