Dunno. We assume death is the worst possible outcome. But the current state of Spam in pretty awful.

This has happened several times. A light jab at me for no discernible reason other than (I presume) nostalgia. And then the peanut gallery joins in and turns it into a school playground scene.

You're laughing along but it's not actually funny. It's just "fun."

I'm fine being joked on or criticized when it's about something other than a distant memory. That's fair. But this shit is straight up deranged.

I am some amount of traumatized from how my awkward self was treated here some time back.

So now when certain names gang up on me for no discernible reason, it reminds me of how I felt back then. No matter how much I've changed or matured, it's still a memory and it's still sensitive.

It doesn't matter how harmless your initial actions may seem, because the end result is clearly fucking with my head.

You may have harmless intentions. But if you do, I think you're grossly incompetent.

If you were paying attention, then you'd know that when a handful of people that used to be somewhat opposed to me "harmlessly" gang up on me, I freak out. It's happened like half a dozen times or more.

If you noticed this, then that makes it all not very harmless, doesn't it?

It's not a conscious decision to get upset.

And the decision to call people out for letting this happen to me again, when the cause and effect is apparent and preventable, was as conscious as your average emotional freak out. Conscious, but not in one's right mind.
