Eric didn't understand the by play between Matt and Nikki. However, he could see the anger in Nikki's eyes as she stormed off. Eric knew better than to chase her down now. he would wait for to come back on her own.

Eric sat in his room with the door waiting and listening for Nikki's return. Eric came out of his room when he heard Matt and Nikki in the hallway. "Nikki... Nikki. Where are you going? Let me go with you. We will kick ass together. Le me come. It will be fun."

Eric was ready to go. He was always ready to go since the outbreak. He just checked the rounds in the guns and nodded to Nikki.

Nikki heard Eric come up and offer to go with her. "Let's go Eric!" She unlocked the front door and opened the door. Matt watched and gave Eric a look that said watch out for her.

She was really pissed off at Matt. Nikki was wearing tight jeans, a tank top, high heeled boots, and her trenchcoat. She was packing her gun with a couple of extra full clips, multiple knives and of course her sword.

The first time she was even able to be a little bit happy and he brings up the one thing that could ruin it. The big green monster truck with the Hulk on the hood and doors, it had been the one thing she had signed on with Nolan. She could barely stand to look at it now but her car wasn't going to fix this anger. She needed her truck. Nikki climbed up the side of the truck and got in. After Eric got in and the guard let her out of the gate she gunned it down the road to the apartment.

She knew the apartment manager had a generator, there might be more than one there. She opened the door into the building up and there were several walkers that she was plowing through quickly. After about ten or so she just got angrier and pulled her sword out inside the building. Luckily it was wide enough to use it she made quick work of them.

She knew that the city had passed a law stating that they had to have a generator on the premises for oxygen tanks for the elderly. She also had keys to Nolan's apartment and opened the door into the one place that should have made her feel something good. It should have, except the apartment was not empty. There was a female walker there. She was wearing what looked like lingerie. Nikki looked at her and she stopped and stared at her dead best girlfriend in lingerie, in her fiance's apartment. Nikki sat down on the couch and stared off into space for a minute. The walker of course kept coming. Eric stayed back when Nikki started moving. She was so infuriated that the walker should have been thankful to be dead already. Nikki tackled her to the ground and pulled out a hunting knife and put her down and she added several stabs for her own pain.

It was at that point that Nikki got up and walked towards the bathroom took off her shirt that was now caked in blood. She walked into the bedroom topless and over to the closet. She opened the door and pulled out one of her own shirts. She grabbed her suitcase and filled it with her clothes and a few pictures. She also grabbed the guns and ammo that they had bought and gone to practice with. Nikki took off her engagement ring and put it on the dresser. She opened Nolan's closet and pulled out the bullet proof vest and the holsters. He had joined the police academy three years ago and he was an officer in the next town over. She found it even harder to feel anything. She went over to the cabinet and pulled down some liquer and shoved that into the bag too.

"Eric, I think in my divorce settlement I would have gotten to keep the truck. Infidelity would have gotten me that at least right? You know what the best part of all of this is? I get to be with whomever I want to and I don't have to feel guilty." Nikki grabbed her things and said, "Here, you drive us back. I don't feel like it right now. Don't forget the generator over there."

Nikki climbed up after throwing her stuff into the back of the truck. The generator was heavy and needed to be lifted so Nikki climbed into the back of the truck and they got the generator up onto the back of the truck when Nikki saw a walker slide past them and it turned and went towards Eric. Instead of getting him it got a boot through the face as Nikki came flying off of the back of the truck in an aerial attack. Once the generator was pushed far enough back they got inside and her good mood was restored. "Well it looks like my life had a few big problems that I didn't even know about. It looks like I have no reason to feel the slightest bit of guilt at all." Nikki reached over and kissed Eric.

Jon fell to his knees as the Felix kicked him. "Smart move but you've left your guard completely open." He said grabbing one of his ankles with his hand then sweep kicking his other ankle. He was still holding his ankle as Felix fell so he was able to put him into a leg lock as soon he hit the ground.

Eric was excited for the chance to hit the road with Nikki. He climbed up into the truck and held on. He just shut up and held on. In the apartment, he was about to shoot the infected when Nikki tackled it. Before Eric could get into the fight, Nikki had killed it..again.

Eric followed Nikki down the hall. He was rewarded by seeing her topless. She was a beautiful woman. All the more reason to stay with her. Once he was sure the bedroom was empty of the infected, he allowed her a few minutes of privacy. Eric waited in the living room for her to return.

Eric looked over at the infected that Nikki had shoved her spiked heel into. "Not only sexy looking, useful too. Thanks."

After climbing back into the driver's seat, Eric returned Nikki's kiss. As they kissed, he lightly caressed her leg. "Do you want to head back to the school or somewhere else?"

Nikki groaned slightly irritated that they still had to get back and unloaded. "Let's find somewhere private. I don't want to see Matt yet." Nikki pointed to a road that led back towards the school but told him to stop off the road in a field. The back window flipped so you could climb through it into the truck bed. Nikki had had that done custom because of the camping and weather issues when they went out. There was a large metal box attached across the truck bed. Inside it was sleeping bags, water, gas can and a few miscellaneous things in there.

Nikki reached through the window and started to kiss him. "Come out here." She zippered the sleeping bags together and pulled her trenchcoat off and kept it close to where she was going to sleep. She sat down and started to take her boots off.

Jenna was watching Felix and Jon spar and she was worried that they would hurt each other. It all looked very, very violent. She grimaced as one of them took a hard hit and she wondered how Nikki ended up being able to handle all the hits. She was shorter than Jenna but not by much if she was wearing her boots. Jenna wasn't sure she was going to actually fight a living person and if she had to she was pretty sure she would lose.

She was all for learning to fight but she didn't want to watch these two sparring. To her it just looked like they were fighting for no apparent reason. She turned away from them and kept her mind off of what they were doing.

Haru Sent

Haru returned to the library after washing his plate. With all the new faces appearing made things rather uncomfortable. Just another reminder of the new world outside the school doors. One that showed no amount of improvement any time soon. Granted as of right now the safest place was here so for. Though only time would tell if this really was the safest place.

He walked over toward the table which the Algebra book laid on. The young man closed it before walking toward the book shelves. His eyes darted from book to book before releasing a frustrated sigh. The guy's hand combed through his hair while thoughts played through his mind from the least worst scenario to the worst case. Granted everyone else properly had the same things on their minds as well.

Erin Hyde McGarth

Erin just walked around the school avoiding everyone. There was no point in bringing fear into the eyes of more strangers. After all first impressions are everything or at least people whom could be trusted. Which in a way apart of her couldn't and would add more more problems than solutions. Something that Nikki didn't need at the moment.

She just walked, not paying attention to where exactly she was going, well until she stopped. The teenager looked trying to see where in the world she was now. Her head turned seeing a sign with basement with an arrow pointing to the right. She raised an eyebrow before something shuffling caught her attention.

Vincent James McGarth

Vincent walked away from the cafeteria door when he became bored of waiting for Raven. Most likely she snuck out using the Dean’s window or something to that effect. Then again who could tell with his twin sister. Since the woman wouldn't listened to his orders at all. The man made his way to their room of maybe just his room.

When the head of the McGarth was inside he sat down on the bed. In order to figure out his next move Vincent decided to make a homemade chess board on the wall. Somehow he was able to get the pieces of paper to stick to the wall. Each paper had a letter symbolize each chess piece along with a letter on the left of the board and a number on top. Though each one represented either a person, place, or creature.

Jenna heard shuffling and looked around the corner. It was that guy Levi. He appeared to be awake but totally at a loss about everything. Jenna went over to him and put his arm around her neck and she grabbed him around the waist and steared him over to the nearest lazy boy recliner.

"I'm glad you are awake. For a while there it was touch and go. How bad does your foot feel? Matt set the bones back as well as he could without any x-rays. A military medic is good but without the x-rays we can only do so much." Jenna picked up her walkie." Hey Matt? Levi is awake and he is in the recliner near the nurse's station." "On my way." Matt replied.

When Matt arrived he was obviously very stressed and tired. "She isn't back?" Matt shook his head. "No, and depending on where she went it could get much worse."

"She isn't alone is she?" "No, Eric is with her." Jenna smiled at that. "I wouldn't worry, she and Eric were flirting within minutes of meeting. They'll be okay." "I hope so." "It's Nikki, they'll be just fine." He nodded and looked at Levi.

"Jenna can you get him something to eat? I'm betting he is feeling pretty weak right now." Jenna nodded and smiled at Levi. "I'll be right back."

Matt felt Levi's forehead and looked at some of the bruising going away. He knelt down and looked at the foot. It had been severely crushed in certain areas. Matt had done his best with it but he figured it was out of his hands now. He had wrapped it to keep the swelling down and to hold the bones in place. He'd had to make a splint out of a few things he found in the nurse's office and the first aid kits he had found. After unwrapping the foot it he found it to be doing very well. Matt went into the nurse's office and got some frozen ice packs and brought them out. He rewrapped the foot adding the ice packs in to help with the swelling. About that time Jenna came back with a plate of what they had for dinner. She also brought him some gatorade.

Nikki looked out at the sky as she lay in the bed of the truck. She didn't know what was taking Eric so long. She lay there looking at the stars and smiled to herself. She could almost forget about the rest of the world and the unrest with the dead. Then she heard it. The walkers were coming out of the woods on the other side of the field. She closed her eyes and the odd noises they make got louder as they got closer to the truck. She gave up and put her boots and jacket on and put the sleeping bags away. Climbing back through the window she said.

"Well the living would be preferable to the undead. Let's head back to the school."

Once they were back inside the gates she pulled the walkie out and told James that they needed some help with the generator. She jumped down and went inside with her bags that she had gotten from the apartment. She was sure Eric would follow her shortly as James and Zach came out to unload the generator and take it to maintenance.

Nikki went into her room. She started to unpack her stuff and Matt popped his head in the doorway waving a white t shirt as a flag. "Nik? I'm sorry I didn't think about what I was saying. I didn't mean it that way." She nodded. "It's okay. I found something much worse on my own. Nolan was cheating on me." Matt asked, "are you sure?" Nikki nodded. "Yeah, I found her in his apartment stumbling around in lingerie. I couldn't excuse that as something else." She paused and said, "At least now I can move on without guilt."

Matt hugged her. "I'm sorry sis." She nodded and hung her clothes that she could in the closet. "I'm just looking at all of this as my new life. It's too hard to look back at all that we have lost so please don't bring up Nolan again." He nodded. "Fair enough. Night." Nikki nodded as he left her to finish.

Henri was happy to say his resent foray for supplies had gone off without a hitch and had netted him some dry goods, two strong box style ice chests to keep it safe from moisture, three digital camera of along with five pads that could store a Terra of data and a lovely pair of household size solar panels to charge the batteries with.

He'd managed to cut the cell tower lock and replace them with his own to facilitate entry and egress.

At night he spent a few hours before full darkness reviewing his footage and making observational notes careful to keep his illuminate signature down so he didn't attract the living.

He had already seen that to his east at what appeared to be a public building; perhaps a school that here was a group in the process of homesteading. To the north-west was a smaller group of people that were it seeded in the process of establishing a scavenger lair.

The two groups presently worked their own area but soon might clash, too bad for the scavengers because Henri's observations so far gave the Homesteads higher marks for method, execution and technology; they used drones as scouts and had a machine that he balled Babe after Paul Bunyan's mythical Ox.

He knew that he'd soon need to join one group over the other and leaned strongly towards the school but he needed at least another week before he thought he'd have enough data to support his findings so till then he was a solo act.

Tina had spent her time since joining the odd group she was part of fixing the school as a stand alone structure or moving every usable item from the storage buildings taking extra care to transport the trailered two seat amphibious sport plane.

Sure she had no idea of how to fly it but if the group could come across a living pilot they'd have an ability to fly it in any direction for about 700 miles and return with reconnaissance. It was also an advantage of modern society she hated letting go without a struggle.

She'd basically taken over the building logistics section using the Super's office as her bedroom.

She wanted to replace all the lighting with LED to conserve fuel and written up a simple explanation of how much fuel could be saved.

She had also did a cursory estimate of water, food and other needs along with a potential infrastructure failure in four years without parts or outside supplies.

It only took ten seconds of excruciating leg pain for Felix to tap out and be released. Jon stood and then helped his former opponent to his feet. "You put up a good fight my friend, you should join the Watchmen sometime. Now if you'll excuse me i must go and eat something, im starving" Jon shook the mans hand and was on his way. He only had to round the first corner to see Jenna and some guy helping someone bloke who looked badly hurt. "Shit, do you guys need any help with him" He asked

8:30pm Day 10


Jenna looked up and smiled at Jon. "I think we are going to let him sit here for a while. Laying down all the time can make you more stiff and sore than being up and about. How are you two? Is your sparring session over? And would you like to eat now?" Jenna looked him over for anyplace that might be bleeding and was happy not to find anything significant to worry about. "It's getting late and the other guards have gone back to the gates. Where are you guys sleeping?" She looked genuinely concerned about their well being at night.

"Were sleeping in chairs at the sentry posts, we should be fine as long as one person at each post is awake at all times. Anyways im sure i remember you saying you were gonna come out to the walls tonight." He said offering her a hand. "I saw you looking for any injuries but i can assure you both Felix and I are fine. The only thing wounded may be his ego" He joked

"Sleeping in chairs? How are you supposed to be rested?" Jenna looked at Jon and nodded. "I am coming with you. I want to see what conditions you guys are living in. Give me five minutes." Jenna went into her room and grabbed a sweater and then she went to the cafeteria and made him a couple of sandwiches. She glanced at Levi on her way back to Jon and smiled at him. He had a book to read.

She was prepared for a harsh night ahead but at least she would be in good company. She handed him his sandwiches and pulled her sweater on."Okay, let's go."

Jenna looked up at the noise she was hearing. She saw a school bus bust the fence down and ram the side of the school. Jenna screamed. "No!" She got up and ran to the building and banged on the door.

"Let me in!" James was on Door duty and he opened the door and ran towards the gaping hole that was just behind the nurse's office. Jenna looked up and saw Levi's chair was partly under the bus he was dead. Jenna looked around and there were men with various weapons all around them, they stunk and laughed hideous laughter. She saw Zach fall and the guy stabbed him in the head. Darius and Adah were fighting a guy with some pretty hefty brass knuckles and a gun. There were several gunshots which drew more walkers in as well. Jenna turned around and grabbed her her tire iron off of her hip that she carried regularly these days. She bashed the nearest walker and one of the men grabbed her around the waist. She screamed and kicked at him. Jenna heard the baby start screaming and she felt the tears in her own eyes.




Matt jumped up and ran to see what happened and the first thing he saw was the recliner was halfway under a bus and only part of the person in it was left. 'Poor Levi' he thought. The next thing that Matt saw was a man jumping out of the bus as walkers started to climb through the hole. Matt, James and Zach were fighting and so was Felix and he saw Jenna get picked up by one of the larger muscled men and he heard his daughter screaming so he ran towards Kat and the baby.




Nikki felt the building shake and heard an atrocious crashing sound and she got up grabbing her sword and knives and she put her coat on and took off. She glanced at Kat, Matt and Grace. Matt was fighting a man and so was Kat and the baby was under the table screaming. Nikki stopped and shoved her sword through Kat's guy. Matt turned the guy's gun on himself and she moved forward into the main part of the building.

She saw Jenna being dragged kicking and screaming into the cafeteria. Nikki looked around and people were falling left and right. There had to be at least 15 of the looters. They were shooting guns and stabbing people. Nikki ran after Jenna in the cafeteria. One of the men was filling up tubs full of food and other supplies the kitchen had. Nikki heard Jenna screaming as she was being assaulted. Nikki saw Jon and he was trapped by several of the looters. She stabbed a walker, Kicked the guy hurting Jenna and made him fall over the table allowing Jenna a moment to break free. And she grabbed one of the attackers away from Jon. She saw Jenna jump right back into the fray helping Jon. Nikki smiled for a second at that. She realized Jenna was stronger than she looked.

Nikki screamed at Jon to get the others out. Jenna nodded and went back to kicking some guy in the kneecap. She saw Eric fighting a couple of the guys on is own. She saw Clara and Haru fighting as well. She turned back and slammed a walker in the head and turned swinging at one of the men.

Jon Carter

Jon nodded to Nikki and began to pull back from the front line of attacker. "Watchmen, form ranks and keep those bastards busy until i can evacuate the building." Jon shouted as loud as he could, his men immediately falling back slightly to be able to better push them back. "Jenna get people out back through the kitchen exits, get them in any vehicles that have gas in them an go east. Im gonna stay here and help the other fighters." He said grabbing her arm and pushing her behind him. "And please for the love of god take this i dont want a looter to take something so valuable." he said placing the chained sword necklace back in her hand before heading back into the Frey.

Tina was working on improving the hot water supply system cutting it down to a valve system so she could cut it off and on to different sections of the school when they were damaged or uninhabited when she heard a crash.

She snatched up her Remington Semiauto 12 gage which she always had near in this dangerous world and moved quickly but didn't run towards the noise. Her pace resulted in her arriving last what appeared a close quarters engagement with raiders which made her shift the Shotgun to it's sling and draw the big 1911

" BOOM, BOOM, BOOM! Barked the .45 ACP announcing it's presence with attitude.

Tina normally a calm and gentle woman seemed to change into a merciless avenger as she strode into the fray cutting down three raiders a cold killer.

* Girl when it comes time to use that hawgleg in defense of family and friend you just go frosty an knock em down closest ta next an work your way in till only those you care about are breathing* Tina remembered her Grandfather telling her when he explained that pistols was for killing men and to draw one was to kill.

"BOOM, BOOM!" it spat death dealing flaeme sending two goddamned walkers down who gotten in through the breach as Miss Lancaster palmed a fresh clip knowing she had just three shots left in her active mag.

Grace screamed as both looters and walkers attacked. Her screams caused the walkers to head in her direction. Kat began to panic. "Gracie!" she screamed and dove under the table to grab her baby before a walker could reach her. She kicked at the creature as it snarled and tried to sink it's teeth into her leg. Suddenly she was pulled out from under the table backwards thanks to a hand in her hair.
While Matt was fighting off walkers the looters were taking anything they could lay their hands on, including people. The one who had grabbed her hair used his other hand to squeeze her neck. Kat struggled and screamed as her baby was ripped from her arms by another looter. Grace screamed an ear piercing scream as the looter shoved her into a sack.
Kat kicked backwards, getting the guy holding her in the balls. He let go and she attacked the man trying to take her baby with all of the viciousness of a mother lion. She put three deep scratches down the looter's face and neck, digging into his eyes. He dropped the sack and Grace stopped screaming.
Panic filled Kat. "NO!" she screamed in agony and went for the sack. Grace was alive, but she had a large bruise forming on her head where it had hit the floor.

"MATT!" Kat screamed to him as the looter she had donkey kicked loomed over her, furious. He kicked her hard in the stomach, making her cough up blood. He kicked Kat again in the face. She heard rather than felt her nose break. Her eyes stared at the ceiling in a daze. The looter's foot came down on her throat, putting pressure on it to the point where she could barely breathe. The pressure didn't last long. Just as suddenly as he had attacked the man was yanked towards the ground. In his intent on beating Kat he had failed to notice two walkers coming towards him. He screamed as they began to tear into his flesh.

Kat crawled to Grace and cuddled her close, forcing herself to stand. A wave of nausea made her unsteady on her feet. Staggering, she fled the room.
The lower half Kat's face was covered in blood from her bleeding broken nose and she was sure she had a concusion. She waited in the hallway until Matt appeared. He would see Kat trying desperately to wake up her baby.
"Matt," Kat said weakly, tears running down her face. "She has to wake up... please God let her wake up... oh God please not my baby..."

Nikki had stabbed one of the raiders in the back and yanked him out of the room before she had moved on. Matt had chased after one of the guys hitting Kat and he got jumped by two others and he was taking a good beating but he was able to knock the first man out and he was immediately a feast for some hungry walkers. The other two men went down quicker and Matt gutted the one who had been kicking Kat and the last man Matt kicked into a couple of oncoming walkers. He turned around to see Kat carrying a limp Gracie.

"NO!" He grabbed Kat and pulled her into the nurse's office and put Gracie on his lap and started to check her out. "Lock that door and be quiet!"

Matt grabbed the stethoscope and listened to the baby's heartbeat. He didn't have a lot to work with that was okay for babies. He put her little body on the nearest bed and wrapped her little head in bandages that held ice packs in place. He remembered what Nikki had said about the baby Motrin. She had only found three bottles and she had put them in the bottom desk drawer. She had figured no one but Matt would look for them there. He ran to the desk and grabbed them and gave two bottles to Kat and said. "Don't lose those." Matt was not one to go to church but he prayed right now as he gave the baby the only thing he had for inflamation.

They heard gun shots and when the door was shaking as someone tried to beat it down. He grabbed Kat and hugged her close to him to keep her quiet. He wasn't sure how much more she could take. He reached for their baby and put her in Kat's arms. He wasn't sure what to tell her. He was wishing they had a functional hospital. Matt stood up and told her. "Stay here til Nikki or I come back to get you." He put a gun in her hand and gave her the clip in his pocket. I'll lock the door on my way out. Matt kissed Gracie and Kat both. "Take care of our girl." Matt grabbed his knife and opened the door just enough to allow him to lock it and then he was gone out the door and it was closed again.

Jenna saw Matt come out of the nurse's office and she guessed that was where Kat and the baby was."Matt, Kat?" He nodded.

"Gracie is hurt. Are you ok?" Jenna took out another walker as did Matt.

"I'm supposed to get the others out through the kitchen dock." "Where is Nikki?" "Cafeteria! Felix?" "No idea."

Matt headed into the cafeteria. "NIKKI!" He yelled over the noise of the walkers and the fighting. Matt jumped into the fray and started taking the raiders out. He saw the one who had been assaulting Jenna and he saw Nikki send him flying into a wall. Eric was near her and they appeared to be working well together. He went back to get Kat and the baby with Jenna.

Jenna had gotten into the door and yelled to Kat who it was and when the door opened Jenna got inside and Matt shoved his way in right behind her. "It's not safe here we have to get out now."

Matt threw all the medical stuff he could into the bag in the room and he handed it to Jenna and He wrapped Gracie in several of the blankets and made her a little papoose out of a back pack and he strapped it onto Kat so she could have her hands free to fight and still carry the baby. He put the keys to the monster into Jenna's hands. He opened the door. "Kat stay right behind me. Jenna will be right behind you." Matt got the girls through the mess in the main hallway and once he got them to the Monster he Boosted Kat up first and then Jenna.

Jenna locked the doors and started the engine. She wasn't used to driving something this big but she was making it work for her. She back up til she was able to move across the street. She wanted to stay nearby and wait for survivors. She knew if she and Kat left on their own they were going to die. She looked at the necklace she was still carrying in her hand. She hoped Jon was still okay. She swore she would give the necklace back to him, until then she put it on around her neck.

Matt had gone back inside and he was fighting alongside his sister and Eric. After clearing most of the cafeteria they went back into the main hallway and back towards their rooms. Matt grabbed the bags with baby stuff and the extra weapons he had hidden in the room. Nikki and Eric grabbed a few things of their own and Nikki saw James and yelled "James! We gotta go!" She remembered seeing his cousin fall.

Nikki also saw Jon and his group. There were fewer of them but Jon was ok. "Jon! Come on we are leaving."

Nikki looked around and said, "Where is the twin girl and her bf?" Matt nor James had any idea."Shit!"

Nikki ran back in and so did Eric. Matt told Jon and James where the Monster was and to go and to take the stuff he was carrying. "We'll be there soon. Keep the girls safe."
