Hello everyone! I'm zaehl, a newbie to roleplaying. When I say newbie, I mean that I have never roleplayed once in my life, or joined any sort of community related to it. However, I've recently learned about it and thought it looked pretty damn awesome, so I went ahead and searched for quite a bit of time for a nice and cozy forum, and here I am!

For the personal part, I'll let you know I'm a 16 yo girl, soon to be uni student! I speak solely french in my day to day life, so you'll excuse me if I do mistakes while roleplaying, but I do try my best! I've wanted to become better at English, so I did take enriched English this year, but it still doesn't seem to help me, so roleplaying could be much more helpful.

I love to draw, and might share a few pieces or my website if I feel the need to, or draw characters for roleplaying. The icon I will put up (or the only already put up) is drawn by me. As for the fandoms, I like a lot of anime and manga, but I've laid off on them recently, so if I do roleplay of any of them, I'll probably need to read them again, haha... Anime/manga I like include Naruto, D.Gray Man, Darker than Black, Fullmetal Alchemist, HxH, Mushisihi, Kuroshitsuji, NGE, Utena, Monster, Samurai Champloo, Bokurano, Nichijou, Space Brothers and a bunch of others, but I think I'll just keep the list at that!
For other fandoms, I do watch Supernatural but could probably never roleplay it, because it's hard enough to watch for me as is ^^" I'm sort of getting tired of it, in all honesty.

I think that's pretty much it? Anyways, I hope I'll finally be able to latch on to a forum for once!

You made your avatar ? God damn, looks awesome. If there was a talent I always missed in my life it was the ability to draw.

And for someone who's supposed to not be so confident when it goes to their english, it looks fine to me if you ask me. I guess it's more modesty talking here, which is fine.

Est-ce que tu parles francais? Welcome to the site, zaehl! I don't think there's much you need to stress about with your English. At least from what I've seen so far in your writing, it's pretty damn good. Your art style is literally perfect too. Anyways, I hope you find what you want here and have a good time!

Thank you! And I'm pretty glad my English didn't seem too bad to the three of you, I don't have all that much feedback on my writing.
On a side note, what section should I choose to begin roleplaying in? I checked around a bit, and I don't actually know where a newbie would be accepted because most roleplays look like they're already started and well ahead, even if they're still open. Also, I'm never quite sure when it's an original world or simply a fandom I don't know... Should I just make a new thread to ask someone to roleplay with me? (I'd post that in general interest checks I assume?)
