An Original 150 Pokemon, Non-Canon Trainers Role Play. Kanto Or Non-Canon Region.
Professor Oak
"Hello there! Welcome to the world of Pokémon! My name is Oak! People call me the Pokémon Prof! This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokémon! For some people, Pokémon are pets. Other use them for fights. Myself… I study Pokémon as a profession. First, what is your name? Right! So your name is _______! That's right! I remember now! Your very own Pokémon legend is about to unfold! A world of dreams and adventures with Pokémon awaits! Let's go!"
"So my phone wound up fish bait and I'm really gearing towards a Pokémon 1x1..." - SmileyJaws, 17/8/16
I'm looking for one or possibly a couple of people to join me in a Pokémon RP, in case that isn't necessarily obvious yet. The idea is to stick to Kanto or our own region using original trainers I mean there is a throe of Pokémon Trainer art out there it'd be a shame not to put some of it to use. For now we'll stick to the original 150 Pokémon but maybe later expand into other regions canon and non-canon if we are able to keep it up. I'm looking for someone who is active and interested in doing an RP like this and is willing to put in the work with me to keep it going and fresh. I have a general 1x1 interest thread but have gotten back into playing some of the old Pokemon games recently and have been re watching the show and now really want to follow through on a long-term Pokemon role play.

Rules
1. All guild rules must be followed, as much as we can all dislike rules sometimes they're here for a reason.
2. Romance can be a part of the role-play but is definitely not the main plot, PG-13.
3. I would prefer to write this over thread but I will also do PM if it is preferred.
4. I'm no grammar Nazi but I would prefer a casual-advanced level of writing and as a general rule when it comes to RP no one liners. A decent level of grammar and punctuation is preferred. Once I can read your writing comfortably I'm happy.
5. Profread.
6. Hopefully some of these will turn into long term role plays and potential long term 1x1 partners. Activity is expected, as a courtesy please don't just drop an RP without warning, it really can be sad. Similarly, if you're unable to post for a while just say so.
8. Put "Where is 7?" in your post or PM if you read all the rules.
9. Have Fun! We can brainstorm and work around any kinks we run into. Let's just have a good time.

Trainers
Many Trainers leave home at about the age of ten, sometimes accompanied with a starter Pokémon obtained from a Pokémon Professor, such as Oak. Many will travel around one or more regions, doing such things as gathering information for a Pokédex, perfecting their technique, collecting Badges, and working to become a Pokémon Master. No matter what their specialties or aims, there is one code that they all follow—when two Trainers make eye contact, they must have a battle.
Pokémon Trainers come in all sorts of classes: Youngsters tend to stay close to home, and Bug Catchers swarm about the Bug-filled forests; Hikers traverse mountains and caves, Fishermen are rarely far from water, and Ace Trainers aspire to compete in the Pokémon League. A Trainer's class may reflect their Pokémon of choice, the areas they prefer, their technique, and their level of skill; however, even within each class, Trainers may vary greatly.
A Pokédex and set of Poké Balls for a Trainer in the Pokémon Black & White anime
Many towns have a Gym run by a strong and experienced Trainer known as a Gym Leader. Other Trainers may challenge a Gym Leader, and if the Gym Leader is defeated in battle, he or she awards them a Pokémon League Badge. However, in the Pokémon anime, the Gym Leader may award the Trainer a Badge for other reasons, since the Badge is a symbol of the Trainer's skill.
