People will be more busy by then and honestly, my new job (to look for jobs) is being a pain in the butt and is actually putting me through so much work that it could easily be my new full time job!

WE'RE ALIVE!!!

Well, at least I'm back on the site. I apologize to those playing and those who enjoyed reading for being away for so long. After the holidays, my life kind of got turned up-side-down, and I spent a good 3 months trying to get my stuff back in order. I'm happy to say that this issue won't happen again in the foreseeable future, and I look forward to hopefully rping with you guys again.

Still waiting on Robo response..... and return. He's been out for 12 days, so must have been something with life.

Alright. Here's the plan... ENTIRELY. There's two actually;

First plan: The restart of SAO: Aftermath. Not the continuation of what's already happened, but a complete reset. This would mean that everything that's happened up to now would be null and void. The good side to this is that Gin, Robo, and Rogue can keep their characters. The downside is that all lore revealed up to now would have to be reset. Not saying you have to forget it, just that some of it might change.

Second plan: Reboot SAO: Aftermath. Honestly, this works out pretty well, as everything up to now will have still happened. The lore wouldn't change and it would still be easy to create from where it was left off. The major downside to this choice though is that all characters up to this point would be added to the "Dead" list, for obvious reasons. This would mean we all would make new characters and start from square one. Not too terrible, but having a character die still feels bad, especially when you've made the character and intended for them to live.

Either choice is viable, and I know where to go from if we decide on either choice. Just let me know here what your choice is, and I will get to work reviving this RP.

Note: Those who showed interest up to this point in my G.I. check are welcome to vote on a choice if you are still interested in playing.

@link23454 this is quite confusing. I prefer something that is easier for new characters or new players to understand and then, join. Lore that gets too deep already, I'm afraid some won't be able to catch up with everything. That's a drawback. However, as you mentioned with the 'Dead' thing, it's quite unfortunate. So, I don't know what to choose. I really hope that the new ones will be able to catch up with everything if it's not too late.

EDIT: Seeing this, I think option one is the best. You don't lose any characters and the new information is easier to grasp for the newcomers. Both gain advantage.

@link23454 I vote for the restart, as it seems to work out better for all joining parties: continuing players don't have to make new characters and new players don't have to jump in en medias res

Well, looks like a restart then. I'll wait-see if anyone else feels like voting, but looks like restart is the best option. Personally, I think so too. Just wanted to offer alternative.

So, the next time I have time, I will redo the main OOC post to reflect everything that will change. (not definitive; still want to wait for last three votes)

Seems as though a few people have been off for a few days, so here's the deal.

If you're ready to join in, the rules for making a character are the same. Make it, add it to this OOC (using a hider preferably), and once I finish examining it and approve of it, you can add it to the CS tab. If I have any issues I will let you know via PM, of course telling you why those issues exist. On that note...

Thing are starting from ground zero. What I mean is that I'm just going to copy paste my first IC post and make it the newest post, then we will start from there. Some things are still going to happen the same way lore-wise, but a few things will have changed. Those I will provide at the proper moment when necessary.

One more thing of note: I will not have a personal character this go-around. It's not that I don't want to play a character, but my character's purpose had been used up in the last run, so his existence as a player in the story is pointless now. He will still exist in world up to the point that I need him to, but I won't be rping out anything for him.

Either way, I look forward to the new comers and new characters, and hope @Gin and I can do a good job at keeping this rp alive and running.

Whenever you guys are ready to make your characters, just post them here. I'll give them a read asap and let you know if anything needs changing or if it's accepted.
