Nora gasped and backed up, bumping into the window seat which made her loose her balance, let out a small squeak and fall backwards against the window with a bump, white wings rustling.

Faeya glared. "Stay away! I warn you!" She stood in front of the princess in defense, her eyes showing feirce determination. "I shall not let you take the princess!" She felt her adreneline slowly pump through her as her heart raced in panick.

Thack slams the door shut and locks it. He takes the key and snaps it in half. "Now, al I want is the princess. If you give her to me, I will let you live. If you don't well..." He grabs his sword and slowly takes it out. "That's a different story."

Faeya glanced at the sword before looking back at the man. A hesitant look came upon her face. She glanced back at the princess before turning back to the man. "If you take the princess, you'll have to add a third because I refuse to leave her side." She looked straight into the trespasser's eyes and said "you must take both of us."

Nestled within the Varangian Mountain Range stood the grim and foreboding Veskai Castle. A massive stronghold surounded by high walls with giant mystical crossbows used in ancient times to fight off dragon attacks. It was from this castle that Meridiana would reign over her lands after her parents died.

Until then, she had time to kill. Or to become better at killing. Or to train others to kill for her. Or to torture or interrogate prisoners in the dungeon. The point was that she had time. And she had options.

She came to her younger sisters room and entered without knocking. The girl was furiously scrawling. With an angelfeather quill upon the finest parchment. Andratha was ever the artist, musician and poet. Meridiana never had such talents of her own. Her art was destructive, not creative like her sibling.

"It's only a matter of time, you know?" Meridiana spoke to her sister, but the younger half-demon only continue to write. "Before we are ordered to conquer the Yang Realm."

"Perhaps the order will never come, dear Lily. And without that order you risk being branded a criminal by the Royal Family." Andratha spoke with a frail voice full of sorrow and deep wisdom.

"Well!" The Arch Duchess grew agitated by her sister's comment. "Perhaps I should make the need for war known in the Capital..."

Thack laughed a creepy laugh. He pulled out a small knife and grabed the girl. "Can't do that. This knife..." he said as he cut her arm, "Has a drug wich can knock out a elephant within seconds. Now rest." He let her down gently.

Nora gasped when the man grabbed Faeya and cut her with the knife. The angel hybrid cried out in protest as she scrambled to her feet and tried to get her friend away from the crazy man. "L-Let her go! I'll do whatever y-you want just d-don't hurt her!" She exclaimed, tears prickling her eyes.

"You will come with me to yang. In return, I will save her from death." Thack holds up a vile of the antidote. "Sware on your crown."

Nora drew in a shaking breath, held it for a moment before she exhaled and drew herself up straight. "I, Lenora Dilana Uriela, swear on the crown to subject to your will so long as my friend comes to no harm." She said, worried eyes on Faeya.

Annegien snapped her head to the side once she heard the sound of metal hitting the ground. She called out for her fellow guards, once no reply she frowned. "That's not good..." She whispered to herself and ran to a post, spotting a few guards laying on the ground, dead probably. "Oh heavens...The princess!" Annegien ran burst through the castle doors, a few guards in tow. She didn't quite remember where the princesses room exactly was, she'd only been there a couple of times. But Faeya would know. Where was that girl?

Thack saw the guards. "Hurry!". He gave the antidote to the girl looked out the window. "Can you get us over the wall?" He asked as he bashed open the window.

Nora knelt next to Faeya, gently brushing some bangs from her face. "I'm sorry." She said as she bent down to softly kiss her forehead before she stood and walked over to the man, a resigned look on her face. She slowly nodded her head. "Yes, I can."

"Then let's go. Now!" Thack pointed to the window.

Faeya's eyes widened as the knife cut through her skin and the drug seeped into her veins. A memory flashed before her as she dreamed. It was the first time Nora and her met. Young Faeya walked up to the girl and smiled. 'Hi! I'm Faeya! I'm your new friend!' Young Faeya, much more bold and knowledgeable than the older one, knew instantly of the intensity of their sisterhood. Faeya felt something seep into her veins and she started to rise from her drug-indused sleep.

Thack grabs the princesses hand and jumps out the window.

Nora closed her eyes and a wind sprang up, swirling around them and carrying them through the air. They landed safely over the wall and Nora looked back up at the castle, her home.

Thack wasted no time. He began walking. "Come now." He said.

Faeya's eyes shot open as she felt the wind thrash against her cheek. She saw no trace of the princess and she ran to the window. She looked toward the surface and she felt bile raise in her throat. "NORA!" she screamed in agony. Her best friend, her sister, is gone! She might not see her ever again! She ran toward the door of the room and tried to escape, but such a task was impossible. The door was unable to be broken into by anyone unless they had the key. She felt tears well in her eyes. Not only had she lost her best friend, but she had no way of escaping. Unless...she completely forgot she was a fae! She closed her eyes and thought of the air carrying her out of the tower and onto the ground safely. It took some time, but it was accomplished. She landed on the ground, but she knew that if the guards came with her, they'd kill the princess. Faeya had some idea of where they were taking her, but she had to get the guards off her track.

Luke sighed relaxing on a tree yawning he was having a pretty dull day at the moment licking the blood off his hands or at least boring for him having a bloody body on the ground near him. He didn't really know what was going on at the moment.

Inori just sighed then looked towards Leopold, " Leopold go lay down for a bit and lock everything when I leave, so I'm gonna go for a walk for a bit." he said and bowed then trotted off outside of the castle and stretched and wandered around the dark world in his Kitsune form. Inori wasn't looking for anything at the moment, he just was enjoying time to his self before chaos breaks out when the princess was kidnapped.

Leopold just shrugged and wondered around his Palace admiring everything about it with interest and accomplishment as well.
