Appearance: Although one would suspect those under demonic influence would have some sort of notable physical change, that is not the case. For the most part, Jacob appears perfectly normal, although he does omit a sort of uncomfortable aura for a lot of people. He towers above many, and most in his family, standing at 6'2". His cheekbones are high and prominent, visible underneath taut, olive skin. Along with this, there are the faint shadows of sleepless nights taking the form of crescents around his blue-grey eyes. His oblong and somewhat ghastly-looking face is topped off by slicked-back, pitch hair.

Details: Contrary to popular belief, most demons are raised in relatively human-esque households. That is to say, although they have to be trained to be physically capable of defending themselves at all times for fear of attack by a Hunter or one of their own kind, demons are not as emotionless and lacking of empathy as one would suspect.
Jacob's childhood was as normal as a childhood gets. He did not attend public school, but he had many friend around his neighborhood, along with his younger brother. The only real tragedy that happened in his life was that his mother died giving birth to his brother, and he was too young to really understand it then.
His father worked hard to train Jacob and Nicholas both to the best of their physical abilities. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, their "species" was discovered, and Jacob and Nicholas were encouraged by their father to flee the state. They did. As fate would have it, they never heard from their father again. However, they now live together in a high-rise building inside the city limits.
