What on earth is ice cream... Cinead thought confusedly, Drawing his eyebrows together and casting a baffled expression towards Anna. He was about to ask her when she preemptively stopped him, as if the idea was somehow painful to her. Before he could quite wrap his head around this idea, she had determinedly marched up to him, taking his wrist in a firm grasp and beginning to tow him out of the building at a quick pace, resolutely stating that she was bound and determined to get him to try pizza. The entire thing had another laugh bubbling up from his chest. "The meat lovers sounds promising." He mused aloud, hopeful at the idea of a pizza promoted specifically to those who loved to eat meat. Perfect for a carnivore.

She looked even more pained when he had a baffled expression on what Ice cream was. "We'll revisit ice cream another day." She sighed. The shorter of the 2 grinned at his laugh. At least he found this amusing. "Yes the Meat Lovers there is so good! It's smothered in pieces of steak, bacon and ham. It's almost as good as the 3 cheese in my opinion." She explained as they exited the building and started through the small crowd that was outside of it. Anna groaned again but started pushing through, her determined look growing a bit more intense as she lead him through .

Steak, bacon, and ham. All things he had luckily previously tried and found to be enjoyable, most notably the steak. And that made him feel less apprehensive about trying pizza. He made an agreeable noise in his throat in response.

After a moment, Cinead began to notice that the crowd was beginning to part much more quickly before them, making the going easier. That either had something to do with Anna's determination and the expression on her face or the wide berth people usually gave him. Whichever the underlying cause, he was grateful for the decrease in the press of bodies. "Will we be needing to drive or will we be all right to walk the distance?" He finally asked, trying to judge the trajectory of their path.

Anna was pleased with his agreement. "You still have to try plain pizza before you get the Meat Lovers." She reminded him as she continued dragging him. Cin was not the only one who noticed the now somewhat easier trek through the crowd. Maybe it was for Cin and nobody wanting to be in the big guy's way. She looked back at him when he asked about how they were going to get there. "We can walk. It's a couple stores down from the deli we ate at yesterday." She explained as the emerged from the crowd. "Do you want to get something from your car before we go?"

"As you wish." Was his response to her insistence that he needed to try plain pizza before he got to the meat lovers. Cheese, he supposed, should be relatively acceptable. And Anna was most likely not going to let him get out of trying the plain easily, So there really wasn't any point to fighting her about it. He could except the experience to try something new. Although he probably would have to draw the line at vegetables. Hopefully nothing of the sort came up.

Giving his head a shake as Anna looked back towards him and asked about needing to go to his car, Cinead said, "There's nothing there that I need, no. I was merely curious if it would be easier to get to our destination by driving. But if it is just a little past where we bumped into each other yesterday, I have no complaints about walking." His eyes lit with amusement at the memories of yesterday, crinkling somewhat around there edges.

"Thank you." She smiled, letting go of his wrist and walking in the general direction of the pizzaria. Hopefully he would at least enjoy the plain a little before he got to the Meat Lovers which she hoped he loved too. If his willingness to try it was any indication, it should be fine enough. Anna listened to his explanation about the need to drive there or not, not missing how he became a little amused at the memory of yesterday. "I still promise not to throw everything all over you again." She joked lightly.

Again, the loss of contact was a rather unexpected and surprisingly tangible feeling of pain to Cinead as Anna finally removed her hand from his wrist. He wondered at the existence of the aching in his chest, even as the fingers of his other hand touched the still hot spot on his skin where they had been in contact. What a strange change, the way he was beginning to desire to never let go of her hand, to always be in contact. He didn't understand what it all meant. Blinking thoughtfully into the sunlight, Cin dropped his arms and pushed his confusion to the back of his mind where he would find time to deal with it later. For now, he would simply enjoy the moment.

"I would dearly like it if you could find it in yourself to refrain from dumping objects upon me, thank you very much." He made himself tease in return, once again falling into step beside Anna. "especially since I believe we are going to be partaking of something that is covered in sauce and cheese. I don't have a change of clothes with me and I still have a class after this.. I wouldn't want to have to explain why I was wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts because my pants had been ruined."

Anna had felt the same as her companion at the lack of contact, but didn't suffer too much confusion. She carried on pretending that she wasn't affected and continuing to lead him towards the pizza place that was now just down the block. "Almost there~." She pretended to swoon, laughing at her own joke. "I shall soon be reunited with my beloved pizza!" She added for good measure.

The girl burst into laughter at his explanation of what could happen if she messed up his clothes on accident. "That sounds hilarious! Don't tempt me into it now, Cin!" She teased him back. The whole idea of him having to strip down because of all the sauce and cheese seemed so out of place that it was funny.

Cinead enjoyed the sound of Anna's laughter, a smile touching on his face as she joked about her reunion with Pizza as if speaking of a lover and then burst into delighted peals at his attempt at humor. He obviously had to give himself more credit, or she was just humoring him. Either way, he found himself Breaking into a full smile with her mirth, Her laughter infectious, uplifting. "I suppose I should refrain from giving you any further ideas." He chuckled, Briefly imagining a scenario in which Anna threw a pizza at him on purpose. Giving his head a shake, he lengthened his stride, Pulling ahead of his companion and quickly making his way over to a door underneath the banner of the restaurant she had indicated earlier. He pulled it open, enjoying the smell of cooking meat and bread that intensified, Washing over him in a warm wave, and tried to wait patiently as he gestured Anna inside.

She looked up at him as she wiped a tiny tear from her eye as she started calming down. "I see you're emoting again. That's nice." She teased a little more, giggling at his remark about not giving her any ideas. "Yes, not a good idea to tell me things that would be hilarious if I were to cause it." She nodded in agreement. She watched him as he sped up his walk a little to hold the door open for her. "Oh my, such a gentleman." She smiled as she headed into the restaurant. It seemed they had just made a fresh Ultimate Meat Lover's pie.

"around you, I find it easier and much more natural to express myself with outward emotions." Cinead responded to her observation, only realizing after the words had left his mouth that they might sound odd. With any luck, it wasn't giving away too much information. Following Anna into the restaurant, he hesitated, looking down towards her for guidance. He had never been here before after all. He wasn't familiar with the procedures. "how are we supposed to order? Do they take us to a table or do we seat ourselves?" He asked, fiddling with the strap on his bag with one hand, a habit he had picked up from watching so many others do the same thing.

Anna blushed at his comment about being able to express himself a little easier than with others. Well didn't that give her hope that there some sort of chance or something. She smiled up at him and patted his back. "We go up, order, get our food, and then seat ourselves. It's the general procedure for these places. Some are different, but most are like this." She explained briefly as she headed up to the counter. She gestured for him to follow her as she stood behind another person on line.

The brief contact her hand made on his back was unexpected and only years of practice allowed Cinead to not jump at the touch. He did, However, glance down at Anna rather quickly. He tried to cover up his initial reaction by nodding his head in acknowledgment of her information, Glancing in the direction of a list of pizzas The restaurant offered that he now saw had been hung up on the wall. Giving this only the briefest of examinations, he already knew what he was going to be getting, he stepped into place next to Anna. "sounds simple enough. But perhaps you should order first, to give me an idea of what I am doing." He suggested.

Anna hadn't notice his surprise at her touch, thinking mainly about what she would be ordering. "I'll get the plain slice for you. You can get the ultimate meat lover's for yourself?" She suggested as the line moved up a little. She had come into the view of the male cashier, who seemed to be checking her out when she wasn't looking. "It's similar to how you order at the deli." She reassured. The person in front left and they moved a bit closer to the front of the counter. Being the second person in line now, Anna was now in the view of the male cashier. The cashier smirked a little and started to check Anna out a little when he knew she wasn't looking.

Cinead made a humming sound in his throat to portray his acknowledgment of Anna's advice, but the greater part of his thoughts had suddenly focused on the man behind the counter. He had caught sight of the cashier casting surreptitious looks in their direction, his eyes raking over Anna and lingering in places that made Cin suddenly feel hot and a little angry. A silent growl rumbled deep within his chest as they stepped forward and the glances intensified, a smirk playing around the man's mouth. For some reason, that expression combined with the looks The man was giving Anna made Cinead want to strike the stranger, put himself between those eyes and the woman beside him. The sudden violent desire surprised him. True, he had a temper at times, but he had never felt the urge to attack a complete stranger before. He couldn't quite put a word to the combination of emotions he was feeling. As the person in front of them completed their order and moved aside, putting Anna even closer to the man, Cin had to fight The growl that bubbled up in his throat from breaking passed his lips, Wanting to curl them back from his teeth. He settled on leveling a glare at the cashier over Anna's head, stepping in close behind her. what is going on with me? A small reasonable voice questioned within his head. His Dragon answered that voice with a silent roar in his mind.

While the man next to her was contemplating why he was feeling that way and the cashier oogled her, Anna was texting a friend of hers. They were having a party in the woods and she was invited and could bring one more friend of her choice. It was about a week from today. She was about to ask Cin if he wanted to go with her, but the person in front of her finished and she moved up to order. "Afternoon, can I have a 3 cheese pizza slice and another plain one as well as a medium Pepsi please?" She ordered quickly, knowing what she wanted after looking at the menu that was still open on her phone. "You can have that and way more, Beautiful." Anna looked up at the guy with a semi-surprised look. "...Excuse me?" "How about you gimme your number and the pizza is on the house? Or better yet, a kiss?" Anna blushes slightly in embarrassment that he was flirting with her, especially with Cinead right there, watching the whole thing. "Ah, just the pizza. How much is it?" "$10.50." "I'll pay the money. I'm flattered, but I'm not interested."

Jealousy. Cinead was finally able to put a name to the emotion. And the result caused him to blink with surprise, the glare melting off his face. He had only ever heard of the emotion, read about it in books. He had never expected to actually feel jealousy burning within him... The surprise was abruptly pushed aside as the man behind the counter very blatantly began flirting with Anna as soon as she started her order. The remainder of his surprise was burned away as if by fire as the jealous feeling returned in full force. A part of him was aware of Anna's rejection, and that made him happy, but that somehow didn't stop him from moving up beside her and giving the man another full-fledged glare.

The cashier had just started to say, "Oh, come on. Don't be like that gorgeous." when he finally noticed Cinead and glanced up, blanching at the expression on the taller man's face.

"she said no." Cinead nearly growled, his voice coming out even deeper than usual, the Welsh accent thick. "I recommend you cut your losses and back down now before something bad happens." His eyes burned momentarily like molten gold as he stared down the human, unable to stop himself from interfering. "now, before things get out of hand, why don't you add a slice of your meat pizza to that order and give me the total. Then go get the food."

The man blinked several times, shrinking back from Cin before hastily pressing a few more buttons on the cash register and stammering the new total. Cinead deliberately concentrated on reaching for his wallet, extracting the exact amount and setting it on the counter. The cashier fumbled as he hurried to pick it up, shoving it into the cash register and printing out the receipt. He shoved it across the counter at Cin before retreating into the kitchen. He hadn't returned by the time another worker came out with a tray that had three slices of pizza on it and a plastic cup with a lid on it, obviously their order. She seemed oblivious to the incident that had taken place not too long ago and set down the food on the counter with a cheerful smile. "enjoy your lunch."she said happily before retreating back into the kitchen.

Picking up the tray, Cinead stepped away from the counter, heading towards a table in the next room. He didn't quite have the nerve to look at Anna yet, fearing her reaction. His anger had led him to over react, he knew it, but he hadn't been able to stop himself. He had let his anger take control of him. That wasn't something he had felt for a long time.

Anna mentally groaned when it seemed the guy wasn't going to take no for an answer. She was about to politely refuse his...offer when Cinead stepped in and told him to back off in a more efficient manner. She felt a shiver go down her spine from attraction and intimidation as he spoke. He sounded like he was her boyfriend or something...and she really liked it. The guy looked like he was about to pee his pants, but she didn't blame him. Cin did not look like a guy you wanted to mess with, especially now.

She was also surprised when he decided to mix their order, but didn't fight it for fear of ruining the act. That and she didn't want any of that intensity pointed at her right now. She guessed it kind of made them even for the day before when she paid for his lunch, but it didn't feel so right. She got out the small amount for the pizza slice he ordered and resolved to give it to him when they finally sat down. Anna couldn't help herself when the man speed walked into the kitchen again. She had a somewhat smug grin, despite the fact that she didn't contribute a thing to why he retreated the way he did.

They were soon served and Cin went to go and pick out a table. Anna's smug grin had since gone away by that point, but a small smile still graced her features. She looked up at him to see he was trying not to look at her yet. Maybe he was composing himself? Anna usually had to recharge after pulling similar stunts like that. They ended up sitting in another semi private booth.

"...Thank you for saving me back there, Cin." She thanked after getting her slice and drink. "It didn't seem like he was gonna give up for a second there." She nervously chuckled, rubbing her neck a bit sheepishly. "So, why not try the plain pizza for now if you're still in the mood to eat." She suggested, trying to get him to focus on their original objective: To get him to understand the beauty that was pizza.

Settling back into the cushion of the booth for a moment as he waited for the pounding of his heart to slow down, Cinead finally looked across the table at Anna and was surprised to find her smiling at him. She even thanked him for his interference. All at ones, his worry was wiped away and his expression softened considerably. A gentle smile touched at his lips, But before he could say much on the matter, she had gone back to encouraging him to try the pizza. That was going to be something that he really liked about her, the way Anna didn't linger on unpleasant situations. "Plain slice first. Got it." He acknowledged, his voice still somewhat husky. Obediently scooping up the appropriate slice of pizza, Cin scrutinized it for a few seconds before taking his first bite. He almost, almost, wrinkled his nose. He could handle bread, even cheese was acceptable, but he didn't like the tomato sauce that they seemed to have put between the two substances. Overall, it was... tolerable. Just in case something of his dislike was him to that, he forced himself to take another bite, feigning enjoyment.

Anna had almost blushed at his soft smile in response to hers. She really did think that it was cute when he smiled like that. He seemed a tiny bit relieved at the subject change but Anna ignored that small fact. She bounced in her seat with a small excited grin on her face. He would love it and all would be well for the rest of their lunch! She dug into her 3 cheese pizza as he bit into his first ever slice of pizza. She purred at the taste and closed her eyes in delicious plaesure. She looked up to see his reaction and noticed he had went back to being stone faced. She pouted a little. "Not the biggest fan?" She guessed pizza wasn't for everyone then. It wasn't a big deal on whether he liked it or not. "Do you want to try your Meat Lovers then or no?" She inquired, ready to eat that along with her food if needed.
