Stalking? I like stalking! It makes life much more interesting when you can spy on another person's life!

I'm still waiting on Sigurd to make his post, but in the meantime I can post for @gohKamikaze and have him interract some more :)

As for favourite Lovecraft story, can't say that I have read many enough to make a decision without saying "Uh...Call of Cthulhu is pretty cool, I guess?".

@ONL Probably a good idea c:

If you want, I can link you to some of my favorite audio readings of different stories? Probably the shorter ones, though.

@ONLHey, I'll be replying to your PM tomorrow. I was not able to RP in the last couple of days. Sorry about the delay, everyone.

@RBYDark
Hmm... Favourite story... I don't know. Of those less mainstream ones I enjoyed 'The Temple' and 'The Tomb', which I think is his first one. It's really underrated, I quite enjoyed it.

Also, 'The Rats in the Walls' and 'Dagon' are good ones.

@RBYDarkThen I'll get to that right away! Then I have at least done something productive today except buying Prison Architect and discovering that "Dude...running a prison is hard...".

Please do link me some of the stories, though I have all of his books/works in one book. And now that I think about it, "The Beast in the cave" surprised me once I realized it was actually a man, and not a beast (though one can argue that it was both man and beast).

@SigurdSplendid! And no worries, things happens sometimes. I still have confidence that we'll get to the end with this RP ^^

@ONL Alright, here's a few of the readings! (all auditory so you can multitask if you want)

The Haunter of the Dark - this one's my favorite from the podcast, but they've done a bunch of other readings too - including The Temple! I just love the ambient noise use to help set the mood.

From Beyond - Mike Bennett's another serial reader of Lovecraft. He's done others, including The Shadow Over Innsmouth. This one, though, isn't too long, and his voice for Tillinghast feels perfectly manic.

The Colour out of Space - the guy's reading is fairly good, and something about his obvious non-British accent just gives me life, considering some of Lovecraft's... less savory beliefs.

Pickman's Model - the reader has a very conversational style of speaking, which fits this one PERFECTLY.

Fungi From Yuggoth poems - this one's just oddly relaxing to me.

The Rats in the Walls - this one's hard to read aloud and sometimes listen to due to Lovecraft's prolific use of the n-word, but this reader manages to sidestep that without disrupting the story's flow. He also does an excellent job of reading the ending.

@RBYDarkThanks, I'll get to listen to them soon; possibly when I go to sleep (possibly a horrible idea)!

Got a post up, hopefully it can be used. And possibly Jeremy and Fredrick meets August, to get the case file that Barry needed hidden? What better way to hide it than to give it to a pair of strangers, am I right?

Well, I do the same so :p But word of advice - don't put Rats in the Walls or From Beyond near the end of the list. They get loud toward the end.

Lexington u dick

He's not a dick! He may have one, but the mere possession of an object doesn't automatically make him said object!

Thank you for the warning, I'll remember to put on something else then.

The cat-and-mouse dynamic between Lexington and Lichfield is shaping up to be really interesting.

Has anyone watched Stranger Things? I'm around halfway through with the first season and there are some Lovecraftian spookies.

@gohKamikazeIt is, both deadly and mad in their own respective ways. I wonder who'll end up shooting who in the back.

@Sigurd@RBYDark That means that this is a spoiler-free zone, I have not seen it but plan to!

@Sigurd I love Stranger Things! There's definitely a lot of Lovecraftian vibes going on in that show. I'm actually thinking about doing a Chief Hopper cosplay for a con this year or next.

@ONL Probably both killed by Nyarlathotep because they're too stubborn to admit defeat I'm looking forward to finding out! I'm going to write up a post for Argus over the next few days, so we'll see how it paid out from there. I'm still figuring out how Argus is going to get acquainted with the other characters but I'm assuming it will be via interviewing witnesses.

@gohKamikazeIf you want Argus to do those interviews, would you like us to write a collab with you through a PM, or just interview all of the characters together on the spot?

@gohKamikazeThen we'll get one started as soon as Argus finds somebody to interrogate!

Do you recon he heard/saw what Barry and August did, or that he only has his suspecions?

@ONL Definitely just his suspicions. He'd know that Lexington was stalling, but not for what purpose.
