In testing, this subject displays a much higher durability than the average human, along with overall heightened strength, speed, agility, and perception (although he claims that even on his best day, he would likely be outmatched by a full-blooded Alf or any one of the Aesir). In addition to his physical attributes, he seems to have also inherited a slight knack for spellwork, and while he claims that he can essentially work as much magic as he wants with little to no physical taxation, he does admit that that comes primarily from the low power level of the magics for which he shows an affinity.
He also states that he is capable of speaking in the All-Tongue, but with the caveat that it does not strictly come naturally, and requires a certain degree of focus to maintain.

Subject shows incredible marksmanship, primarily with our compound bows, although he did quickly display a similar level of competence with rifles and firearms. Additionally, the subject shows a decent grasp of both aikido and jujitsu, though he is clearly more proficient with combat at a distance, and I suspect he prefers long-ranged confrontation.

Showing a generally friendly and amicable face when around others, the subject is clearly practiced in his social graces (and even displays a mastery of etiquette belying his upbringing in one of the smaller cities in Norway). After spending a fair amount of time with the subject, however, it became clear to me that his social graces were most certainly very practiced, and did not come naturally to him. I'm left to wonder how much of this is due to his unusual parentage and upbringing between two separate planes of reality, with the nearest I can come to drawing a conclusion being to theorize that the mixed parentage and rearing led him to feel out of place in both realms, and thus work more steadfastly to stand out in a way that suits him, rather than risk being seen as a freak as the human among Alfr, or the Alf among humans.
Regardless of the effort it seems that he puts into how he presents himself, he clearly does not want others to know how much effort it takes, and does a rather competent job of making himself seem comfortable, carefree, and at ease.

Standing at a full six feet tall, the subject's overall athletic frame certainly tends to command attention, drawing the eyes directly to his, which are shockingly bright, and almost silver in coloration. While he keeps his dark hair long enough to usually cover his ears, they do occasionally slip out from behind the curtain, giving a fairly clear indicator as to his mixed parentage by nature of their rather pointed shape.

In hearing the subject recount his upbringing, I found evidence lending credence to my theories regarding his actively carefree self-presentation. Growing up in a small town with an ex-military father and a mostly absent mother, he spent a good bit of his early years being picked on and excluded by his peers, both for his unusual appearance and height, and for his missing mother, who disappeared shortly after birthing him and leaving him with his father (not to mention the stories his father told of her departure, frequently dismissed as drunken ravings). After several years of only knowing his mother by her picture on his father's desk, a strange light just outside of town drew his curiosity, leading him to investigate, until he came across the woman from the photograph, hardly changed at all since it had been taken before he was born. While he never did get a satisfying answer as to why she had vanished for so long, he did eventually agree to go with her, to meet the unknown half of his family. After spending time among the Alfr, the subject states that he gained a new understanding of himself (how such a non-confrontational kid could have come from a staunch military man, for example), and began visiting with them on a regular basis, where he started to learn about his natural aptitude for certain types of magic, along with archery, a certain degree of swordsmanship, and a handful of other arts traditionally passed down among the Alfr.
Over the following years, and in the aftermath of several potentially world-ending events, the subject decided that he wanted to try and do something with his gifts and limited training, practicing a couple of more defensive human martial arts in addition to his Alfen training, before eventually finding his way here, where he claims he hopes to further his training, and eventually put it to good use.

Apparently, in his time with the Alfr, he discovered that they have a particular aversion to what they refer to as "cold iron" implements, although what that actually means, and if, in his hybrid nature, he retained that ancestral aversion, remains a mystery so far.
