Story:
My Character, Eiji was a privileged youth. Raised in a wealthy family, as an adult he has come to live by humble means. Pursuing his dreams, he moves out on his own, rather than involving himself with the family business. He finds a job*, where he falls in love with [your character- to be named], who all but outright rejects his subtle advances. Despite the apparent lack of interest, Eiji finds himself more and more interested. He wants to befriend [YC] at least, learn about them.
The Twist?
Recent pressure from his parents to marry, has him cornered. In a panic, Eiji insists that he is engaged now...
"Really?" Of course his parents were surprised; they were unaware of his dating life. "To who?" Did he rekindle his relationship with his ex-girlfriend?
The only person Eiji could think of was [YC]... But this only keeps his parents satisfied for a short time. Soon they're asking to meet his 'fiancé'. And Eiji hasn't even told him yet! He had wanted to keep it a secret - he didn't think this far ahead.
I am looking to play against a 'tsundere'-ish character: a character that initially comes off as mean, or aloof. A character that does not trust easily. A character that is difficult to court. A character to play against my happy-go-lucky, overly affectionate, feelings on his sleeve character. He is a 'dominant' or 'top' character- just not a typical 'uber-macho' one.
* Preferably MxM, but willing to do other pairings.
There is plenty we can do here. Involving exes. Maybe my character convinces your character to go along with the charade - to make an ex back off, or in exchange give him money or help him get closer to his dreams somehow. They mutual workplace can be discussed: a hospital, a comic publishing company, a restaurant, a school, et cetera.
I have a character for this if you like character sheets, and I would be willing to switch roles if you would rather play the other character.
