@Divinity

I'd imagine it's like that one broken Naruto power, with like the black fire that burns anything. Except, you know, lightning here.

@HarbingerKurahi

Let's have a match so you can get warmed up!

Should I assume that Kurahi isn't faster than the speed of sound, movement-wise? Whenever I don't mention character speeds, that's because they are still reasonably within the limits square/cube law and don't dart around any more quickly than peak human/peak animal.

If that's the case and he's subsonic, here's my characters that could conceivably be good matchups. Pick one!

We can fight on Felenr, there are a number of battlefields there from the Mage Wars that could be interesting.

I really get the feeling you're either not taking things seriously or you don't understand power classes in the context of T-1. My character fits into the area of PC or Powered Character. This category is mainly dominated by magic powered characters and god like beings such as demi gods and others. Characters such as Kaguya from Naruto, Aizen from Bleach or War from Darksiders would fit into this category and thus would not be able to be matched to normal human characters as they would not be able to match physically or ability wise. If my RPC were to fight literally any one of the RPC's you posted they wouldn't last more then a couple of posts due to the gulf in power and physical prowess.

@HarbingerKurahi Doc Doctor tends to just scale his characters to whatever he's fighting anyway, Gonad will probably be akin to the Hulk if you fight him with that character.

That being said, some issues with your character if you intend to fight under T1 Eden:

Black Lightning Control: User can create, shape and manipulate the darker, destructive and consuming aspects of lightning, which ignores the limitations and weaknesses of normal lightning. Black lightning not only discharges energy, it shocks and destroys everything it touches, including regular and white lightning.

If that's flavour text, it shouldn't be there, if that's an accurate description of the damage potential of said ability, it's not going to fly. You can't instantly destroy anything, that would be an absolute.

Lightning Mastery: Through a millennia of rigorous training and practice Kurahi has gained complete and total mastery over the element of lightning granting him total immunity to it in all it’s forms as well as allowing him to control an and all forms of lightning, even extending so far as to be able to manipulate lightning that is conjured by others through spells or natural ability.

Another absolute, you can't have completely immunity to an element, especially when you consider what lightning is. The kinetic impact alone bears mention, let alone the heat.

Poison Immunity: Due to his body’s ability to generate poison Kurahi has immunity to poison unrivaled by any other living being. He is immune to all forms of poison as well as most diseases.

Having complete immunity to all poison and disease just because you make it is not a realistic ability in T1 Eden. You can have your body's natural poison act as an anti-venom/poison agent, which breaks down and destroys poison or disease, but it can't be infallible nor instantaneous, in other words, absolute, except for cases where logic takes over (for example mechanical constructs and other non-biological entities.)

Grievance: Grievance was once wielded by the horseman that went by the same name. As the weapon of a horseman it is both unbreakable and forever sharp. When in play Grievance puts off an almost unbearable aura of pain and fear that can drive most weak willed beings such as humans and vampires completely insane if they come into contact with it.

Passive auras that drive humans (and Vampires?) insane aren't going to fly, it's an un-interactable power, and a nasty one at that, I'm assuming you know what that means.

Everything else should pretty much be balanced by T1 Eden rules, but those things would be issues under most tournament rules even outside of T1 Eden.

Hey you, we should have a fight. A fight we discussed literally years ago but never got around to it because the Forum went down after the old Multiverse died.

Evvie vs Abraham Haddad

I shall review his sheet to jog my memory. For some reason I'm thinking abraham was the name of the hand guy.

EDIT: Alright. youtube.com/watch?v=owmdcZUj1lo

I don't think his jaws could snap of her limbs in one go but it would certainly hurt her.

Course it wouldn't, Evvie's pretty distant from a normal human.

Also where did you find the character sheet? I've got the revised one saved on my computer, where's the old one?

So. i'm not familiar with T-1 Eden as that was something that was never mentioned nor used in my time rp'ing. The closest aproximation to that I have is T-1 Royal and even then this character is legal there. My characters abilities have been looked over by several T-1 judges and approved by all of them. My character operates under certain restraints and restrictions via the rules of T-1 that I'm familiar with. If I were to use him without those restraints there would literally be nothing short of a god that could stop him. I fail to see how my characters abilities are not understandable or clear cut.

They're perfectly understandable, they're just disallowed by T1 Eden rules, and most tournament rules I've seen. You can't have abilities with descriptions like 'destroy anything it touches' because the ability can't be interacted with, it shits on whatever it hits if the description is to be taken at face value. If it's just fluff, it should be clearly stated that isn't its actual intended effect. Eden is supposed to go some of the way in regards to balancing out generalised and poorly worded abilities, but absolutes and force hits are still banned in this form of combat. (to explain further, the force hit in this instance is in regards to the effect of the lightning, though it could probably be dodged (somehow, as actual lightning is pretty much as fast as things get, being light and all) it is written to destroy -anything- it touches, which leaves no room for an opponent to mitigate damage if the description is to be accepted.)

Point being, if your abilities aren't actually absolute they're written badly, if they are they're banned by T1 Eden (and most other rulesets) rules. I'm sure plenty of people will still fight you and just ignore the intended effects you've written, but it would be disallowed in most proper tournaments. I assumed you were looking for insight into how the sheet would fare in regards to rulings here and places like here, I can't say I particularly care that other judges have decided the CS provides sufficient information, I can see it does not.

Feel free to heed my advice or ignore it, it makes little odds to me.

@Drifting Pollen Im open for a fight if you'd like one.

@Harbingerkurahi Same goes for you as well. I've already spoken on your absolute abilities, so should you agree to fight, keep in mind that if you are going to say your things can simply destroy anything it touches, then prepare for me to unleash my technical-fu!

The simple fact of the matter is that while certain people play at a high tier, though on this board I'd say I'm the only one who prefers it. Abilities that give absolute resistance to other abilities are generally a no go, it makes for poor writing in general.

Let us take for a moment a hypothetical character.

Let's say a man who uses lightning.

Let's say his lightning is powerful enough to carve planets in two.

Now let's say that your black lightning character faces him.

Despite being distinctly outclassed in strength, speed, and general ability. Your character would absolutely gutterstomp him, even in his base form.

Why?

Because your lightning ABSOLUTELY destroys whatever it touches. SO his lightning is totally worthless in the face of yours.

Absolute powers are reserved solely for Ultra-High and God Tiers.

Two tiers that literally nobody uses on this board outside of joke matches, because they're absolutely buttfucking insane.

To better describe what Melon and I have said in different ways.

Absolute powers are a bitch to fight against if you yourself don't have absolute powers. In fact, they make a majority of fights last far too short and far too boring to bother with.

Any fight can be ended with a single good blow normally, there's no real reason to have an instakill trump card up your sleeve just to throw it on the first move.

Fights that are more about how you outmaneuver, outsmart, or outfight your opponent are much better.

A fight where two evenly matched boxers ends in one getting a perfect right cross in is much more entertaining than the same fight ending with one blowing the other's brains out with a concealed firearm.

See what I mean?
