I N T R O D U C T I O N
₪ Hello and welcome to Bleach Reborn! This is an original RP set in the bleach universe. Whilst we shall be using the setting and certain aspects from the show, the plot and characters will not be involved. I've been wanting to join a Bleach RP for a while now but none surfaced, as such I decided to try and make my own with a bit more focus and direction. What I'm trying to achieve is a long lasting RP in which the players can enjoy all the best parts of Bleach, such as the spectacle fights and character progression and development. To do this I've placed some fairly stringent rules compared to other Bleach RP's in the past which shall be detailed later on, they are all intended to aid the longevity and experience of the RP for the players!
Now in terms of what I'm looking for its...well players! Bleach fans! Everyone will be taking part as a Shinigami from the thirteen court guard squads, the bad guys will be NPC's controlled by me and any Co-gms of the RP. This should function more like a D&D style game in which we can throw scenarios and NPC's at you. All of these decisions shall be explained later on in more detail but for the introduction I just wanted to give you the gist of what I'm shooting for.

₪ If you made it past the initial introduction then this is where I shall explain things in a little more depth and also set the scene a little. I've been part of a number of Bleach RP's in the past and they always ran into numerous problems that ultimately ended with their failure, I'm making this RP party out of passion for the universe, and partly as an experiment to see if I can solve some of those problems. The pirmary grips I have with Bleach RP's is the enormous cast! In the show you generally have two opposing forces, normally the Gotei 13 and the Hollows. Taking the most prominent characters from each side you can have up to twenty three integral characters! on top of that there are other characters too numerous to mention whom make up the rest of the forces. To tackle this what I've decided to do is focus on only one of these forces, the Gotei 13. Yes, that means you can only play as a Shinigami in this RP. I've done so as to lessen the need for so many players which will make the RP easier to manage and keep track of. It also forces all the players to interact with one another as they are all on the same side, which will hopefully result in interesting dynamics and less boredom.
The other side, being the Hollows for our first arc, shall be controlled solely by myself and any help I can get from Co-GMs. This is another way of lessening the need for so many characters, we can create NPC bad guys whom we don't have to flesh out right away and use them effectively to drive the plot forward, it will also allow me to see the big picture so I can tinker and hopefully get a really intriguing plot going for all of the players to participate in. (It makes me feel like Aizen)
On the subject of applications, people may apply for any position within the Gotei 13 that they want with the exception of the Captain Commander (for now). If multiple people apply for the same squad captain or any similar situation it would come down to which character is better, however I would urge those that are applying to voice themselves soon as I would not be inclined to usurp someone already accepted even if a better character came along. As such when looking at an application I shall tell the person if I have any problems with the CS, if all is fine there will then be a waiting period before I fully accept the character, just to give that last chance to anyone whom wanted to apply for the same position.

We will not be following the Canon (including characters) and shall act as if none of the events that take place in the Anime or Manga ever happened. There will however be a number of things I take from Canon just for eases sake. These things include (but are not limited to) Arrancar and Espada, both come about due to Aizens experiments in the Bleach story-line, Aizen doesn't exist on our story-line but to keep the familiar enemy we can assume that Hollows learnt how to rip their masks off naturally and their more prominent members are known as Espada.
So as far as we are concerned everything is as it should be, the Gotei 13 are protecting the world from the Hollow and all the Shinigami are happily living in the Seireitei. However things are about to change with the emergence of a new, organized Hollow threat. A threat hellbent on wiping the Shinigami out and claiming dominion over the real world so as to eat lost souls at will. There have already been some sightings of more powerful Hollow in Karakura town, acting in unusual fashion. Surely the person behind it shall show themselves soon?

₪ This is where I shall provide a summary of everything that has gone on in the current arc and, god willing, the entirety of any previous arcs.

(Rules)
₪ First and foremost I want mutual respect between everyone in the RP. If a problem arises then bring it up with myself or a Co-GM, but as usual you must respect the GM's desicion.
₪ I want everybody to follow the Forums rules, not just my own. It's the typical stuff, just be chill.
₪ This WILL be weened out during the character creation process but I warn that anyone whom wants to god-mod or Mary Sue shall not be tollerated. If you come into this Rp with an intent to win, we do not want you. Intend to participate.
₪ As a continuation of the above rule I would like to impliment a system, in which the winner of any fight shall be decided beforehand. This lets the pair focus on their writing and creating something cool, rather than trying to one-up eachother.
₪ My guidlines for posting is to try and post once every 3-4 days, I expect the RP will start at a higher pace and slow down as we get along but I'd like the RP to be active and not weeks without IC posts. In terms of length then the perfect size in my oppinion is 2-3 bulky paragraphs. It's much more about quality than quantity. If you go have a very large post then I would appreciate a small summery at the bottom of said post for anyone whom either doesn't have time or the will to get through small novels.
₪ In this RP players will be creating Shinigami of the Gotei 13. I encourage everyone whom joins to make a Captain as these will be the most prominent characters to play as. I will allow a second character if you so wish however it cannot be a second captain, they must be of lower rank. I'd also like to seperate which squads multiple characters come from so as to not lock out squad to others and to force better interaction.
₪ As was discussed in the Int.Check, 'Snowflake Syndrome' is quite the regular occurance, as such the rarer powers in the bleach universe shall be just that, rare. There will be no Bounts, no Fullbrings, no Vizards. Quincies might come in later. In terms of powers themselves I shall only be accepting one Captain with dual Zanpakuto, and on generational prodigy style character. If any other such powers arise I shall add them to this list.
