Position: Currently commanding 3rd Platoon I company (Combat Cars) – awaiting a replacement Lt.
Origin: New Friesland (the Slammers take recruits from everywhere but there is a substantial core of Frisians)
Age: 26
Appearance: A very fit woman with tightly cropped brown hair. Her face might be described as handsome but few would go so far as to call her beautiful. She is of medium height but is well muscled for her size.
Service History – Sgt Cole is entering her fourth year with the Slammers. She has seen heavy fighting on Prosperity, New Calen and Plattner’s world and has risen through the ranks based on natural ability and being fortunate enough to survive. She joined the slammers as a combat medic before being pushed into combat cars due to crew shortages.
Perception: As a senior noncom Sgt Cole is a combat veteran. She is no nonsense and is widely considered to be a solid and competent soldier. She has been in the field a long time and is starting to show some of the early signs of combat stress. If it wasn’t for the fact that this assignment was supposed to be a cake walk, she might have been reassigned to a desk in the rear for a few months.
3rd Platoon, I Company.
Item 3 consists of six combat cars out of a usual strength of nine. It is the only element of Item that has been attached to the ad hoc Taskforce Tambre. At the opening of the operation it is fully crewed with 24 crew including gunners and drivers.
