I am going to do an Ellen post, probably after the time skip, it's extraordinarily frustrating not being able to post in piratepad :(

I had to recheck Old Raygate's list of things-that-exist, but other than that, the collaboration is going smoothly, I think. We seem to be on the same page, at least. More progress tomorrow.

So, I've been putting a lot of thought into it and I've decided that I'm probably going to have to drop from this RP. Large group stuff like this was never really my style, and while it was fun to experiment, I've realized pretty quickly that I don't have the head for it. Especially because I'm going back to school in less than a week, so I'll have even less time to read through all the posts and find a place to force my characters into things.

Feel free to do whatever you want with Nick and April; April could be handwaved as being killed off in the battle, I think, or she could stick around as an NPC (probably to get killed at a later date). Nick, I think, might make a fun minor villain NPC later in the story, but maybe you just want to kill him off too. Not my RP anymore.

Terribly sorry it's got to be this way, but I figure it'd be best to just let you all know now rather than just drift away and have y'all waiting for me. Good luck in exploring this huge, crazy narrative - I really do hope it takes you to some interesting places.

Aw yeah, time for that timeskip post babies. Lots of foreshadowing and evil shit going on. Anyone can interact with my characters as always, but I'm currently looking into ways to drag as many characters as possible into the Founding Family conflict. Either through The Black Hound, Veronica, or the new evil dude. If you have any ideas, be sure to give me a shout.

Also, since they've been revealed, I'm also going to make NPC sheets for the Blessed Three and post them now.

So...some actual information:

Going on three days ago, I checked in to a local hospital because a chronic tooth pain blew up into a full-force abcess overnight. That abcess then ruptured, causing my cheek to swell like the budget for US defense forces, so I figured it merited a closer inspection by professionals. What can I say? I'm the cautious type.

The first day, they had me on 8 hour rotations of antibiotics via IV drip, prescribed acetaminophen/hydrocodone for the pain, etc, etc. The third time I went in (second day), the nurse checked a little closer and determined I was a risk for blood poisoning. No more outpatient therapy after that. I was admitted.

Tomorrow will mark the third day of my stay at this fine, fine vacation spot, and there is nothing I would like better than to go home. I can't sleep, the medication prevents me eating any meaningful amount of food, and they've run enough fluids through me to make Hurricane Katrina look like a neighbor's overflowing kiddie pool, so (naturally), I have to pee every 5 minutes.

They said it might be possible to discharge me tomorrow, though, and these people have (all jokes aside) literally waged war on this infection. I would have died without them; point blank. Organ failure can occur within 20 minutes if enough of that bacteria gets into your blood. So, as much as I don't want to be here anymore, I have to thank them as much as I'm able for what they did for me.

NoSuchThing, I will be looking into that collab tonight, and trying to see if there's anything else I can do to/with/about/for it. I do not guarantee content, but I can promise effort towards it.

I'll let you guys know when I'm out. Thanks for the invite to this roleplay. I hope I don't get delayed any further.
