Mirabelle Tullia Rosier
(called "Mira" by her family)
Age:
13
Appearance:
House:
Ravenclaw
Wand:
Sycamore, Dragon Heartstring
Personality:
Mira, on the surface, is well-behaved, speaks only when spoken to, and is somewhat shy. Though on her own or with a trusted ally, she is obnoxiously curious and has a deep desire to know what's behind every closed door. She's very good at entertaining herself, is truly an explorer, and often finds herself in situations where she must hide or risk punishment for sneaking around. Free-spirited as she may be, Mira was raised to respect authority and to do as she was told, but still finds it hard to follow this strict way of life. Besides exploring and sticking her nose in places it does not belong, Mira loves to read and is a very intelligent young lady. Biting her tongue was never a specialty of hers and she is certainly no stranger to disciplinary action. Deep down, Mira is lonely and would love a real friend who truly gets her, as she has always found it very hard to find anyone who doesn't find her very peculiar and strange. However, she's had great practice at hiding her true feelings and goes about her days hiding behind a mask to keep her true identity, wants, and desires secret.
Bio:
Although she has his name, Arturo Rosier is not Mira's real father. Her true parentage remains unknown to all except her mother, though Mira has always had a slight inkling that the man who raised her did not share her same blood. Mira grew up practically alone at the Black Estate having no siblings until she was 9 years old with only servants to look after and care for her. Her parents were often away from home and when they were around, neither her mother nor her father made an effort to give her the love and nurturing she so desperately wanted from them. Her father didn't care much for her until he discovered that she was quite the talented witch. Even then, his main concern was how often she was using magic to develop her ability. As a result, Mira is somewhat detached from her parents and family. Having the chance to go away to school was the best thing to happen to her.
Plotting:
Mira's true father has yet to be discovered and is still very much a secret to everyone-including Arturo. I'm pretty positive that if it was revealed that her mother had a child with another man, pureblood or not, it would bring a whole lot of shame and scandal to the family. She might clash with others who find her curiosity and thirst for freedom off-putting. Mira is also from two old pureblood families, so being forced into an arranged marriage with another pureblood son is very likely to happen in the day and age this roleplay takes place.
Family:
Mira's parents are both from distinct, pureblood families. Her father, Arturo, was born into the infamous Rosier family and her mother, Alys, hails from the ancient and notorious Black family. Mira is the eldest and has three other younger siblings: twin brothers, Pollux and Castor, and a sister, Sabine. Arturo is not her real father, and the real one is still unknown.
