1. There's nothing to do.
2. ANY store is at least a 30 minute drive.
3. You can't look out your window and be reassured that civilization exists beyond your own pathetic life by all the glorious skyscrapers.
4. It smells like farm. Woods=good! Farm=sh*tty.
5. Super slow internet speeds.
6. ???

1. You don't need to be around people to do things, there are plenty of ways to spend time.

2. That way you spend less money.

3. But you don't have to deal with the multiple downsides of urban life, and if you think skyscrapers are beautiful, I fear for you.

4. Then move around, I guarantee the farm smell doesn't cover the entirety of rural america.

5. THEN GO OUTSIDE OR READ A BOOK.

Rofl! I literally laughed at that xD

I used to love away from town like that. It has it's downsides to be sure. And skyscrapers are beautiful in their own way--it's architecture. High rises and skyscrapers have a beauty in and of themselves.

That said, being in the city you also have to deal with assholes and morons on a daily basis, which isn't fun. And you see less nature, which sucks if you love animals! So it's a tradeoff :p

Rural life sucks, dude. I'm much more at home near a place with a lot of buildings.

I'm very much a city girl. With, of course, the exception of being assailed by strangers "complimenting" me when I just want to get down the damn street.

And the fear of muggings.

I love the country life, but then again, I've never even been to a city unless I had business there.

So I have no idea what it's even like in a city.

I can't shoot things in the city, have bon fires, breathe clean air, see stars/ Northern Lights, or let a dog run around.

Rural's much, much nicer and often times, more beautiful. Glass and concrete is hardly interesting, nor is being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of self-important assholes who are overstimulated with a lack of attention span.

Don't get me wrong, i much prefer the country life too--but I can se the beauty of a city to some extent, with the wonderful skylines and lights at night. I much rather live in a quiet country home though, with a couple horses a dog, and a cat too.

Eh, skylines don't do anything for me. Really unique architecture isn't exactly common, so it's not like you'd see it all the time, and the same thing with lights at night; I'd much rather things be dark instead of fake. Usually, cities are just a bunch of interchangeable buildings and a lot of cars.

I much prefer urban environments.

When I'm traveling though, I do think places relatively unmolested by humankind to be the best places.
