Etherea

A world where elves, dwarves and magic still existed. Though magic had all but disappeared, the other races still mingled with the humans, conducting trades and the likes. Wizards and witches, people who practices magic was rare, and there were parts of the world that had never seen magic at all. While it was at a time that one could call 'peace', it was still a rather tumultuous time for the people on Etherea. Kingdoms warred with each other, elves and dwarves hated each others guts, and random villagers still complained about how dingoes ate their babies.

We are the adventurers that resulted as a product of this time. Whether freelance mercenaries, bold explorers of dungeons, or just some travelers braving the bandits and thugs of the poorly patrolled roads to sell some trinkets, we were called adventurers. There was no shortage of things to do, from dragons infesting a mountain, some cursed object spewing out goblins to the occasional giant chicken hunt. However, not all adventurers lived to a ripe old age. Live expectancy for someone who regularly risked their lives was low after all, and that's not even counting the myriad dark plots some adventurers may get tangled in, some having been spun for ages. Living past middle age was rare, and actually retiring was rarer, much less retiring in luxuries.

Not that it will stop us from trying though.

We start in Pergamon, a city in the Urek Kingdom, a bustling hub smack dab in the middle of a major trade route. The world will be constructed as we go along, as well as most of the lore and history of the world.

To those few curious souls that clicked on this, this is a just for fun RP I made for the purpose of rping with a friend, but instead of writing, we use drawings instead, hence why it was placed in Advanced. It may have some more people joining in(slim as it may be), but I will still hold out hope and place it here instead of 1x1. And no, I am not accepting any more people thats not from my skype group. Maybe there will be exceptions to the rule. Maybe.
