Stealth let the mouse go before he answered her question "Oh yes, me and Valentina have quite a good history together. We've known each other since we were pups and only a day or so ago we became mates" Stealth told the young girl as he stretched out his body and flicked the dust off his tail before he smiled at the two fox kits.

Valentinia blushed bright red and went over to stealth, " umm um well I need to get back to studies now, Children time to rest actually why don't you to hang with Stealth for a bit and when it is night I will return and sleep with you two tonight and Stealth it's your duty to protect them from anything dangerous that can kill them." The she whispered in his ear I found them deep in the forest wounded greatly by attackers and their clan and parents was killed so they were all alone so became their adopted mother and that makes you their adopted father and when we have our own pups Simi and Maro will help us with them as their siblings." she said and licked Stealth's ear and took off back towards the den for she can continue her alpha lessons.

Simi & Maro:

Simi smiled and laughed a bit at Valentinia's reaction towards what Stealth said. " wow you two made a mate pact, nice and mother's reactions were so interesting and funny when she heard you say that, so I guess we should call you father then since you are our mother's future husband to be. That is amazing you guys known each other ever since you were pups, our mother saved us from death's road we were like 4 months old when she found us in the forest so she saved us greatly before we died alone in the forest." Simi Said to Stealth.

Maro Went over to the two and nuzzled his sister, " Simi remember we made an oath to forget about the horrible things from our past and live a new life with Valentinia, but it just really seems like we are living alone like outcasts of a pack. Well Valentinia is very busy on learning the Alpha ways of a pack so it won't be like when she first found us as 4-month-old kits and plus she has a lover so she will be very busy for now on until she becomes the alpha of her pack when her brother leaves the pack,, but we will be older by that time she introduce us to her pack." he said to Simi as his tail swayed.

Stealth laid down so he was eye level with the two kits before he smiled and said "You know, my mother brought me and my two sibling among the Vixan cubs as well, I know fox culture quite well. So I will happily teach you all you need to know about growing up as foxes instead of wolves"

Simi & Maro:

Simi looked at Stealth and tilted her head. " but father shouldn't we learn the wolf ways of living if Mother is going to let us join a wolf pack? Since foxes and wolves aren't suppose to coexist in the same land or territory. I don't mind knowing the fox's way of living since we are foxes anyways, but father it would be awkward since we grew up as a foxes not knowing the way of the wolves." she said to Stealth as her tail swayed.

Maro looked at his sister and why is she was calling this wolf "father" ? " well I don't mind how we are raised, I just want to have a family and a place I can call home not a temporary place to stay. Mother said wolves are more pack driven then foxes, since Reynerd foxes breed with many vixens they can get their paws on, I'm not that crazed of breeding with many Vixens no matter how desperate I will get in the future." he said to stealth as his tail swayed.

Stealth chuckled as Simi called him father so he choose to say "Well my Daughter and son, its better to know your original culture first before I teach you the wolf way. After all, if your not taught the fox way. It will strain your mind and soul as you will feel like you are a outcast or that your not good enough which will eventually lead to you becoming feral and having nothing but you instincts. I know of a Vixan called Jasmine who actually grew up with the Wolves many years ago, she even found a mate among the wolves and breed with him producing 4 children, however her fox side was distressed and growing more and more violent as it was suppressed, she eventually could not handle the stain of her mind and lashed out killing both her mate and two of her children. When she regained control, she was terrified of what she had done and ran away abandoning her children and eventually she reverted into a feral fox who had to be put down by three wolf packs since her wolf and Fox sides were at war with each other and no one could help her"

Simi & Maro:

Simi looked at Stealth as her tail swayed " I think that would be better than being killed off by wolves if I go crazy like that vixen you just told us about but, weren't you and mother be very busy when comes to be spring when wolf pups are born. Since I know that learning one way of living will take a long time since mother kinda tech some wolf ways before you came father so we learn things by bits and pieces so in might take a while or so to start from scratch learning the way of foxes, but since we are kits we have time to learn new ways to live, but won't there still be conflict in the mind if we learn the way of a fox and then later learn the ways of wolves won't that confuse our minds father?" she asked stealth.

Maro just watched stealth and Simi, but he already knew that foxes and wolf instincts will always battle against each other no matter what Simi and Stealth tried since wolves and foxes aren't suppose to coexist with each other anyways in this world his tail swayed as he listened to Simi and Stealth talk with each other.

Stealth chuckled softly as he said "My daughter, Alphas don't have the same heat clock as most wolves do. While many will breed in the spring, it's an Alpha's job to ensure that breeding season goes with any problem. Myself and Valtina are still young wolves, as well as only betas and as such we don't have the drive to breed to make pups yet. It will still be another year before we can do it since we are newly mated wolves and our creator Fenris always said that you are judged for a year after you first become mates to ensure you are happy with your partner as a happy life means the children will grow up happy"

Simi & Maro:

Simi Smiled as her tail wagged happily and she stood up and nuzzled stealth happily and yipped then smiled. " that means mother and you will be dealing with me and Maro, for couple more years until we are adults. isn't mother taking the alpha female position soon father? because it seems that her brother wants to leave the pack after mother completes her alpha training within the wolf pack lands and once she complete those trainings she will be promoted to alpha position of the pack." she said to stealth with wonder.

Maro watched them then went over to his sister and laid down " I have a question sir, how can wolf and fox coexist with each other and have offspring and won't the two sides of your mind clash no matter which ways we learn, like the fox way or the way of the wolf. the fox you told us about might of grew up as fox then her fox family die and she was a young adult when she was learning the ways of the wolf not at the beginning when she was super young like me and simi here. we have no clue what we were born from since Valentinia took care of us even though we were like tiny babies just old enough to eat meat. when Valentinia raised us so we have no clue if we are foxes or wolves.since our fox instinct really didn't get really rooted in our instincts or hearts sir." he said to Stealth.

Stealth though about his question for a few minute before he said "You know, I think that will be your decision in the end my son. You can ether choose the way of the wolf or the way of the fox. But you still need to learn how to be a fox before you become a wolf and I think I have a friend who could teach you"

Simi & Maro:

Simi sighed at her brother's question and looked at Stealth and smiled as her tail swayed. " well I'm up for the challenge father, and Maro is actually half domesticated Fox so I'm guessing our biological father was a domesticated Marble fox and maybe our biological mother was a silver fox, so I doubt Maro has a high Feral fox gene in his genes. So father what do you think do domesticated fox gene can do to the decision of a fox or becoming a wolf will the instincts still make a domesticated fox go insane like the fox you told us about?" she said to Stealth.

Maro kept his distance from stealth and looked away, " well if you think it will be good to experience a fox's instincts then I have no choice, but to listen to you and that friend of yours Sir. I still think it might be harder than you think to teach us the ways of a fox." he said and curled up in a ball.

Stealth shrugged as he could not answer every question about foxs. After all, he was born a wolf and that was the traditions he followed. "I don't know Simi, I honestly could not tell you if the domestic fox gene affects feralness or not. All I can tell you is that, I want you two to remember your true heritage before you learn the wolfs way as there are certain things in the wolf way that would cause problems for you both since you are foxes but if you know the fox way of doing it then that will give youa chance"

Simi:

" I'm up for trying out the fox ways, but how can we do that since mother almost taught us how to hunt like a wolf and move like a wolf pack instead of single fox hunts, she also taught us the laws of a wolf pack and their rankings. So how are we gonna to focus on the true ways of foxes when the wolf laws and their rankings plus the way they hunt is still fresh in our minds since she taught ever since we were small kit pups Father?" she said to stealth curious and unsure how to learn new ways since their adopted mother taught them most of their lives about wolf ways.

Maro:

He just sighed and looked at Stealth and Simi." I bet my sister would like the fox ways and actions better then wolves so she might become a lone Vixen and live as a fox in the wild even though it would be very dangerous for a young fox to leave this territory since not all wolves are going to accept a fox in their territory so she even might get herself killed in the long run, but if simi is joining the fox ways lesson then I have no excuse to not do the same, but I will never accept my heritage simply like Simi would." he said to stealth as his tail swayed.
