@Specter189. The prison is located on the edge of a city. The prison itself from above has sort of a fan-design, with different pods coming off of a center (or a flower) with a few others connecting it. The ground outside of the walls is concrete, with no real grass growing, and inmates really don't go outside in plain view anyway. The walls protecting the city from the prison is solid as well.
This is a sci-fi setting where colors are really important, so the colors of the different buildings and paths is important as well. In prison, you are stripped of your social status/color, so the majority of the building is white, apart from the offices and guards quarters. The prison also extends below ground quite a bit.
