To whomsoever is reading this, let me start off that i am deeply humbled by the fact that you took the time to actually even read this.
I have been wandering for about 8 years looking for a decent enough RP group/page/site that isnt just filled to the brim with copy and paste characters, or OC's with not much thought put in to them. no real depth to their character no sense of originality at all.
I would like to apologize now if my standards are "over the top" or even the slightest thought that i even think theyre over the top standards. its been pretty lonely these past 8 years with nothing but petty RP groups here and there, oh and apologies in advance if im too elitist or strict sometimes, loneliness apparently is pretty harsh on your social level towards people.
Now that horrible part is over lets have some breakfast...oops.
My OC's generally lean toward really aged creatures/people who have been around since forever, it makes it easier for me to justify their powers and mastery of certain skills. Also i have some bloodcrazed monster or beast or a once bloodlusty warrior, grown tired of war and killing and is now more or less a pacifist that has his past haunt him. and fears the consequences should said character fight again.
A common theme among my OC's is the fact that outside their field of expertise, say Arcane arts or Combat arts. theyre completely aloof when it comes to daily mundane things that what would a normal person do in a situation. as such expect such moments from time to time
I am not very confident in my writing skills, even though im bombarded with praises from peers, most of the time i end up getting called a godmodder, this was due to me using an old arch-mage who had mastery over portals as an OC, you can imagine the angst/anger people with "unavoidable attacks" feel when i open up a portal and redirect it somewhere else, namely them.
I am also open to suggestions, and would love a general discussion of random stuffs OOC.
