Griffin rolled her eyes. "Weare suppose to blend in Joseph. Not stick out. We are also suppose to be first year students. Not somrone who go thrown out of the seventies. You also don't need an allias. We met most of the first years yesterday remember?" he thought his partner was being ridiculous but he didn't really mind the younger man's quirkiness.

David walked into the classroom, irritated by how early he was, but even more irritated that he was assigned a partner six years younger than him. And the most annoying one at that. David ran back to her dorm as quickly as he could, while still retaining his composure, first testing the key she gave him and then slamming the door open to find his partner... sleeping. On the second day. "You stupid idiot!! Wake up; you're late!" He prepared to dodge the pillow, or better yet anvil that was inevitably heading his direction. From bantering friends to partners, and little could be much worse. Though they had known each other well for years, they were partners now, and he had never wanted to get to know her this well.

Luckily for the two of them, the room was empty of occupants other than the sleeping sword-girl who was being rudely awakened. Kari went from lying on her stomach to a position best described as "physically impossible" as her face was now upside down and pointed at her partner, her back bending at a painfully unnatural angle. As she stared at him, as much as one could stare with their eyes closed, she grunted once in annoyance. "If you somehow know that I'm late, then you're an even bigger pervert than I thought. Which is pretty bad considering you're in the girls' dorms."
Having said this, she immediately fell forward so that she was once again lying flat on her front, instantly asleep once again.

When Chimera arrived at school it was still rather early and no one else seemed to have arrived yet. The girl walked inside and took out a notebook and her guitar. She played some notes then recoded them on a music sheet inside the notebook. After that the teen delete process.

Zack showe red and shaved before making his way out of the bathroom. He had a towel wrapped around his waist. "The showers all yours." he told Maka. He gave her his most charming sme as he headed to the dresser to get some clothes on. He was excited about his first full day with his partner. Maybe this time they would get a chance to do more then talk. He was eager to know if they could sync or not.

Maka nodded, a small smile on her face when he smiled. She stepped toward the bathroom and showered. She wouldn't take long because she didn't do makeup or anything fancy. She just put her hair into 2 pony tails that rested on her shoulders and came out. Her eyes glanced at Zack, wanting to talk, but was too nervous and quiet. Instead, she went and grabbed her bag and books.

Zack headed out as soon as Maka was ready. Today was going to be exciting. They were going to be able to see how well they could work together. He hoped that there wouldn't be any problems. He liked Maka. She balanced him. She was quiet where he was outgoing. He thought that was a very good thing. Now they juse needed to learn to combine theit abilities.

Maka enjoyed Zack back. Zack was outgoing and kind. She smiled a little at the thought of how balanced they were. Maka pulled out a green book she was holding and set the others in her big bag. She opened it to a page she was on and continued reading. On one side, there was a picture of two people in a fighting pose, meister and weapon.

David kicked with enough force to send her flying into the wall, but not enough to do any serious damage. "Get to class." With every passing second, he further questioned whether she could be considered a childhood friend. But since he couldn't do anything about it at the moment, he elected to begin walking to the class himself before they were both late. "And if you're expelled, I'm not bailing you out. You've used me as your scapegoat too many times." Slightly annoyed, but not too much so, he walked down the hall.

A few steps later, there was a weight on David's leg as Kari firmly attached herself to it. "You know I can't sleep in weapon mode. Just carry me damnit." she managed to mumble during her short time awake before falling asleep for a third time.

"Let's get going Maka. We don't want to be late. I heard that we were going to have a practice mission so everyone can try connecting on a soul level." he thought they would have an easy time connecting. Their soul wave lengths had been studied before they were matched so they should be compatible. But it would be nice to see for sure.

Maka nodded. "Alright, sounds good." Maka responded glancing at him. She bit her lip before telling him a story. "You know, I don't like being late. It was funny yesterday. I was late because my annoying father tried to make pancakes and spend father daughter time. I tried to tell him that I was late, but he insisted to feed me burnt pancakes." Maka told him, a small smile on her face.

As Dante walked up the stairs to the school he thought if there was no one left were he was late what would he do. I geuss I would get schooled if he hadl to go on a mission he said interaly. He walked in the doors but he became lost quickly in the halls.

Chimera took a break from the song and was writing and played a just a random song choice. Five Finger Death Punch's Wrong Side of Heaven sounded in the room and spilled into the hallway.

Catherine sat in her private office, a warm cup of tea resting in front of her as she was sitting there, closing her eyes. It was something she had to deal with on a daily basis, something which would assault her the moment she let her attention wander.

"Hey, hey," a childish and sickenly sweet voice called out from across the desk, "wake up! Don't you have class to teach?"

Opening her eyes, Catherine glared at another Catherine Madenmosel, this one lying on the desk with her head propped by her hands and kicking her legs up and down in the air like a child. It didn't help that she completely acted like one too.

"I do." she nodded, taking another sip of her tea, "and when I head out is none of your business."

"aww, don't be like that, Cathy. You can't be mean to yourself! That's the sign of a disturbed person. So is talking to yourself, but what do they know? Pfft!" she rambled, blowing a raspberry at the end.

"Demented is relative."

"You're right." the "other" Catherine nodded sagely, eyes closed. "The other witches all think you're demented because you're over here, helping the Meisters. All of these people might want to kill you. Isn't that rather demented of you?"

Catherine didn't respond, only setting down her cup.

"Aw, come on!" the "other" Catherine continued. "Oh, are you angry! Is that it? Are you feeling blame for betraying your fellow witches like that? Do you feel blame? Are you mad? Do you feel like wolf kabob Roth vantage? Gefrannis booj pooch boo jujube; bear-ramage. Jigiji geeji geeja geeble Google. Begep flagaggle vaggle veditch-waggle bagga?”

Her temples twitched and energy flared around her for a moment be she restrained herself, instead standing up from her seat and tapping her parasol on the ground firmly. When she turned again, the "other" Catherine was gone. However, her hallucination spoke one last time.

"You know you want it. The Sway of magic - everyone gives into it sometime. It's only a matter of time, not if~"

Opening the door, Catherine stepped out of her empty office and towards the classroom, the music spilling into the hallway simply replacing one annoyance in her mind with another.

Chimera just finished the song when she saw the teacher coming. Last thing that Loki needed to scold her about was playing music in school, so she placed the instrument back into its case, with an innocent look upon her face. When the teacher came in the term was sitting down as if she was there the whole time." Morning."@LaXnyd

Zack laughed at the charming little story. He had heard about Maka's father. He wasn't sure what to think. He didn't want to judge the man on rumors alone. He would wait until he met the man. Which would happen eventually. But he wasn't going to rush it. He needed to get to know Maka first. She was his partner so she was the important one. "Let's go. I don't want to be late. I heard they are doing something special today."

"But didn't the first years already see us?" Joseph asks, before walking back into his room, and quickly changing. Joseph grabs a granola bar, and rushes to the door. "I feel like were at a disadvantage with this whole, blending in thing." Joseph says, while gesturing to his punk rock outfit. "But, I guess we can worry about that when we get into class, c'mon." Joseph begins to eat the granola bar, while stepping out the door.
