Blackburn nodded and followed Eryx. He had his gun drawn, ready for contact with anything hostile. As they traversed through the building, Blackburn would look behind them periodically to make sire they weren't being followed. He was unable to find anything out of the normal. "With an elite? No. But I've but bullet's between their eyes." Blackburn answered. He sighed as Eryx alerted him on what could happen. He then put his DMR away and pulled his pistol out himself, ready to fight if necessary.

"Good, now turn up the volume, listen." He crouched down, a hand on the door handle as his head lowered to listen. Breathing, heavy footsteps moving slowly. The enemy was clearing the floors too, and he could hear at least three of them on the other side, they were positioning. "They heard us." Eryx said, amusement ringing in his hollow voice. "Let's have some fun."

He let go of the handle and backed up, charging shoulder first into the heavy metal door, gripping the handle again in the momentum as it was pulled off of the hinges. Needles pinged into the door at entry before he threw it to the side at the first elite, sending the creature out the window for the long drop as he jumped onto the one in front, ignoring the elite to his right as heavy hands started pounding into the creatures flesh in a flurry.

666 made his way upto the floor he was to clear with Blackburn. As he reached the door he turned to face Blackburn. "Spartan Blackburn, you are with ONI correct? If so i recommend you call in Spartan Eryx's mental condition. He is not stable to lead a fireteam and shouldnt be given that responsibility. He's hardwired to kill not to help."

Ty moved with Spartan Williams, they were to clear their own set of floors and it was important that they did it in a timely manor. Everyone knew the consequences of that armor falling into the wrong hands, not to mention their own failure to worry about. Before even stepping foot on the Pelican to link up with Fireteam Quantum, he did as much digging on each of them as his clearance allowed and one thing was very clear. Their mission success rate was quite high, Ty wanted nothing more than to help get the mission done and each one that followed. "Williams and I are almost done with this floor, will radio check upon each completed floor." Ty said on comms as he kicked a door in and looked inside before deeming it clear and moving onto the next one.

Browning had followed 666 into the building, switching to his SMG as they got near. It was far more appropriate for clearing the corridors and rooms than his battle rifle.

As they stopped, browning tapped his chest plate, indicating the ONI symbol that marked him as one of their own.

I have been documenting the actions of all the Spartans on this mission, as is my role here. A report will be filed with ONICOM on my findings. Rest assured, I too am disturbed by Spartan Eryx's actions here today. This will not go unnoticed.

He turned to face the door, preparing for whatever may be inside, but he couldn't help feel uncomfortable. He didn't know anything about this Spartan 666, and now he had to trust him with his life? This wasn't turning out to be a good day

Spartan 666 turned to face the door and tapped the back of his helmet to the ONI emblem painted on the back. "Your in good hands Spartan. Just try to calm your nerves ok" The Spartan said grinning under his helmet. He kicked the door down sending it flying into elite. "This is for Reach you Sangheili Bastards" He said firing a shotgun blast into the nearest elite.

Blackburn looked at Eryx and took a deep breath. He knew he was in for a fight for his life. As he was ready to fight, he heard 666 speak. He nodded, not sure how to respond. He slowly walked, waiting for contact with an elite. His plan was thrown away once 666 had confronted an elite himself. An elite popped out of almost nowhere, roaring a battle cry of some sort. "Holy shit! These guys are ugly!" Blackburn yelled, the elite looking at him. The elite charged him, forcing Blackburn to the ground. He quickly drew his pistol and fired a full clip into the elite's head, it's blood splattering all over Blackburn's visor. "Reloading!" Blackburn yelled instinctively, quickly loading another magazine into his gun. He awaited another elite to come into his view.

Ty heard everything through his helmet, it was a difficult thing to hear your comrades in combat and most rookies come running but that in fact would be a mistake. Having confidence in your teams in one of the biggest assets you carry into any mission. Ty and Williams had to push on and continue clearing, especially if there were more enemies waiting to ambush them. He knew that the comms would be flooded soon with their commands so he kept the chatter to a minimum and remained calm, making sure to manage his breathing.

Eryx finished his flurry, leaving what was left of the mangled elite to turn on the other as soon as the rookie started to reload. Anyone with Eryx on their HUD would notice his vitals were all over, with a very unhealthy lighting in the pleasure centers of his brain. He kicked a piece of rubble up into the creatures weapon, knocking it away before diving at it. He reached forward, grabbing the elite by it's two lower jaws as it roared, a hollow laugh echoing over the radio. Blackburn as well as anyone with the camera active would see these jaw pieces brutally ripped away. Eryx pulled his hands back to punch the creature in the torso repeatedly, crushing bone, muscle and organs until it stopped wailing.

Finally he stood straight, still chuckling a few times as the bloodied armor turned back towards Blackburn to pass on the way to the stairwell. "Reloading in the open is a good way to get shot kiddo." He mutters, the vile smirk he was wearing could almost be heard in his voice. "Don't hesitate, or think about how you do it, because these monsters are certainly worse. Give them a taste of it."

Blackburn looked at Eryx. "Jesus, Eryx! You're crazy I swear, dude!" Blackburn said, obviously a bit disturbed by Eryx's merciless beating he gave to the elite. He finished off another elite with his handgun, getting behind cover in the process. He looked at he saw the mashed up corpse as Eryx spoke. "Yeah. You're definitely crazy." Blackburn added, shaking his head a bit.

Williams and Ty moved with purpose, diligently but quickly clearing their rooms. Their enhanced senses and the state of the art equipment they wore aided them in doing this but frankly it was the human interaction that made the job work. Their gut reaction or sixth sense if you will, is what separated them from the AI and Ty was thankful for it.
