Hiya! Welcome, one and all, to my Young Justice thread!
For the few that don't know, this roleplay is based off the amazing television series of the same name. It focuses on a team of teenage superheroes, within the DC universe, struggling to get recognition as anything more than sidekicks.
This roleplay will (hopefully) copy the same type of story, action, and characters.

Q1: Is this set in the same universe as the show?
A1: No, not at all. Nothing that has happened in the show is relevant, or cannon for this universe. This RP will essentially start from episode one, with the idea of the sidekicks coming together to form their own little squad. I hope you get what I'm sayin'. XD
Q2: What kind of OCs are acceptable?
A2: Really almost none will be accepted. I want this to be 99% all legitimate DC characters, not just from the show, but I give you the freedom to choose from all corners of the DC comic books, with it's rich variety of characters. The originality comes in that I'm not binding you to a specific version of a certain character, I encourage you to do your own take on famous heroes and villains, changing up their origin, personality, style, and other such things however you wish. I think it'll be fun.
NOW, I did say 99%, now didn't I? Well, I don't mind it all that much if we have one or two sidekicks who aren't actually legitimate characters. I just ask that these characters...
1. Have a Justice League member mentor
2. Take inspiration from that mentor, as in, I don't want you to make the son of Ares, and then have his mentor be Batman. If you're going to make an OC, I don't want it to be anything wild, but just sort of sticking to the formula (i.e. Batman and Robin, Flash and Kid Flash, Green Arrow and Speedy...)
This is important because in the show, them growing out from under their mentor's wing is a huge part of their character development-- and It'd be cool if it were the same with the roleplay.
Now, I'm not saying don't have any depth to the character, apart from those two, I still encourage you to go crazy! I just don't want any characters super out there, without any connections to anyone, trying to force his or her way into the story. If that makes any sense. XDD
I also don't mind hero sidekicks based off major villains, or villain sidekicks based off of heroes/villains. Just saying, but, yeah, I think the only OCs I want are sidekicks at the moment. XD
Q3: Am I able to roleplay anyone other than sidekicks?
A3: Definitely! Feel free to pick up any Justice League members, villains, civilians, whatever. Just make sure to ask me if it's okay to take them before making a form. Just to make sure it doesn't interfere with anything I have in mind.

Rules
1. I understand sometimes it can be necessary for your post, with the type of character, blah, blah, but please try to keep cursing to a minimum. It's really annoying when every other word that comes out a character's mouth is a curse word.
2. This is a semi-advanced thread! This means that I would much appreciate it if you were equipped with proper grammar and punctuation! It would also be preferred that you replied with at least two sentences! D:
Length it out a bit, if the character's just nodding their head, let us know what the character's thinking, or something of the sort. Please note, this is one of the most important rules. I understand a couple of posts where you can only write a couple of sentences, especially when so much is going on; however, if it becomes a continuous event, we may have to talk. XD
3. Another very IMPORTANT rule is godmodding/powerplaying! You all know what this means! The only exception to this rule is if you have permission from the other person to powerplay them for a post. You may see 1Hawkeyes or I 'powerplay' each other from time to time without a word. It's because we talk a lot. So, don't think I'm breaking my own rule. Don't control other people's characters. Random characters, like a bank robber, or civilians in the street, are okay to roleplay, I really don't mind at all. Don't control people's characters, end of discussion. XD
4. A rule that ties in with the last one, is that your characters shouldn't be Mary-Sues. No one is perfect! In fact, the most flawed characters, are often the best type of characters. So, the next time you have your character dodge 52 attacks...
Make them get hit the 53'd time. XD
If you feel someone is doing such a thing to you and your character(s), please feel free to express it in the OOC, as I may not catch every little thing. Sometimes talking things out beforehand, and expressing what you want to happen in the fight/spar/challenge/event/whatever can do wonders in preventing accidental Mary-Sues.
5. My word in OOC is final! No exceptions! Do not argue with me, or anyone else in the thread, please.
6. Don't ruin the plots. By this, I mean, don't just go off and make your own plot while we're doing our own. All plots in mind must be brought to MY attention! I am a guy who loves to roleplay by plot, rather than the freely roleplaying whatever. If you have a cool plot, just tell me! We'll be able to incorporate it into the thread for sure. 8)
7. I love you, and you love me back. This is another rule you MUST follow! ESPECIALLY if you're a hot teenage girl! No exceptions.
8. Drama. Drama. Drama. Drama is really what makes an awesome RP. Trust me! So, for future references, just remember that. Drama is AWESOME in character. No so much in OOC. *cough* rule 5 *cough*
9006, section 34: Do not post your forms, nor your roleplay posts in first person! I despise that! Third person only, please! Thank you! : D
1,889,567, section 2: If you're making an OC, be original with your characters! Originality is what will get them the ladies. 8)
2,338,445,606, section 7: If you have read the rules entirely, please put in the 'Other' part of your form: " I love you, Rhema."
I'm not even joking. Put it there. >: )
9. Or, if you wanna be lame, and NOT put that there, you can put your favorite Young Justice member in the 'Other' section of your form. Rather he/she be from season 1, or 2. Doesn't matter.
