-Can be a demon of your choosing.

- A human, demon hunter/priest
- Has special abilities(up to you, we'll discuss it ^^)
- Has traveled from a distant land to find the Sibyl/oracle of his god(which is Hikari)
-The rest of the persona is up to you
- We can discuss his god also, it has to do something with eyes and magic(i was thinking like a god of seers or something) but we can discuss whatever ideas you have ^^
- he would eventually show a love interest in Hikari

*Other Demon lords/Ladys's::
- The appearance and abilities are up to yourself entirely.
- They would be the antagonist, more so trying too bring sorrow too the plot, and force the Priest and the Demon lord too work together

Alright, I'll bite. Though I'd prefer it if the entire persona was in my control, including his opinion of her. I'm not a fan of predetermined romance.

@Lurkerlurks Aight, so, here are my terms. I gotta be in complete control of personality and opinions. The 'he knows how to fix her' thing seems like a cop out, I feel like it would be much better if they fell for each other despite her being blind. Also Demon lord.

The demon lord.

I would be interested in playing an antagonistic character. Perhaps a rival demon lord/lady looking to take primary demonlords lands by any means necessary ( political machinations, cleaver manipulation, all out war if needed )

Alternatively, but far less easy to regularly fit into the story I have this idea of a Miko who died tragically and violently in a manner involving demons, who has now turned into this very powerful vengeful spirit wanting to rid the world of all demons and any who cling to a demons power.

Perhaps both could play a role? The rival lord being a more constant character with the Miko being sort of this dark horse figure on the edges of of the conflict until a more climactic point?

I could work a plot for either or at this point, since the idea is very general.
The antagonist would be good, but the miko idea can be worked in as well ^^

I might be interested, I'm only really playing one RPG on site right now, some additional commitment might serve to keep me around a bit more...which would help my posting habits.

To further explain my reasoning, the only anime I ever really watched was Inuyasha...so some good memories there as well. What roles are still open? Going over the thread, it seems...somewhat confused.

My initial thought is an unconventional demon lord:



Perhaps leading/subscribing to a sect based off the historical Ikko-Ikki.

Right now, the only role that is open is the Priest.
Hikari is taken and @rush99999 has claimed dibs on the demon lord,
i just don't scratch em out until i see the character sheets.

If you are interested in a demon lord/lady there will only be four HEAD ones.
North, south, east and west.
However, if you wanna play some sort of demon leader, that can be worked with as well.

Firstly, thank you for the response.

I think I'll pitch the concept (which has rapidly taken on a life of it's own and is scaring me, just a tad, because of that). The main role of these lords and ladies are, as I understand it, to challenge the demon lord and priestess, and force unity. With that in mind, there are many types of challenges-martial, physical, challenges to bloodline, politics...the like.

But a challenge to morality is something I'd be most interested in, not in the sense of temptation precisely-but what fascinated me about the Ikko-Ikki was the challenge they posed, historically to the system-a different ideal of religion, a different ideal of government and lord-peasant relations. Even if their portrayal in media is somewhat inaccurate.

So ideally, this lord would pose the same kind of challenge-an enemy to the established practices and governments of the land-meaning he has reason to oppose the demon lord half of the priestess/demon lord pairing and to target them-a lord's a lord, a lord after all. But by the same token, he'd likely be opposing the other demon lords as well-opening up possible "enemy mine" situations with the main pairing-be it with this lord or against him.

Basically, someone in the villain's role who is not, in and of himself, villainous. Who challenges the heroes both physically, in battle, politically, as he opposes the system that the Demon Lord part of the pairing is related too, or at least, born of, and finally, morally and ethically-he's not a bad man, but one they'll still end up fighting, possibly killing. Which, in and of itself, brings sorrow to the story, and could strengthen or weaken the bond between the main pairing accordingly.

Hope I'm making sense.
