Looking good Gunther. The only thing I would add is weaponry wise. Slammers infantry carry 2cm powerguns and 1cm sub-machine gun variants as primary armaments.

Check out the hiders. Everyone has the 20mm Assault Rifles with a few exceptions. I added an underbarrel Grenade Launcher, two per squad and Buzz Bombs, two per squad. Also, each squad has a jeep with either buzzbombs or AGL mounted on each. They provide some overwatch when the platoon is maneuvering.

The bulk hauler pretending to have trouble over head is going to drop a several thousand ton cargo container full off explosives onto the base camp.

That is a good idea. Just to let you know, I filled out the platoon with names long before we opened the IC up. I will post their names in y Character Sheet to keep them in the same place.

My platoon just took 20 KIA and 3 WIA. Without a medical facility available, those WIAs are going to be in a world of hurt. The Platoon went into the city with 42 soldiers and came out with 26. That is 39% casualties. Those mortars did a number on them.

Hey, I'm a little embarrassed. This RP is right up my alley, but due to time constraints I cannot make a character at this time. If there is a checkpoint in a week or two for reinforcements, tag me please and I will see if I am available to make a character.

@POOHEAD189, check this out for TL;DR...
3rd Platoon, I company, a platoon of six armored Cars, caught an ambush inside the city of Calagahn. The armored Car platoon broke contact, losing two vechicles in the process. Also, 1st and 4th squads, 2nd platoon, D company, who were also conducting presence patrols in the city, rushed forward, to cover the armored cars' withdrawal. The Platoon HQs, 2nd and 3rd squads, 2nd Platoon D Company, joined the fight and were pushing toward the building from the south. Incoming mortar fire caught the infantry in the opening and the Platoon Sergeant made the decision for the 2nd Platoon to break contact and drop back about 2 Kilometers to the south. After reconsolidating at a Rally Point, the 2nd Platoon D Company realized they lost 39% of their comrades back in the city. The Armored car platoon also lost about 33% of their strength in that action.

We could use some tanks.
