Rainy days for the muse

About me: 

- Twenty-ish, shortly put; old,
- A weeb otaku,
- Work-a-holic in the summer, an university student the rest,
- Writes several paragraphs of around seven/eight lines,
- High-casual/Advanced,
- Plays all genders equally, 
- Loves metaphors, can be cryptic, don't be afraid to ask! 
- Appreciates consistent grammar and spelling
- Third person writer,
- Prefers thread over PM's,
- Constantly seeking for improvement,
- Slow with responses, generally once a week,
- Loves to discuss ideas that move the plot,
- Quality over quantity, so don't worry about the length of posts, unless it is only few sentences long


What I'm looking for: 
- Preferably someone over the age of eighteen,
- Knows how to advance a plot; GM-qualities,
- Unafraid to write and to speak up about concerns,
- Casual/Advanced,
- Has consistent grammar and spelling; knows how to use punctuation, write understandably English, etc...
- Writes in third person,
- Knows how to write at least one paragraph, or more,
- Knows what they want when looking for a role play with me, 
- Dedicated, seeking for long term partners,
- Doesn't mind waiting for posts, 
- Doesn't scorn constructive criticism and can give some themselves as well


Disclaimer: 
- I generally don't like to double in 1x1's, maybe later in the game, but certainly not at the start. For fandom role plays I can make an exception if it involves an original character from the series itself with an OC, but not more than two. 
- No smut, 
- If I'm already doing a certain plot/pairing/setting with someone else I'm most likely not going to do it with someone else as well,
- I play all genders equally, and leave you to choose what you want to play. If I'm, however, already playing a bunch of females/males, I can decline an offer to play said gender, 
- General role play etiquette apply, no godmodding, meta-gaming, power playing, etc, I will call you out on that nonsense, you will have to respect that,
- Mutual respect is a big thing, 
- Know what you want, what you want to play, what gender you want to play, etc... Don't come to me with vague answers, or 'letting' me choose. I tend not to do well with passive personalities,
- If I feel like we aren't on the same page, or anything else that could obstruct our collaboration, I will address the matter, discuss it and then decide whether to continue, or to stop. I like to keep things light and fun, but if it becomes a chore I'm sure to stop,

So, reading through all that I hope that you have a solid idea of what kind of player I'm and what I'm looking for. If not, feel free to ask, I try to be a friendly drizzle and not launch a storm. I'm looking for long-term role play partners that are willing to give me feedback on my work and aren't afraid to receive some back themselves. Down below you will be able to find some original plots, as well as fandoms that I'm willing to role play. If they aren't crossed out yet they are still open for application, if you have anything to suggest yourself you may approach me as well. 

As the name says it this is a story based on the fairy tale of ‘Rumpelstiltskin’. Who said that by knowing someone’s name makes them a friend? One could even make friends without knowing the other’s name. Set in the modern day world involving two people who become friends. This could happen over an online forum, thus the internet. My idea, however, was, to make it more complicated, because I love complicated, that they know of each other in real life, become friends, but never asked for the name of the other. Or something else in the same fashion. Really.


Another fairy tale adaptation! This one has several directions we can go into. Character A was never considered a beauty when young. Nose too big, perhaps a little chummy. When growing up into puberty things got all a little awkward because of the hormones. Severe acne, hair everywhere, a weird odour always hanging around them. Shortly put, Character A was the freak show of the school. Character B, however, always had been graced with good looks.
Story 1) They frequently taunted A for it as well. However as they graduate high school and skip a few years forward A suddenly has changed a lot! Seems like they were a late bloomer, but of no matter. B, who is still looking good as ever suddenly grows interested in A, not realising that it is the very same person they had once taunted. A knows, however, so how will A react? 
Story 2) B made a silly bet with their friends. They have to take the freak of school, which is A, and turn them into one of them. Everyone thinks it is impossible, so does B, but a bet is a bet and they have no other choice but to do their best.


Character E has fallen hard. They decide to write Character F, a stranger whose name and address they happened to find and pick up on. Character F initially has no idea what to do with E, but sympathising with their situation they decide to offer an ear. However, what started out as an exchange between a venter and a spectator soon turns into an intimate correspondence between two.
This role play shall mostly happen in letter format.


This one is somewhat harder to play out, since the characters won’t be interacting with each other directly. Character G and H were former lovers who separated through a particularly bad break-up (up for discussion). Both are trying to live their lives separated from each other, but can’t help but feel that everything they do, come across and touch reminds them of the other. Meeting new people, facing new challenges, they keep on thinking of the other. Will they be able to move on without the other? 

The idea here is that we weave past and present through each other. Character G and H both are living their lives in the present time without the other, this can be years after the break up, or very recent. However, with everything they do they are reminded of the other again, which expresses itself in flashbacks. How these flashbacks are filled is up to the author themselves, the other will have to respond to it accordingly like how it goes in actual role playing, we don’t discuss this except from some general details.
