@Harley Q I think Juliana is so far the only Hyland lady that understands ladylike composure. Perhaps she's gonna be more friendly to Tybalt than her sister and brothers.

As a sidenote, I guess, Tybalt doesn't actually hate the Hylands. Well, maybe he hates the individuals in it now because they insulted him, but still.

@Buddha Hahah they are a high strong breed, but Juliana knows her role and how to play it to her advantage. I can see her being civil with Tybalt, especially if she thinks he knows something about the secret in her own family.

Our family has sired alot of bastards, we had a failed proposal to a gully and then another gullys honor was insukted by us so we possibly just lost his friendship i think given everything inviting a servant is the least concerning but i still want drama to be caused so i can watch with glee :P

@MrMonsoon Haha oh we have our problems, I just see the servant as an insult to the whole family that they could do without. Even in GOT a bastard of the family didn't sit with them during important events, and given this event is about showing off? Either way, I'm sure there will be drama lol

@Buddha Oh most definitely. I can see it being beneficial for both of them. Perhaps we can find a mutual understanding. Maybe during the tournament before the King dies?

@Harley Q I've noticed that while the Hylands' all mean well, they're not the greatest at understanding medieval complexities. Perhaps something to keep in mind. Insulting a man with over 19 years of experience as a knight isn't so smart. Especially if he's armed.

Juliana on the other hand seemed to grasp the situation.

Tybalt will be speaking to her, in a more private setting, I suppose.

@Buddha Haha oh they are over confident in their positions I think. The children had fairly sheltered lives. I'm assuming once some hardship comes their way they will start to learn the hard way.

Sounds lovely, I'm sure her curiosity will make her receptive.

I have read more than one book about medieval times so I am personally terrified, as Lyra is, of what Trystan's mother will do to her because of her son's attention to a servant lol

No, it's hard to have dogs since they wouldn't occur naturally on islands like that of the Serpents Roost.

@Harley Q Dogs can always be bought however.

Besides I think using them to feed sharks out at sea would be a tad worse.
