Hello! I'm Des. I've been interested in roleplaying for a few years now, on a couple of different text based roleplay sites, and I've finally found The Roleplayer Guild. I hope to meet some cool people who share the same roleplay interests as me, and yeah! Let me start off with an introduction on myself.

Hi.
I'm Des.
I'm an asexual panromantic bigender person.
I am a part of the Harry Potter fandom, the phandom, the Pokemon fandom, the Hunger Games fandom, the Undertale fandom, a ton of anime fandoms, and a ton of other fandoms that I don't want to try and pin point.
I like roleplaying because it allows me to leave my world behind, and live in a whole different world. While roleplaying, I become my characters, and I no longer have to be stuck where I am in this world.
I have many characters, and all of them are my greatest accomplishments. In my eyes, they aren't just characters, they're people. I created them to be like people, to be just as complex as a real human being. Every time I've succeeded, I create another accomplishment. Not even I know my characters fully, because it's impossible to completely understand every aspect of a human, and therefore I cannot do the same for my characters.

I may seem a bit over confident, or "braggy", and maybe I am. Honestly, I believe I've created characters that are near human. I can't completely show this during a roleplay, because there's no way to completely write what goes on in a person's head. They think one thing, but their thoughts contradict. My characters do the same, but I can't voice all that in the form of a roleplay.

Welcome to the Guild!
I can relate with your character creation philosophy, haha. While mine may not be perfect, I find that with time my little characters do take a mind of their own. Odd as it sounds, I like to think of my characters as children, and I their caring mother that throws them into life threatening situations, destroys their past and childhood, aggressively ships them with other characters, and destroys them internally AND externally.

...actually on second thought, take my children away from me before I start giving more tragic backstories and emotional pain...
