"Welcome to the game. What can you do for the world of Zytouno? The world is in chaos due to the attacking demons from the netherworld. The demon king's men are attacking villages and terrorizing civilians. It is your job to liberate the Zytounians and drive out the evil in the land."
The message appeared to all players who had entered the game. Little did they know that if they died in the game, they could die in real life as well. There was an unknown problem in the system of the game called "Reborn". A fatal one.
So, basically what I was thinking with this roleplay is:
The game is a virtual reality game where the player's consciousness is transferred into the virtual world. The problem is that instead of respawning in the nearest after death, the game acts as though the player has logged off, but they aren't sent back to their bodies after death. The problem in the game is caused by one of the three head developers, Jason, for his own twisted motives. You can be a player, or a developer, or both. Our task is not to complete the game, but to fix the problem in the system. You can choose to help our corrupt developer succeed or help the good guys succeed.
Driis City - This is where the beginning of the game takes place, AKA tutorial town. The first few quests take place here. Players start out here unless they are of the necromancer class.
Adra - The first wave of storyline quests take place in this town.
Reiston Town - This is the central town as well as the hub town. The guild hall, the auction house, and fashion show are located in this town. NPCs who give event quests are also located here. The second wave of storyline quests take place here. The final battle of the main story is here, in the royal castle. Beware of lag here, it usually isn't server sided.
Uldas - The third wave of storyline quests take place here.
Esrenn - The fourth wave of storyline quests take place here. This is the capital of the smaller kingdom in the game. It is a lot smaller than Reiston. It is a town of magic users.
Mystic Town - Cats. Cats everywhere. Well, half cats at least. This town is home to a race of cat people called the catowinds. The fifth wave of storyline quests take place here.
Cascade City - If you thought cats were bad, get a load of the sharks. While the sharks aren't walking around giving you quests, they infest the waters in this ocean side town and are a part of the seventh wave of quests. Looking for the Pirate King world boss? He appears in the middle of the bay on his ship. You have to glide to get there. Hope you aren't afraid of heights... Or sharks.

You can also have pets called sprites that help you in battle. These sprites can go through a process called evolution to get stronger.
It's the original plot at least. I'm open to suggestions.
This + success = Profit & Possible sequel
I'll put down your character's name and main class. Just tel me what your character's name is gonna be, and their class. You can have more than one. I'd actually prefer for it to be that way, but it's up to you.
