Long ago the world was ravaged by gods. They say the sky was lit with glorious light, and whatever it touched, turned to ash… One man beat them back, one brave pure soul. For all his efforts, this man's name was lost to time. What did remain were the tall gleaming Dungeons all around the world filled with endless treasures, each containing a rare Pandora Dantis. These weapons are the embodiment of those old gods locked away forever in their tombs, these Dungeons. They took many shapes and names, but it was said once a human possessed the power of a Pandora Dantis, the soul of the god and that of the human would become one.
These people had remarkable powers, and were seen as Gods in their own right. One a handful of human have ever become Dungeon Slayers, and only two are alive and renowned today. One is a 600 year old monk that lived in the mountains between Mordian and Arvil, he was said to have the power of Sight. He now lead a small band of nomads around those mountains, and most people never ventured near fearing of their cult like properties.
The other Jear Dovaln, was the leader of the Republic of Dovaln and was said to control two Dantis, his kingdom is one of Magic. There are a select few that have acquired Pandora Dantis in other ways, and some people were powerful in Magic in there own rights Dantis or no. Mei University was the center of all that magical wonder. Among them were Mages so powerful they rival that of the First Mage that put the Gods in their caskets. The entire floating island was one to marvel at, and few who didn’t have the power of Magic ever entered its gates.
Magic Tools have been made called Chimes, and when one possessed a Chime they were said to be able to move building, cast spells to destroy entire cities, and speak to the Gods. But these tools could not compare to that of the Pandora Dantis, and another almost every Mage had made one, few were extremely powerful.
You are one of the people in this new world, you may look for a dungeon yourself, or maybe you're a prince of some far off land, the story is yours to tell. Welcome to Pandora.
