"I've gotta get outta here..." She was running. From whom or what, she did not know. All she knew was that it was big, fast, strong... and terrifying. She had been sprinting through this Slender-like forest for what seemed like forever. "I've gotta figure out where this place is, how I got here... and how to get out." She thought. Suddenly, she tripped. Flying to the ground, she did a massive 'face plant.' She sat up, looking back to where she had been running. From out of nowhere, a stone tablet had appeared. She picked it up, but didn't have time to read it. A menacing, guttural, growl sounded from somewhere behind her as a reminder that she needed to keep moving. So she did, taking glances behind her from time to time. She studied the tablet as she ran. It said,
"It is a dream. It has all been a dream. None of this exists. But it might soon. You have unlocked the power inside you, as many others have over the years. They have been attacked. Some were killed, some lived on to fight another day. Some hated the responsibility, some embraced it. Sounds a lot like Inhumans, right? Wrong. This is in real life, not the MCU. You must learn how to control your powers before it's too late. We trust that you will do what is necessary to survive. But right now, you need to wake up."
She thought, "What?" But, all of a sudden, the world started to spin. It was slow at first, but got faster and faster until she had to stop running. She felt herself falling over. As she slowly drifted into unconsciousness, she knew in her heart that a new chapter of her life was beginning.
